I sometimes feel like I am the only polyamorous person on the planet who doesn’t play Dungeons & Dragons. (I’m also ambivalent towards most board games. I know, I know, just revoke my polyamory card now!) Even so, given the reputation my community has for being utter nerds, how could I resist a DnD-themed fantasy sex toy? Mr Hankey’s Toys kindly sent me their Dildos & Dragons dildo to try out.

The Dildos & Dragons dildo by Mr Hankey’s is a fantasy sex toy made, like all Mr Hankey’s toys, from 100% quality and body-safe silicone. It features a large base and a gently curved shaft, with a pronounced head and some superbly intricate dragon scale detailing.

This dildo comes in four sizes, ranging from Small/Med (10.25″ in overall length, 2.38″ in diameter at the widest point) up to XXXL (15.6″ in overall length, 3.74″ in diameter at the widest point.) The Dildos & Dragons dildo is available in a choice of 24 colours, with the option to add a metallic effect. You can also choose from four firmness levels and add a vac-u-lock hole (for use with some fucking machines) if you wish. One reviewer noted in their post that this toy worked well with their mini sex machine.

I requested the small/med size, medium-firm, in metallic blood red. It is, as I’ve come to expect from Mr Hankey’s toys, far from anything I would personally define as “small.”

Personally, I wish I’d opted for a brighter colour. The dark reddish-brown is striking, and felt thematically appropriate for this toy, but on reflection it isn’t really my style. Fortunately, you can get your dildo in any colour you want so you can customise it in whatever way feels right for you. Hot pink dragon? Bright orange dragon? Sure, why not?

Whatever colour you go for, I recommend adding the metallic effect. It gives the toy a gorgeous shimmer under the light. It adds nothing but aesthetic value, but aesthetics matter when it comes to fantasy sex toy choices.

Dildos & Dragons Fantasy Sex Toy: What I Liked

Every Mr Hankey’s fantasy dildo I’ve tried so far has blown me away with its sheer level of and attention to detail. The Dildos & Dragons is no exception. This dragon-themed dildo is simply gorgeous. From the feathering detail towards the base to the ridges up the side and the small scales decorating the head, every inch of this toy has been thoughtfully and intricately crafted.

If you want an immersive fantasy experience with your toys, Mr Hankey’s is consistently hard to beat.

The other thing that really drew me to the Dildos & Dragons dildo was its shape. The curve makes it ideal for targeting the G-spot (or prostate, if you prefer.) And, since the curve is primarily located towards the top of the shaft, you don’t need to insert the entire toy to enjoy it. Want to play with just the first few inches? Chances are, you’ll still be able to hit the good spots with this toy.

The head on this toy is pretty pronounced. If you enjoy the feeling of having the sensitive opening of your vagina or anus stimulated, you’ll likely enjoy the “pop” sensation this head gives you when you thrust the Dildos & Dragons dildo in and out. It also provides additional pressure against the G-spot or prostate, which many people find very pleasurable.

Finally, let’s talk about that texturing. It’s intense, but not overly so. Much of the detailing is fairly “flat” (i.e. there aren’t large bumps or ridges sticking out,) making it definitely noticeable in use without being so much that it becomes uncomfortable. The texturing is most noticeable around that aforementioned head ridge.

I can’t really find anything to “dislike” about this toy. Even though mythical creatures aren’t my kink, I can appreciate the Dildos & Dragons dildo as both a beautifully made piece of art and a fantastically designed sex toy from a sensation perspective.

Just a couple of things to be aware of to help you make the right fantasy sex toy buying decision for you:

There really is no “small” here. This toy’s size options range from “pretty large” to “holy fucking shit, nope.” Take note of the dimensions before you buy, because if you’re used to more standard dildos (or, like, regular human penises) you might be surprised at how eye-wateringly huge these things are. With that said, as I mentioned above, the Dildos & Dragons design lends itself to just using the first few inches if you prefer. And, despite its overall large size, the Dildos & Dragons dildo has a relatively small head diameter compared to many other Mr Hankey’s toys.
Your firmness choice can really make or break your experience. I went with “medium firm,” which seems about right for this toy. I think “extra firm” might make the texturing too intense, while one of the softer levels might not give enough internal pressure. Obviously it’s all down to your preferences. In general, though, firmer silicone = a more intense experience.
The silicone is pretty matte. You’ll definitely need a lot of lubrication with this one. It also picks up a lot of lint and dust in storage, so always give it a quick wash before use.

