One of the most difficult things about sex toy shopping is that it’s almost impossible to know how a toy will work for you until you actually try it. You can make an educated guess by learning about your body’s preferences, reading reviews, and learning about toy categories and features more broadly, but you never really know how something is going to feel ahead of time. And, for obvious reasons, you can’t generally try a toy until you’ve bought it and most retailers don’t accept returns unless a product is faulty. This can make toy shopping feel like a risk, especially when you’re on a budget.
But what if you could buy a toy and try it out, then return it for a full refund—no questions asked—if it doesn’t work for you? That’s what Huxi brings to the table. You can return any Huxi product within 60 days, including products that you’ve opened and used. In their words:
“If it isn’t for you, we refund your money — in cash, to the card you paid with, within five working days. Not store credit. Not a replacement. No forms, no photographs, no phone call.”
It’s rare (almost unheard of) to see such a solid returns policy in the sex toy industry. It tells me that Huxi stands behind their products and genuinely cares about their customers’ experience. So, naturally, I was keen to try one. I received the Huxi Flick to review.
What is the Huxi Flick?

The Huxi Flick is a rabbit-style dual stimulation toy. It features a traditional insertable shaft measuring 4″ in insertable length and 1.27″ in diameter at the widest point. Instead of a traditional vibrating clitoral stimulator or rabbit ears, though, it features a rotating wheel of little soft silicone tongues. Does anyone remember the Sqweel? (What a throwback that is!) Yeah, it’s like that. It also has a warming function, which gradually brings it up to 40°C, or just above average human body temperature.
The Flick is made of body-safe silicone in vibrant purple. It is rechargeable via the included USB cable, with a full charge taking around 90 minutes and giving approximately an hour of runtime. It is IPX7 waterproof, i.e. submersible. You also get a remote control and a drawstring storage bag. (Bear in mind that although the toy is waterproof, the remote likely isn’t!)
What I Liked About the Huxi Flick

After almost a decade of doing this work, there are two types of reviews I most enjoy writing: the “I loved this product and can’t wait to tell my readers how amazing it is” variety, and the “I hated this product and can’t wait to be snarky about how dreadful it is” variety.
Spoiler alert: this is the first kind.
Let’s get into what I loved about the Huxi Flick.
- The first thing I noticed about this toy is its petite size. With the entire toy measuring just over 5″ in length (4″ insertable) and weighing just 110g, I was genuinely surprised how small it is. I was expecting a much larger toy. As someone who sometimes struggles with large insertables and prefers penetration as an add-on to clitoral stimulation rather than the main event, this toy’s small size started winning me over immediately.
- The deep ridges on one side of the insertable shaft provide extra stimulation on insertion and removal, as well as texture which stimulates the sensitive vaginal walls.
- The vibrating motor is good. It’s strong and, while I wouldn’t go as far as to call it truly rumbly, it’s also not uncomfortably buzzy.
- The flexibility of the “hinge” between the internal and external arms of the toy allows for more comfortable positioning for a range of bodies.
- That rotating tongue stimulator? Brilliant. I absolutely love it. Does it feel like receiving cunnilingus? No. Nothing does. We do not yet have the technology to accurately mimic that sensation, and the person who invents it will deservedly become very rich indeed. (Can someone get on that, please and thank you?) But the consistent flicking, lapping sensation is incredible. It’s a gentler sensation than many toys in my collection, but I can get off with it if I give myself time and enjoy a slow-build experience. Like other non-traditional clitoral stimulators I’ve tried, I find light pressure works better for this one.

- If you want to use just the external stimulator on its own, that’s super easy to do. Just flip the toy around and use the main shaft like a handle. You can also, of course, use the vibrator part on its own.
- I love that you can control the two parts of the Huxi Flick completely separately. As someone who doesn’t particularly like internal vibrations, I like that I can insert the shaft without switching it on but still use the clitoral stimulator.
- The warming function is a nice extra. It’s not something I crave in toys that don’t have it, but I definitely appreciate it as an add-on.
- The buttons are intuitively placed and easy to press. They also light up, making them easy to see in the dark.
What I Didn’t Like

There’s a lot to like about the Huxi Flick. There are also a couple of things I found frustrating.
First of all, while the Huxi Flick isn’t especially loud, the whirring noise of the rotating stimulator is pretty high-pitched and can be distracting. I can’t use this one on very sensory-sensitive days, unless I put my earphones in beforehand.
Second, though I like the easy-press light-up buttons in general, they’re very small. This can make them hard to locate by touch alone and makes it easy to accidentally hit the wrong one. I’m also, as ever, frustrated by the single-button interfaces for each motor. It doesn’t matter so much for the clitoral stimulator, which has just three speeds, but it’s pretty annoying for the vibrator, which has 3 speeds and 7 patterns.
The remote’s control system is also confusing. There’s a button that looks like a jagged line. On the main toy this controls the vibrator, while on the remote the same button controls the clitoral stimulator. I’m not sure why this is.
Finally, and there admittedly isn’t really anything that can be done about this, the Huxi Flick is kind of a pain to clean. All those little tongues feel amazing, but they also trap bodily fluids like nothing else. I still think it’s worth it, but be prepared to spend a little longer cleaning this toy between uses.
Huxi Flick Review: Verdict
Overall, this is an excellent product. I chose it because it was different to anything else in my collection. I also thought it might be a good choice for someone who prioritises clitoral pleasure, and I was not wrong.
The Huxi Flick retails for £54 (about $73 for my US friends), a more than reasonable price for the quality of the product. C&K readers can use code AMY20 to get 20% off this or any other Huxi purchase (excluding Leda The Swan and Thunder & Lightning toys.)
Thanks to Huxi for sponsoring this review. This means I was paid to test the toy and write an honest, unbiased review. All views, as always, are mine.
