[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set

I’ve tried a couple of different things from the Lovehoney Mindful range of eco-conscious lingerie at this point, and been really impressed by them. So I was very excited to see there was a new selection out in my favourite colour: purple! Today, I’m trying out the Lovehoney Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set.

Mindfully Glamorous

The Mindful lingerie collection is all made of recycled pre-consumer materials, reusing things that would otherwise end up in landfill. Presented in a biodegradable cornstarch bag and with a recyclable cardboard tag, you can feel good about the sustainability credentials when you buy Mindful.

The Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set is a two-piece in a gorgeous, rich shade of plum purple. It is made primarily of polyamide lace and features wide, stretchy under-bust and waist bands adorned with the Lovehoney heart insignia.

The knickers have a little cutout detail at the back, and the bra features a cleavage-displaying peephole in the centre.

Upon taking the Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set out of its packaging, my femme soul was immediately drawn to the colour and pretty floral design of the lace. The set appears sturdy and well-made, a few stray threads that I had to deal with notwithstanding.

So far, so good. How did things go once I put it on?

Fit and Comfort

The Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set comes in 5 different sizes, designed to fit anyone from a size 8 to a size 26 (UK). I received the M/L and it fit my size 12 form beautifully.

Woman in Lovehoney Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set

The Mindful range seems to run true to size, insofar as women’s clothing sizes have any kind of consistency. I’d recommend going a size up if you’re on the cusp between sizes, but otherwise you can order your usual dress size with confidence.

The bra provides very gentle support, much as you’d expect from a soft non-wired bra or bralette. With a traditional clasp with three tightness settings and slider straps, you can adjust the fit for your unique body. There’s also a clip that allows you to turn the straps into a racerback style. I like wearing it this way as I find it provides slightly more support than the straight strap style.

The bra cups fit better than I expected they would, but are really just barely big enough for my G-cup breasts. I wouldn’t recommend this set if your bust is any larger. Overall it’s probably a better fit for those who have slightly smaller breasts. But with a few clever adjustments and some positioning, I did manage to find a comfortable and boob-containing way to wear it. Unlike some bralette styles I’ve tried, I don’t feel like I’m going to fall out of it every time I breathe!

Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set purple lingerie set

The knickers from the Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set are comfortable enough to wear all day. The high-waisted, full brief design makes a nice change from the thongs that so often come with lingerie sets. (Fuck thongs, amirite?) The lace is soft and non-scratchy, and the wide waistband provides extra comfort. They also have a vagina-friendly 100% cotton panel in the gusset, mitigating the risk of thrush and other problems that can arise from wearing man-made fibres around your genitals.

Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set: Verdict

This is a really lovely little set. It’s versatile enough that I can see myself wearing the full set on a date or for a sexy night with my partner. But I can just as easily envision wearing the knickers all day long for a little extra femme joy under my regular clothing.

Comfy, conscious beauty. Colour me impressed!

The Mindful Plum Lace Bra Set retails for £32.99 and is also available in black with green detailing. You can get 10% off this and anything else you order with my Lovehoney discount code, “coffkink10”.

[Lingerie Review] Mindful Teal Lace Shorts

Sustainability and sensuality all in one? It’s a hell yes from me! Today I’m delighted to be reviewing one of the new pieces from Lovehoney’s Mindful range. You may remember the bodysuit I reviewed recently from the same line. Today we’ll be looking at the Mindful Teal Lace Shorts.

Mindful Booty Beauty!

The Mindful range is made from pre-consumer recycled materials, giving a new lease of life to fabrics that would otherwise end up in landfill. From the cornstarch bag to the recyclable tag, even the packaging for the Mindful range is eco-friendly. So you can feel good about every part of your purchase.

Mindful green lace shorts from Lovehoney lingerie

I received the Mindful Lace Shorts in a beautiful, rich shade of green. The elasticated waistband and edging detail is in a contrasting plum purple with little Lovehoney heart insignias along the waistband. Purple and green are two of my favourite colours and I particularly love them together in combination!

Lovehoney heart logo on green lace lingerie

The main body of these knickers is made of a pretty lace in a femme-pleasing floral pattern. The shorts also feature a cute triangular peephole cut out at the back. Overall, the aesthetic is striking and playful.