**Verdict: The Perfect Toy for Adult Dungeons & Dragons Fans**

Something regular readers will know about me is that I like my toys bright, colourful, sparkly, in unusual aesthetics, and girly as hell. This is one reason I don’t often gravitate towards strictly realistic dildos. However, one of the things I love about Mr Hankey’s Toys is that all their various designs, from the realistic to the fantastical, can be customised from a range of 24 colours. You’ll understand, then, why I felt compelled to request the Big Pop giant realistic dildo in the brightest shade of pink they have for this review.

What is the Mr Hankey’s Toys Big Pop?

The Big Pop by Mr Hankey’s Toys is a realistic dildo available in four giant sizes. Even the size Small measures 10″ in total length and 2.2″ in diameter at the widest point. The largest size, the 4XL, is 17.25″ in length and 4.29″ in diameter at the widest point. I requested the Big Pop dildo in the second size up, which is 12″ in length and has a head diameter of 2.86″, for this review.

The Big Pop is available in four firmness levels. I requested the 75% soft, the second softest option, to offset the sheer size of the thing! If you prefer greater intensity, select the medium firm or extra firm density. If you want to ease into using oversized toys more gently, consider one of the two softer options. Extras such as a metallic effect and vac-u-lock hole for use with a fucking machine are also available.

The design of the Big Pop is based on a circumcised penis with an ultra-pronounced head. The name comes from the “popping” feeling that you can get when you thrust with a toy of this shape. It also has a skin-like textured shaft, lifelike ridge, realistic balls, and a gentle curve.

Like all Mr Hankey’s Toys, this dildo is made of body-safe silicone.

Big Pop Giant Realistic Dildo Review: What I Like About This Toy

Again, I think one of the biggest selling points of Mr Hankey’s Toys is the customisation options they offer. Flesh-coloured realistic dildos aren’t really my jam, but this one makes me smile every time I look at it. It’s such a brilliant and ridiculous shade of bubblegum pink juxtaposed with the realistic design.

The first thing to know about the Big Pop is that it really is absolutely fucking huge. Seriously, look at the specs and visualise what 10″ or 12″ or 17″ actually looks like before you buy. Over the years, I’ve been asked about giant realistic dildos in body-safe materials more times than I can count. For that reason alone I’m glad this toy and Hankey’s range of other realistic dildos exist.

As always, Mr Hankey’s Toys’ attention to detail is excellent. From the skin texturing and veins to the lifelike balls, it’s clear care has been taken to make this dildo as realistic as possible.

This toy really is about the head. Its size, shape, realistic detail, and pronounced design are what most users will buy this dildo for. If you want a dildo that offers a feeling of fullness alongside some seriously intense and targeted G-spot or prostate stimulation, the Big Pop is the one for you.

This is also clearly a dildo made with thrusting in mind (though, as we’ll see in the next section, this isn’t the only way to enjoy it.) As it slides in and out, the ridge of the head stimulates the sensitive nerve-endings around the vaginal or anal opening.

The 75% soft I requested for this review was the perfect density for the Big Pop dildo, in my view. It’s not so soft that the dildo becomes difficult to insert. But it is soft enough to dial down the intensity a little.

Though it’s a pretty long toy, particular at the larger sizes, the Big Pop giant realistic dildo is a dream toy for serious girth lovers. You don’t need to use the entire shaft if you don’t want to; in fact, you could literally just use the head and the first inch or two if that’s what works best for you. For those who enjoy girthy insertables and a feeling of stretch, the Big Pop allows you to explore this with either deep or shallow penetration.

Things to Be Aware Of

As with all the very large dildos I’ve reviewed, the Big Pop is not a “slip it in and get off quickly” dildo. Using a toy of this size requires preparation, warm-up, patience, and even more lube than you think you’ll need. All of this applies doubly if you’re considering using this toy anally. Don’t put pressure on yourself to take the entire thing side you, now or ever. Listen to your body, do what feels good, and stop straight away if anything hurts.

