After some excellent recent collaborations, I have come to expect great things from a Lovehoney/Womanizer product. So when the Lovehoney x Womanizer Inside Out landed in my review pile, I was ready to be wowed.
Did it live up to expectations?
Lovehoney x Womanizer Inside Out
The Inside Out by Womanizer and Lovehoney is a dual stimulation clitoral and G-spot toy. It’s a similar shape to a rabbit vibrator but, instead of the traditional “bunny ears,” the clitoral stimulator is a suction toy using Womanizer’s patented Pleasure Air tech.

The Inside Out is superficially similar to the Womanizer Duo, though there are some key differences. Specifically, the Inside Out has a shaft that is pretty much the same width all the way along, while the Duo has a more pronounced head. The Duo also has some fancy bonus features that the Inside Out lacks, such as the Smart Silence function.
The InsideOut is fully waterproof, and rechargeable via USB. Its shaft is 4.5″ in insertable length, and the whole thing is 7.5″ long. It is made of smooth body-safe silicone in the same shade of purple as Lovehoney’s Desire range.
Womanizer x Lovehoney Inside Out Review: What I Did Like
First, the good.
This toy’s clitoral suction stimulator is amazing. It really ought to be, given that that’s the main thing Womanizer is known for! It has 12 settings and comes with a second nozzle, which has a wider opening. The extra nozzle is ideal if you have a larger clit or like stimulation over a broader area.
I also like the flexibility of the shaft. A common complaint with dual stimulation toys is that they just don’t take different body configurations into account. But because the Inside Out’s shaft flexes, you can position it however you like, making it easier to stimulate your clit and G-spot effectively at the same time.
Speaking of G-spot stimulation, that curved shaft is ideally shaped. I also like that it’s not too thick, since slimline is usually my preference when it comes to penetrative toys.
Womanizer Inside Out Review: What I Didn’t Like
Unfortunately, the Lovehoney x Womanizer Inside Out has some really significant downsides. First, it’s loud as fuck. The clitoral suction part makes an enraging rattling buzz that sounds like a cross between a lawnmower and my coffee machine when it runs out of water.
The Inside Out somehow gets rated 4/5 for “Quietness” in on-site product reviews, which is just laughably inaccurate. It is so loud, and in a way that is distracting enough to significantly reduce any pleasure I’m getting from the toy.
Secondly, the buttons are finnicky. I consistently struggle to get the Inside Out to reliably turn on and off, and sometimes have to press the button two or three times to get it to do what I want. For some reason, the red “power” light stays on inside the nozzle for several minutes, even when you’ve switched the toy off.
Finally, the vibrations in the shaft are super buzzy. This is less of a problem for me personally, since my idea of good internal vibes is no internal vibes. But lots of people do enjoy G-spot-targeted vibrations and if this is you, you’re likely to find the Inside Out’s power disappointing. I tried to repurpose the shaft as a clitoral vibe, and it was neither powerful nor rumbly enough to be pleasurable.
Verdict
The Lovehoney x Womanizer Inside Out has a lot of potential but is really let down by its significant flaws. While I did get some pleasure out of using it, thanks to the flexible positioning and strong suction settings, it left me disappointed overall.
After some major Lovehoney/Womanizer winners, this one is a miss.
Notably, the InsideOut retails for £119.99/$129 and is available from Lovehoney UK and Lovehoney US.

I had the InsideOut for a couple of years, but was never really pleased with it. Now bought myself the Duo2 and this one is so much better. If you’re thinking about buying a Womanizer, defenitely go for the Duo2.