Fit and Comfort

The Mindful Lace Shorts come in five size options, fitting anyone from a size 8 to a size 26. I received size M/L, which is designed for a UK 12-14. I usually buy a size 12 in underwear at the moment, and these knickers fit me snugly but comfortably. If you’re between sizes and unsure which to get, I’d recommend going a size up.

Woman wearing lace knickers

I’m really glad to see this style of briefs in the Lovehoney store. I kind of hate thongs, if I’m honest. I can deal with them for sex appeal for a short amount of time, but they’re basically a sensory nightmare and I’d never choose them for all-day wear. But these slightly fuller, hipster-style pants are far more comfortable without sacrificing on style.

Womans butt in lace booty shorts

The lace is soft and feels high quality – not scratchy or irritating at all. I particularly appreciate the broad and stretchy waistband for the added comfort it affords.

They’re honestly comfy enough that I could wear them all day long.

Woman posing in green lace shorts

I’m also pleased to see that the gusset is 100% cotton. Many synthetic fibres are not breathable and can trap moisture and odors. For people with vaginas, this can lead to problems like thrush and bacterial infections. So the cotton gusset is a welcome, vulva-friendly touch!

Final Thoughts

Comfortable enough to wear all day, cute enough to wear on a date, and environmentally friendly into the bargain? Tick, tick, and tick! Full marks for me for these playful, sexy pants.

The Mindful Teal Lace Shorts retail for £12.99. You can get a discount on this or any item by using code “coffkink10” at checkout.

[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Hourglass Open-Cup Crotchless Body

If you’ve been reading my reviews for a while, you’ll know that my biggest complaint when it comes to lingerie is often that my G-cup boobs simply won’t fit in the garment properly. One of the ways around that problem? Open-cup lingerie! I recently received the Lovehoney Hourglass Open-Cup Crotchless Body to review. Did it live up to expectations? Let’s find out…

Lovehoney Hourglass Open-Cup Crotchless Body

The Lovehoney Hourglass Body is a one piece bodysuit made of black floral lace and microfibre. It features removeable straps, which frame your breasts as well as helping the garment stay up (though the top is elasticy enough that it stays up fairly well without them). It also features removeable suspender straps.

The Lovehoney Hourglass Body opens at the crotch and is adorned in the centre of the microfibre section with the Lovehoney heart insignia.

First impressions were positive. The piece looks well-made, the fabrics are soft and stretchy, and the aesthetic is sexy.

Fit and Comfort

The Lovehoney Hourglass Body is designed to be wearable either on its own or under clothing as “shapewear”. This means that comfort and fit are of paramount importance – this is something you could potentially wear all night under a dress, not just slip into for bedroom wear.

This piece is super comfy, as lingerie goes, as it’s pleasingly stretchy and feels super soft against the skin. The straps are fully adjustable, so you can set them to suit your body (or remove them entirely, if you prefer). I’m not much of a stockings person but if you are, thigh-highs and killer heels would be a great way to complete the look.

Fit wise, the Lovehoney Hourglass Body runs pretty true to size. I received a Medium and it fits my size 12 frame well. If you’re between sizes, I’d recommend going a size down rather than up, since this piece is stretchy and is supposed to cling snugly.

Since this piece is open cup, you don’t need to worry about cup sizes! (A godsend for people like me who are well-endowed in the chest department). You can easily wear it either by itself or with a bra.

The Lovehoney Hourglass Body is available for all sizes from UK6 to UK28.

Look and Wearability

(This section discussed body confidence and body image issues. Skip to the next header if that’s not something you want to engage with today!)

This is one of those pieces that I’ll wear again and again because it makes me feel confident and sexy as hell.

Despite striving to be body-positive and doing continual work on my self-image, there are still parts of my own body that I struggle with. Most notably, my stomach. So pieces that hide the bits of my body I’m less confident about, while emphasising the bits I do love (waist, boobs), are basically the holy grail of lingerie to me. I’m also really into the way the lace panels cling to the curve of my hips.

Womans ass in black lace lingerie

The look is a kind of femme soft-bondage, especially with the straps left on. It creates a sexy hourglass (hence the name) silhouette. The floral lace is pretty, and I really love the little diamond detailing around the edges.

Simply gorgeous!

Verdict

Yes – an absolute winner! If you’re looking for something to wear under your clothes and surprise your lover with, or just to feel fabulous in the bedoom (/sex club), look no further.