The key selling point of the Big Pop realistic dildo is that ultra-pronounced giant head. However, some people may find this uncomfortable, particularly if you’ve been used to smoother toys. Again, take your time. If you find thrusting with this toy painful or uncomfortable, try gently wiggling it, rotating it, or even just putting it in and then keeping it still. Many people find consistent pressure against their G-spot or prostate more pleasurable than repeated pounding.

Due to the size and slight curve, this toy also isn’t great for hands-free use. Its weight and top-heavy design means it’s hard to get it to stand up reliably on its own. This isn’t an issue for me as I don’t tend to use toys that way. But if you like to ride your toys in a hands-free position it’s something to be aware of.

Mr Hankey’s Toys Big Pop Dildo Review: Verdict

Far from being yet another generic realistic dildo, the Mr Hankey’s Big Pop is clear about the need it’s filling and does so damn well. For people who want an oversized toy that offers intense stimulation to both the sensitive vaginal/anal opening and the G-spot/prostate, it’s an ideal option. The detailing and customisation options elevate it to a premium product that’s worth the price.

The Big Pop dildo retails at prices starting from $129.95 for the smallest size. Larger sizes are of course more expensive, and customisations and add-ons also affect the final price.

[Toy Review] Mr Hankey’s Toys “ONI” Demon Dildo

I’ve featured a lot of different types of dildos on this blog up to now. Tentacle dildos, dragon dildos, unicorn dildos, and of course, my personal faves: sparkly dildos! A demon dildo, though, is a new one on me. Based on the mythical devil creature of the same name, today we’re looking at the ONI dildo by Mr Hankey’s Toys.

What is the Mr Hankey’s ONI?

The ONI by Mr Hankey’s Toys is a silicone dildo available in four sizes, ranging from Small (7.1″ insertable length, 1.87″ diameter at the widest point) through Medium, L/XL, up to XXL (12.75″ insertable length, 3.26″ diameter at the widest point.) Since even the smallest of these sizes is by no means “small”, I might be inclined to rename them Large, Extra Large, Fucking Enormous, and Oh My God Are You Actually Kidding?, but that’s just me.

The ONI dildo features a demon face, complete with horns, in the centre of the shaft. It is ultra curved and heavily textured along all sides, with ridges, swirls and bumps. It has a thick shaft at the bottom that tapers up to a slimmer head.

Like most Mr Hankey’s toys, it is highly customizable. You can choose from the four sizes I’ve already mentioned, four firmness levels, and 25 colours. You can also add a metallic effect and a Vac-u-Lock hole for a sex machine, if you like.

I received the ONI in size Medium, which measures 10.75″ in total length, 9″ in insertable length, and 2.33″ in diameter at the widest point. I chose metallic green in medium firmness with no Vac-u-Lock hole.

ONI Demon Dildo: What I Liked

The ONI appealed to me because it’s so different to anything I’ve tried before. I wasn’t really sure if it would work for me. But I had to try it just because I don’t have anything similar in my collection. My experience with textured toys has been mixed.

My first observation about the ONI devil dildo is that it’s not really a toy I can thrust with. The in-and-out motion means that the ridges and bumps along the back irritate my sensitive vaginal walls pretty quickly. This is much more a “put it in and enjoy the sensation” kind of toy. (Which is actually convenient because it’s also heavy as fuck, so I imagine thrusting with it would become pretty tiring pretty quickly!)

Here’s what else I liked about the ONI devil dildo:

It really is very aesthetically pleasing! I don’t have a monster/demon kink, but I love this dildo’s combination of ornate swirls and the beast-like ridges along the back of the shaft. The metallic green shade I chose is gorgeous. I suppose red would have been more traditional, but I like my toys in bright and unexpected colours.
The tapered tip makes the size far more manageable than many of the extra large toys I’ve tried. By beginning with a slimmer end that gradually widens, the user’s body can warm up and open up to gradually take more of the toy.
That curve tho! The ONI’s curve is so pronounced that you can get amazing G-spot or prostate stimulation from even just using the first two or three inches. Since the chances of me getting this entire toy inside me are slim-to-none, I appreciate that I can enjoy it even so.
When I’m in the mood for it, I do enjoy the texture. I chose the medium firmness, which is a good balance between allowing the texture to be fully felt and ensuring it doesn’t become “so intense it’s painful.”
Even with the medium-firm density of the silicone, it still has a decent amount of flex and a little squish to it. This, too, aids in comfortable insertion and use.
That little lip that sticks out at the base of the shaft could theoretically stimulate the clitoris when the toy is inserted all the way. I can’t actually use it like that because, as I mentioned, there’s no way this entire thing is getting inside me. But you potentially could, if that’s your thing! It’s a cool design feature, anyway.