The Lovehoney Hourglass Open-Cup Crotchless Body retails for £32.99.

[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Peony Lilac Sheer Mesh and Lace Crotchless Body

I love purple and its variations, and I love femme things. Is it any wonder, then, that I spotted the Peony range at Lovehoney and knew I needed to try it? The range is available in both black and lilac. I received the Peony Sheer Mesh and Lace Crotchless Body in lilac.

Peony Crotchless Body: First Impressions and Aesthetic

The Peony Sheer Mesh and Lace Crotchless Body is actually really a cross between a bodysuit and a babydoll. It’s an all-in-one garment made of pretty floral lace and sheer mesh with spot detail.

Woman with purple hair in Peony bodysuit from Lovehoney

When I took it out of the packaging, I was immediately impressed with the softness of the materials. Lovehoney lingerie tends to offer a good combination of affordable prices and quality materials, which I love.

The top part is a halterneck bodysuit with a deep neckline, plunging to the elasticated waistband which is adorned by a bow in the same organza as the halterneck and back tie. The half-covered crotch gives way to adjustable straps which sit at the point where butt meets upper thighs. A flyaway half skirt finishes the look.

Lilac lace plus-size lingerie one-size lingerie bodysuit

The Peony Crotchless Body in lilac is a classically feminine look. My inner femme loves it! If you like the shape but pastels aren’t for you, the black version is sexy in a different way.

Comfort, Fit, and Boob Coverage

The Peony Crotchless Body comes in two sizes: one size standard (for UK sizes 8-16) and one size plus (for UK sizes 18-24.) Because it’s adjustable, this piece is fairly flexible in terms of sizing. You can tie the halterneck and back tie as tightly or loosely as you need. The leg straps are also adjustable.

Woman wearing bodysuit in purple lace from Lovehoney Peony

I’m about a size 12 and I found the Peony Crotchless Body to be a comfortable fit in most areas. The one downside is the boob coverage. I’m not sure if it’s due to the halterneck design or tie fastenings, but I found that this piece offers significantly less coverage than some of the more traditional bodysuit items in my collection.

The Peony Crotchless Body contains my G-cups somewhat when I’m standing upright, but as soon as I lie down (or more around too much) they haven’t got a prayer.

I like the piece enough that I’ll probably still wear it occasionally anyway, but you should be aware of this. I’d speculate that anyone larger than about a D-cup might have this issue.

Lace babydoll from Peony range

The Peony Crotchless Body is non-wired. That and the soft fabric makes it comfortable and enjoyable to wear.

Final Thoughts

A mixed verdict on this one. It’s pretty and fun in that flirty, feminine way I enjoy. It’s soft, comfortable, and fairly easy to take on and off. But the boob coverage (or lack thereof) was a significant downside for me.

Gorgeous, but maybe better suited to those with smaller chests than me.

The Peony Crotchless Body from Lovehoney retails for £29.99. Don’t forget to use code coffkink10 at checkout for 10% off your entire order!

[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Moonflower Emerald Green Lace Strappy Body

I first spotted this piece when my partner sent me a link to this Instagram post. As soon as I saw the Moonflower Lace Strappy Body in emerald green from Lovehoney, I knew I had to own it! Happily, my friends at Lovehoney HQ were able to hook me up.

How did I get on with it in reality?

Moonflower Emerald Green Lace Strappy Body: Aesthetic

This one-piece bodysuit is made of lace and mesh in a gorgeous, vibrant shade of green. It is wire-free and features a plunging V-neck and criss-cross detailing at the front and back. It is nipped in at the waist with a broad ribbon accent, and features a popper opening at the crotch.

Moonflower emerald green bodysuit from Lovehoney

I really love how this piece looks. The colour is beautiful and unusual, making a change from the more common blacks, reds, and pinks of the lingerie world. The delicate floral lace is lovely, and the strappy detailing at the back is super sexy.

Bodysuit bra straps on the Lovehoney Moonflower body

I love this type of shape on my body. I think my hourglass waist is pretty much my best feature, and this style shows that off. A plunging neckline will always be sexy, and the criss-cross straps across the cleavage add an eye-drawing touch.

Sex-appeal wise, this one scores top marks from me.

Fit and Comfort

I gravitate towards non-wired lingerie for two reasons: it’s far more comfortable (you will not convince me that anyone finds being poked in the ribs with a wire pleasant!) and it’s far more likely to actually fit me.