Bonus pro tip: if you have a clit and you can position the toy suitably to make this work, the texture on both sides of the shaft feels amazing for grinding on. You’re welcome.

Potential Downsides and Things to Consider

Like many Mr Hankey’s products, the ONI demon dildo is… sizeable, to say the least. The combination of the large size and the heavy texturing will mean it won’t work for everyone. If you’re new to textured toys, I recommend getting the smaller size, and if you’re new to extra large toys I suggest starting with a smoother one before you try something like this.

This is a toy that requires a lot of warm-up and a lot of lube. It’s large, it has a lot of texture, and the silicone is pretty matte. This isn’t a “get off quickly and go” type of toy!

Due to the intense curve of this one, it stands up okay on its own but doesn’t balance very well when you apply any kind of pressure or movement. If you’re someone who likes to use your dildos hands-free, this probably isn’t the one for you.

All the ridges and little nooks can make the ONI a bit of a pain to clean. Boiling it is the best way to remove bodily fluids and kill off bacteria between uses.

ONI Demon Dildo: Verdict

A gamble of a choice for me, but one that paid off! This toy is unique and different, with a fantastic curve (thank you!) and some interesting texturing. It’s sure to appeal to monster fans, fantasy toy aficionados and serious texture lovers. I can’t honestly say it’s going to enter my regular rotation of toys, as my tastes generally skew towards smaller, smoother, and simpler, but it’ll definitely get some occasional use.

[Toy Review] Mr Hankey’s Toys Captain’s Hook Curved Dildo

I’m really pleased to be back with another Mr Hankey’s Toys review following my mini-series last year. The Mr Hankey’s team recently got back in touch recently and asked me to pick another three toys to review. As soon as I saw it, I couldn’t resist the gloriously curved dildo that is the Captain’s Hook.

Extreme Curved Dildo: Mr Hankey’s Toys Captain’s Hook

The Captain’s Hook by Mr Hankey’s Toys is a realistic silicone dildo with an extreme curve. It is available in four sizes, with the total length ranging from 8.25″ to 12″ in overall length. Its central shaft diameter ranges from 2.06″ to 3.23″. It is also available in four firmness levels ranging from very soft to extra firm.

Having had previous experience with Mr Hankey’s products and their impressive sizes, I chose the smallest size for my Captain’s Hook dildo. This means my toy measures 8.25″ in length, 7″ in insertable length, and 2.06″ in diameter at the centre of the shaft. Whichever way you look at it, the Captain’s Hook is a large dildo even in the smallest size.

I requested my Captain’s Hook in the second softest of the four options. As with all Mr Hankey’s products, you can customize your product with your choice of colour. The Captain’s Hook dildo is advertised in a metallic gunmetal grey, but I like my electric UV pink choice better! (Femmes gonna femme, amirite?)

This toy has a large, thick base which allows it to stand up on its own as well as making it theoretically harness-compatible (though, as we’ll see below, this might not work so well in practice.)

What I Liked About the Captain’s Hook

I knew I was going to love this toy as soon as I saw it on the Mr Hankey’s site, and I was right. Curved dildos are amazing for targeting the G-spot, and this is the most extremely curved silicone dildo I’ve ever owned. I’ve also found that they allow me to experiment with larger toys while minimising the risk of hitting my cervix, which is something I find intensely painful.

This dildo’s curve is so intense that I can get plenty of enjoyment from using just the first two or three inches, if I’m not in the mood for full insertion (which the body often isn’t even if the mind is willing.)

Interestingly, th Captain’s Hook is actually listed on the Mr Hankey’s site as a “prostate massager.” I have neither a prostate nor a sufficiently brave butt to attempt anal insertion of this toy, myself, but I’m sure it would feel amazing for folks who are into larger anal toys and target the prostate in the same way as it does the G-spot.

The softness level of this toy is also pretty ideal for me. The 75% soft silicone is a middling density, with a little bit of squish. This enables the toy to be slightly flexible, which is ideal for more comfortable positioning with larger toys. Choose a firmer option if you want something more intense. Or, if you want this toy to be a little gentler, select the softest silicone.

Aside from the level of curve, the Captain’s Hook dildo is realistic in design. It has a pronounced corona (that’s the “rounded border that projects from the base of the glans penis”) and texturing along the shaft to mimic skin and veins. This makes it an ideal toy for those who enjoy a realistic or semi-realistic aesthetic, but prefer the sensation of a curve.

Any Downsides To Be Aware Of?

Due to its size, the Captain’s Hook is a heavy dildo even in its smallest size. This means that, although it is technically harness-compatible, I can’t imagine using it for strap-on sex realistically. The large base enables it to stand upright, but also adds additional weight and bulk.

Mr Hankey’s notes on the product page that for the larger sizes in particular, this toy can be more practical for partnered play due to its size and shape. Due to the shape and lack of a suction cup, it’s unlikely to be suitable for hands-free use.

The surface texture of the silicone is also very matte. I’ve pointed this out before and I think it might just be a feature of the silicone or finishes that Mr Hankey’s uses. This can add to the challenging nature of inserting a toy this large. You should always use tonnes of lube when using an extra large dildo anyway. The grabby feel of this silicone just makes this even more essential.

Captain’s Hook Curved Dildo: Verdict

I love this dildo. My initial impressions were entirely correct here; this design is fucking fabulous. I’ve never tried a silicone dildo this curved before. The closest things I have in my collection are stainless steel or glass, which is of course a completely different sensation.

The Captain’s Hook is a dildo designed with serious targeted internal stimulation in mind, whether you use it vaginally or anally. Its intense curve and girthy shaft up the intensity.

[Toy Review] Nothosaur Meo’s Ridge Extra-Long Dildo

We seem to be in something of a golden age of fantasy sex toys right now. More and more designers and manufacturers are popping up, and existing retailers are also realising the potential of these types of toys and beginning to stock them. From dragon dildos to Zodiac sex toys to tentacles and much more, if you can think of it then someone has probably made a version of it you can fuck. And for whatever reason, fantasy toys and oversized toys—from ultra-girthy to extra-long dildos—very often seem to go together. This week, Nothosaur is back as a site sponsor once again and has asked me to review their Meo’s Ridge extra-long dragon dildo.

Meo’s Ridge: An Extra-Long Dragon Dildo

The Meo’s Ridge by Nothosaur is a sex toy inspired by a dragon-like creature. Its suction cup base, adorned with spikes, gives way to a long and rippling shaft with rich and beautiful scale-like texturing. It really does make you think of the spines and scales on a mythical creature.

The Meo’s Ridge dragon dildo is available in four sizes from XS to L, and three firmness levels: soft, medium, or hard. You can also add a vac-u-lock base, if you want. Lengths range from 9.4″ up to 17.5″ in total length, and 8.4″ up to 16.3″ in insertable length. I requested the Small size (the second smallest overall, measuring 12.2″ in overall length and 10.8″ in insertable length) in medium firmness.

As with most Nothosaur toys, you can also customize your Meo’s Ridge dragon dildo with your choice of colours. There are set suggested colourways available, or you can pick from a single solid colour, a two-colour fade, a covered colour (different colours for the inside and outside), or a marble effect with two or three colours.

I chose the pastel pink A-07 and pastel turquoise C-06 shades. The way they’ve blended together in the final fade, with a lilac colour in the middle, reminds me of a pastel version of the bisexual pride flag! This wasn’t intentional on my part, but I’m into it.

The Meo’s Ridge Extra-Long Dragon Dildo: Impressions & In Use

The first thing that struck me about the Meo’s Ridge dragon dildo when it arrived (apart from its size – more on that in a minute) is how pretty it is. The scales and ridges are a work of art. The level of detailing that has gone into it is truly impressive. I love the colourway I chose – I think it’s giving “queer pastel femme but make it a little bit edgy.”