The Moonflower Lace Strappy Body is a one-size piece, which you’ll know by now I don’t love as a concept. People come in such a variety of shapes and sizes that the idea of “one size” is a little absurd to me. The Moonflower Lace Strappy Body is supposed to fit sizes 8-16. There’s also a plus-size version for sizes 18-24. (Side note: Lovehoney are killing it with their plus-size lingerie offerings at the moment!)

Curvy woman with big natural boobs wearing lace bodysuit plus-size lingerie

I’m currently a size 12-ish and I found the Moonflower Lace Strappy Body to be a pretty good fit. The fabric and waistband are somewhat stretchy, and both the shoulder straps and waistband can be adjusted using the sliders.

As is often the case with standard lingerie sizing, this piece only “sort of” contains my G-cup boobs. When I’m standing up or lying on my back, it’s fine, but as soon as I lie on my side or raise my hands above my head, they pop out. Not a big problem, but something to be aware of if you’re well endowed in the chest department.

Flattering bodysuit from Lovehoney Moonflower standard and plus-size lingerie ranges

The Moonflower Lace Strappy Body is made of super soft fabric that feels lovely to wear. This isn’t cheap, scratchy lace. It feels sensual and luxurious against the skin.

Verdict

The Moonflower Lace Strappy Body is a winner! It’s very hard to get one-size lingerie right, and inevitably it won’t work for all bodies. But overall this piece is pretty, sensual, comfortable, and flattering. Yes, yes, and yes!

Curvy woman with G-cup boobs in lacy bodysuit

I feel gorgeously femme in this piece and I can’t wait to show it off at a sexy party when we can go to those again.

[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Beau White Lace Basque Set

I generally don’t really think of white as being my colour. I’ve certainly never owned a set of white lingerie before! But I’m all about broadening my style horizons and trying new things, so I was only too happy to accept the Lovehoney Beau White Lace Basque Set and give it a go.

Beau-tiful

Beau is a new lingerie range from Lovehoney. There are three basic styles: the basque, the bra set, and the cut–out body. Each is available in standard and plus sizes, and in white or red, making 12 pieces in total. All the pieces are non-wired.

I received the Beau basque set in white. This two-piece set comprises the basque and a pair of thong knickers.

Woman in white lingerie Beau basque from Lovehoney

The basque is a non-wired all-in-one piece in delicate white floral lace. It has a deep V-neck design and a thick centre band that accentuates the waist and is adorned with the Lovehoney heart insignia. The cleavage, stomach, and waist feature criss-cross detailing and the shoulder straps cross at the back. The Beau basque also has non-removeable suspenders.

Look

I’m surprised at how much I love this basque! Again, I don’t generally think of white as my colour. It has weird connotations of virginity and purity (“its a bit… virginal?” my partner said. Which, lol, I write about dildos on the internet for a living). And given that I’m super pale anyway, white tends to wash me out even more.

White lace lingerie bridal lingerie style from Lovehoney

With that said, I actually think it looks better than I expected! I like the way the waistband emphasises my curves, and the criss-cross detailing is really sexy.

I’m kinda tempted to wear it out to a sex club (whenever we can go to those again.) Darker colours like blacks, reds, and purples are much more common in those spaces, and I think turning up in something white and then being an absolute filthbeast is kinda fun in a subversive way?

This set also brings to mind all kinds of innocence-and-corruption fantasies. It makes me want to look sweet and pretty and then let a hot Dominant absolutely fucking destroy me.

If you think traditional, the Beau basque definitely has a bridal aesthetic. If you’re getting married and looking for some white wedding night lingerie to wow your new spouse, the Beau basque is an affordable (and comfortable!) option.

White lace thong basque Beau lingerie set

Since you can’t remove the suspenders, you really do need stockings with this basque. These lace-top thigh highs will look gorgeous with it!

Fit and Comfort

The Beau basque comes in “one size” (which is designed to fit sizes 8-16, while the Plus size is designed to fit sizes 18-24.) I honestly really struggle to believe there’s much out there that will fit a size 8 body and a size 16 body equally well.

All bodies are different and it is pretty adjustable, but… yeah, “one size” stuff is a minefield.