The silicone looks and feels to be high quality. It is very matte, so it can feel quite “grabby” against the skin and this is amplified by the texturing. Just make sure to add plenty of lube to this toy. I recommend the boil-sterilising method of cleaning. All those little ridges and crevices can harbour germs and bacteria if you don’t clean the toy thoroughly.

The tapered design of the Meo’s Ridge dragon dildo is excellent. If you’re new to experimenting with extra-long dildos, trying out “depth training”, or just prefer a slower warm-up, a tapered toy is a great way to enjoy gradual insertion without things feeling too intense too quickly.

I also like that the Meo’s Ridge dragon dildo isn’t too girthy. The diameter at the widest insertable point ranges from 1.5″ (XS) up to 2.7″ (L), though this point is right near the base of the toy so many users may never insert it that far. The first bulge, towards the top of the shaft, ranges from 1.1″ up to 2.2″ in diameter. Not everyone enjoys both length and girth; some people prefer longer but slimmer toys, and this is an ideal design for those people.

By the way: the length, softness, and texturing of this toy also make it amazing for grinding on, if that’s something you’re into. There’s never just one way to use a toy and there’s certainly no right or wrong way. This was one additional use I found for the Meo’s Ridge dildo.

Let’s Talk About This Toy’s Size and Softness

The size of the Meo’s Ridge dragon dildo is quite something. Despite being only the second of four sizes, the Meo’s Ridge in Small is literally the length of my forearm! I can’t imagine any universe in which I could insert it all or would even want to try. But that’s fine; bodies are different and preferences are different.

You don’t need to insert the entire length of an extra-long dildo like this to enjoy it. If you only ever use the first two or three inches, or even less than that, as long as you’re having fun nothing else matters. Sex toys aren’t supposed to be a challenge unless the challenge turns you on!

I was a little surprised by just how floppy and flexible the Meo’s Ridge dildo is. When I stand it up on the suction cup, it completely flops over. The advantage of this is that the softness and flexibility makes it super comfortable to insert. You can bend it virtually any way you like and the silicone has tonnes of give to it. You can also flex the toy once it’s inside you to target your G-spot or any other internal spot you’re looking to stimulate.

The downside is that it can make initial insertion a little tricky. I found that if I don’t get the angle exactly right, the tip of the toy bends away from my body when I apply pressure to insert it.

It has a suction cup, which theoretically makes it hands-free and harness-compatible. In reality, though, the Meo’s Ridge isn’t likely to be a suitable toy for either of those activities due to its length and floppiness. It is anal-safe if that’s your thing. However, even the medium firmness is soft enough that I imagine anal penetration would be tricky for most users.

Meo’s Ridge Dragon Dildo Review: Verdict

If you’re looking for a soft extra-long dildo that isn’t also extremely girthy, the Meo’s Ridge is a great choice. Its dragon dildo aesthetic is unique and detailed, and sure to appeal to fantasy toy lovers. I love the textured surface, the tapered design, and the slimline shaft in particular.

One quick pro tip: if you get this toy, I’d really recommend choosing the “hard” firmness level unless you’re intentionally looking for something very soft and floppy.

As recently as a couple of years ago, readers would ask me for recommendations for giant toys that didn’t cost hundreds of dollars and I would be at a loss on where to send them. Historically, the vast majority of the extra large toys on the market were made of unsafe or porous materials such as rubber, PVC, or TPE/TPR. Those that were made of silicone tended to be tremendously expensive. Fortunately, things are changing and you can now get a body-safe, extra large fantasy dildo without breaking the bank. Wildolo’s range of silicone monster dildos includes an array of the weird, wonderful, bizarre, and ultra-colourful for all your fantasy fucking needs. They kindly sent me this extra large silicon ridged fantasy dildo from their collection to test and review.

About the Wildolo Large Ridged Silicone Fantasy Dildo

This dildo is made of body-safe matte silicone (more on the texture below) in a green, blue and purple marbled effect, and features a tapering shaft with a series of wavy ridges that get progressively wider from top to bottom. As it is single-density silicone, the entire shaft has the same density all the way through (i.e. there is no firm “core” and soft outer layer.)