I’m a size 12 and the Beau basque set was a pretty good fit for me. The back straps and suspenders are fully adjustable and the stretchy waistband has a decent amount of give, so you can adjust it to fit to a certain extent. The waistband of the thong is also fully adjustable. As it’s non-wired, the Beau basque also contains my G-cup boobs surprisingly well.

Verdict

A surprising winner! This piece is unlike anything I’d pick for myself if it wasn’t being sent to me for review, but I love it far more than I expected to.

The Beau basque set retails for £34.99. Use code coffkink10 at checkout to get 10% off this piece or anything else at Lovehoney!

[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Captivate Black Lace Spanking Dress

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which can mean only one thing: a host of new lingerie and sex toy offerings! This is my third review of Lovehoney’s new Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired Captivate range (check out parts 1 and 2 here.)

By the way: there’s still time to join our free smut slam if you’re looking for a fun and socially-distanced Valentine’s Day activity!

Today we’re looking at…

Captivate Black Lace Spanking Dress

I love one-piece lingerie. I love it because it’s usually relatively comfortable, easy to wear, and easy to get on and off during sex club adventures. (*sigh* sex clubs… remember those?) It’s also often more forgiving for those of us who are well-endowed in the boob department.

So I was excited to try out the Captivate Spanking Dress.

Fifty Shades of Grey spanking dress packaging

It came packaged in a cardboard sleeve featuring a picture of the model and a hilarious(ly terrible) Fifty Shades quote on the back.

Fifty Shades of Grey Fifty Shades Darker quote

Inside, the dress was packaged inside a plastic film wrapper, with a piece of cardboard inside to help it keep its shape.

Lovehoney Captivate Spanking Dress

First impressions: wow, this is super tiny! I can’t see any way I’m ever going to fit in that! However, I quickly realised that it is also super stretchy. This “one size” version fits me (a size 12/14) comfortably, and is supposed to fit anyone from size 8-16. There’s also two plus-size versions, one to fit sizes 18-24 and one to fit sizes 26-30.

Woman in Fifty Shades of Grey lingerie black lace spanking dress

The floral mesh is pretty and feminine with just a little bit of a kink-inspired edge. The skirt reaches to just below the butt, and the hem and neckline are edged with pretty floral lace trim. The deep V-neck gives amazing cleavage, and the collar-style neck adds to the soft BDSM aesthetic.

Neckline of Lovehoney spanking dress from Fifty Shades lingerie line

At the back, the butt is fully cut away which is both sexy as hell and allows easy access for impact play. Wearing it just makes me want to bend over and get spanked!

[Lingerie Review] Lovehoney Captivate Lace Open-Back Knickers

Valentine’s Day is coming up! Whether you’re looking for a gift for a lover, a sexy treat for yourself, or ignoring the day altogether, this is always a great time of year for new lingerie and sex toy releases. Lovehoney’s new Captivate lingerie line has just launched in time for Valentine’s, and I’ve got a couple of mini reviews coming out this week.

By the way: are you looking for a fun stay-at-home Valentine’s date idea? Join us for our seasonal and totally free smut slam!

The Captivate line is inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey, which I… don’t love. To address something people keep asking me, I review Fifty Shades-inspired products because the reality is that a LOT of people will come to sexual exploration via that franchise, and I want to give them informed choice about what’s worth their money.

Check out last week’s review of the Captivate Bra Set, and check out the whole range here. Today, we’re looking at…

Captivate Lace Open-Back Knickers

These crotchless knickers came packaged in a black and grey cardboard sleeve bearing the Captivate branding. Recyclable, yay!

Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate knickers packaging

The less said about THIS insult to literature that’s printed on the reverse side, the better:

Fifty Shades of Grey Fifty Shades Darker quote

The knickers are folded neatly inside the sleeve.

Fifty Shades of Grey black crotchless knickers

First impressions: the lace feels nice and soft, and I like the feminine combination of the floral motif and frilly trim around the split. A black bow adds a cute finishing touch. I’ll probably cut off the Fifty Shades insignia charm, to be honest.

Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate black lace open-back knickers

These knickers are open at the crotch and butt for ease of access for sex, spanking, or whatever else you feel like doing. The effect is a sexy, oval-shaped opening, showing off your butt.

Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate black lace open-back knickers

I think they look pretty good on me, don’t you?