It comes in two sizes, and I received the medium, which measures 10.49″ in length (8.98″ insertable) and weighs in at a hefty 0.95kg or just over 2lb. Its diameter tapers from a fairly average 1.35″ at the top, down to 2.87″ at the bottom. Yes: this toy is fucking huge. There’s also a larger version, which measures an enormous 14.76″ in total length and over 4″ in diameter at the widest point.

What I Liked About This Toy

The Wildolo Large Ridged Silicone Fantasy Dildo is a relatively budget-friendly option in the scheme of body-safe and extra large fantasy toys, retailing for $75 or around £61.50. It also has a number of great features to recommend it.

Namely:

The pictures don’t really do justice to how pretty the shimmery, glittery swirls of green, blue and purple are. When it catches the light, the effect is almost irridescent.
Speaking of its physical appearance, the fantasy aesthetic – such that it is – is fairly subtle. If you’re looking for a way to ease into fantasy toys without going straight for something that looks like a tentacle or an alien or a killer plant from outer space, this is a great place to start.
I like the tapered design. When using larger toys, it’s really important to build up slowly to ensure a safe, pain-free, and pleasurable experience. Tapered toys build this in, allowing you to gradually increase the size to the point that you feel comfortable.
The textured tip is excellent for additional G-spot stimulation. Presumably it would also work well for a prostate for much the same reason.
This toy is surprisingly flexible for its size. When it comes to very large toys, particularly for those who are newer to them, some flexibility can make all the difference in ensuring comfortable insertion.

The firm, dense silicone will be great for anyone who likes plenty of intensity and not too much squish for their insertable toys.
The suction cup is reasonably strong, particularly given the size of the toy. The large surface area of the suction cup helps to hold the toy firmly to a surface for as long as you want it to stay there.
The extra large base means it is anal-safe. However, I feel duty-bound to advise you to proceed extremely carefully if you’re thinking of inserting anything of this size anally.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

The finish on the Wildolo Large Silicone Fantasy Dildo is very matte. This means that it feels pretty grabby, which can be a downside especially for a toy this large. You’ll need to add lube, lube, and yet more lube for this one. (That was true anyway, given the size, but the grabbyness of the silicone makes it even more essential.)

The sheer size of this toy does make it a challenge to hold and manipulate for long periods of time. Its weight is something you’ll want to be aware of if you suffer from hand or wrist pain (or just, like me, have annoyingly tiny hands.)

I’ve said before and I will say it again that I just don’t think I’m really the target market for extra large insertables. I look at them and my body doesn’t go “ooh,” it goes “hahaha nope!” Realistically, I can use the top third of this dildo, maybe the top half if I’m feeling really brave. This isn’t really a criticism of the product, just an acknowledgement that it’s not one I will be reaching for on a regular basis.

Even though I don’t think it’s particularly ideal for my body, the Wildolo Large Ridged Silicone Fantasy Dildo is a well-designed and body-safe toy at a good price for the quality. [Toy Review] Juliet Toys Vortex Large Anal Beads

What is the Juliet Toys Vortex?

The Vortex by Juliet Toys is a kind of combination between extra large anal beads and a long butt plug. It’s available in three sizes: small, medium, or large. I received the small, which measures 9.5″ in total length. Due to the nature of the toy, that’s basically all insertable length except for maybe a quarter inch of base. The three beads measure (in ascending order from smallest to largest) 1.4″, 1.6″, and 1.7″ in diameter.

Now, this is more than big enough for me. There is, frankly, no universe in which I would consider 9.5″ of insertable length to be “small.” My butt isn’t that brave, and super huge anal toys have never really been my thing. But they might be yours! If so, you might like the medium (which has a total length of 11.4″ and a widest bead diameter of 2.3″) or the large (total length of 13.2″, widest bead diameter of 2.7″.)

Yes, whichever way you look at it, this is a large toy.

The Vortex is made of 100% body-safe silicone. It begins in a narrow spiral shaft down from a tapered tip, then the lower portion is made up of the three “beads.” It ends in a flared base, which is an absolutely essential safety component for an anal toy. This base is also a suction cup.