I love lingerie that is sexy without being horrendously uncomfortable, and these knickers deliver. They sit comfortably, don’t pinch or dig in anywhere, and the lace is soft enough for all-day wear.

The Captivate Lace Open-Back Knickers are available in 4 sizes, to fit UK sizes 8 to 22. I’m currently wearing a 12/14 and I ordered the M/L size as recommended, which ran true to size and fit me well. The waistband and leg holes are stretchy, allowing for some wiggle-room on sizing.

Captivate Lace Open-Back Knickers retail for £12.99 from Lovehoney. Enter my code “coffkink10” in the coupon box at checkout to get 10% off your entire order.

[Wearable Review] Moonlight Wine Crotchless Plunge Body by Lovehoney

I am not a lingerie person. Like, at all. I go braless basically all the time. My first choice of underwear is boxer shorts. I owned one basque from Ann Summers and passed it on to Mr CK after deciding that, in his very occasional bouts of cross dressing, he looks better in it than I do. This is how NOT a lingerie person I am. (#LazyFemme.)

Even so, when the lovely folks at Lovehoney offered me something from their new Moonlight range to try, I thought it might be fun to broaden my horizons and see what the appeal is. After much deliberation and some consulting with Mr CK, I went for the Crotchless Plunge Body in this gorgeous shade known as “wine.”

Despite the fact that I am most emphatically Not A Lingerie Person, I loved the look of the Moonlight range straight away when I saw some samples at the September affiliate event. The black and red-purple colour scheme and the luxurious fabrics spoke to me of a classiness that is mostly missing from the bits of cheap lace and fake leather I’ve had ill-fated relationships with in the past.

Even so, it was with some trepidation that I tried on this garment. I have a complex relationship with my body-image at the best of times and I am currently in a very frustrating plateau in the midst of a long weight-loss journey. I felt worried that it wouldn’t fit or that I’d just look ridiculous and about as sexy as a blob.

But I needn’t have worried. The moment I felt the satin and lace against my skin, I started to feel transported into a sexy space. Really good clothing can take me to a different place. In a well-tailored dress and heels, I’m ready to take on the business world. In the perfect floor-length gown, I can swoosh around a charity ball with people much richer than me and act like I belong there. And, it seems, in really good lingerie I go from zero to sex-kitten in moments. When I’ve got this piece on, I just want someone to stick their fingers through the convenient access hole in the crotch. I feel babely as all hell, and I love it.

A couple of extra things of note: this piece is hand-wash only. All the pieces in the Moonlight range come in equally-gorgeous Plus Sizes (up to approx. UK 24). Unlike many companies, Lovehoney do not charge more for Plus Size.

My Ratings (all scores out of 5★)

Price: ★★★★★
This piece retails at £34.99 and items in the Moonlight range go up to £39.99. Considering that you can easily pay as much for a half-decent bra, and that comparable basques and bodies at some high street stores can retail for upwards of twice as much, these prices are really reasonable for the quality.

Appearance: ★★★★★
I really can’t overestimate how gorgeous this body is. The shade (well-named, it really is close to the colour of red wine!) is stunning, the cut is really flattering, and the lace and ribbon accents are stylish and eyecatching without being “too much.” The satiny ribbon around the middle is a really nice touch that completes the look for me – I love how it accentuates my waist, which is one of my best features.

Materials: ★★★★★
It’s a mix of satin and lace, which look beautiful together and feel gorgeous against the skin. I particularly love how soft the lace is. I tend to shy away from lace because it can be so scratchy, and my skin is very sensitive to textures, but this doesn’t scratch at all. There’s definitely no corner-cutting by using cheap materials here. The fabrics carry off the luxurious first impression.

Fit: ★★★★
The Moonlight pieces run true to size, in so far as women’s clothing has consistency of sizing. I normally wear a size 12 and I ordered the medium, which is labelled as a 10-12 and fits me snugly but well. The only thing I will point out is that the cups run a bit small if you’re big-busted. I have DD boobs and the medium is a little small on them – at a guess I would say it’s maybe a C-cup. Just something to be aware of for those of us with an above-average bust for your size. The band size fit me well at a 36.

Overall Score: ★★★★★
I really wasn’t expecting to be as impressed with this piece as I am, given the price and my general ambivalence towards sexy lingerie as a thing. After this, though? I might be something of a convert.

I can’t wait to wear it for Mr in the bedroom!