This toy has no motor, so it’s easy to clean (the boiling method is what I recommend) and fine to use in the bath or shower, if you like.

What I Liked About the Vortex Extra Large Anal Beads

Once I got over my initial reaction to the Vortex extra large anal beads (“good lord this thing is enormous!”), I found that there are a lot of things I like about it. Namely:

It’s a really pretty colour! Specifically, an attractive burnt orange-gold shade. This is an unusual colour for sex toys and also kind of shimmers. I’m here for it. I really believe aesthetics matter for sex toys, so going that extra step to make something pretty will always impress me.
The silicone is fairly soft and really squishy.
I think, for people who enjoy challenging anal toys, this is an excellent design. It starts off relatively gently with the small head and the slim spiral tip, allowing you to get used to having something inside you before attempting the larger size of the beads.
Due to the slowly increasing size as you move further down the toy, it’s ideal for people who want to play with anal training or anal stretching. Going slowly is really key here, not just to ensure you have a good time but also to keep things safe.

It’s entirely possible to use just a part of the Vortex extra large anal beads, if you prefer. It lends itself well to exploring slowly, finding out what you like. Even if you end up deciding that super deep penetration or very girthy toys aren’t for you, the top portion of the toy is still entirely usable.
It’s very, very flexible. I can imagine this might be a downside for some users, but it will be a plus for many more including me. When it comes to larger toys, flexibility can help with insertion and comfort. It also allows for more flexibility in positioning. And, if you’re trying to target a particular spot (such as the prostate, if you have one), the flexibility can make that easier.
If you have a vagina, you can also use the Vortex as a vaginal toy. It’s great for G-spots for exactly the same reasons it’s great for prostates. And, if you prefer a slower warm-up or a slimmer toy for vaginal penetration, this is perfect for that. Remember: a toy that has been inside a butt should never go inside a vagina without first being sterilised. At an absolute minimum, put a condom over it.
The suction cup is seriously strong and stays in position well on any flat, firm surface.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

On a personal level, I think this toy is just too big for me to realistically use it as an anal toy with any kind of regularity. When I use butt toys at all, which really isn’t that often, I usually stick to smaller ones. But that’s purely a matter of my body’s preferences and I can’t find any significant criticisms of the Vortex as a product in general.

The Vortex is an excellent toy for its target audience: people who enjoy (or want to experiment with) long anal toys, extra large anal beads, or other kinds of large anal insertables. And, if you try it and find that’s not for you, there are also numerous other ways to enjoy it.

The Vortex is well-designed, well-made, body-safe, and versatile. What more could you want from a toy?

Please remember that if you’re doing any kind of anal play, adequate lubrication is essential. Always use more than you think you need, and reapply it regularly. For a silicone toy, I recommend a good water-based lube.

[Toy Review] Mr Hankey’s Toys Monster Dildo

I don’t think I (or my vagina) was feeling particularly brave when I ordered the Mr Hankey’s Monster Dildo from the website, because I chose the smallest of four available sizes. Even so, I took it out of the box and my immediate reaction was “wow, this thing is huge!”

As with the Mr Hankey’s Perfect Penis, I cannot get my entire hand around this toy’s shaft.

So how did I get on with this monster of a realistic dildo? This is the third in my series of reviews for Mr Hankey’s Toys, who are also one of my site sponsors, winner of tonnes of adult industry awards, and all-round purveyors of stellar sex toys in both the fantasy and realistic categories.

Mr Hankey’s Toys Monster Dildo

The Mr Hankey’s Toys Monster Dildo in size medium measures 9.13″ in total length, 7″ in insertable length, and 2.46″ in diameter at the widest point. Again: this is the smallest size! The remaining sizes measure 11.38″, 13.5″, and 15.75″ in total length respectively, with corresponding girth increases. If you want serious size and lots of it, you’ve come to the right place.

This toy is made of body-safe silicone and available in an array of colours from skin tones to brights, metallics, and even UV-reactive shades. You can also choose different firmness levels, from very soft to extra firm, and add a vac-u-lock hole if you wish.

In terms of firmness, 75% firmness or medium will suit most users. 75% firm is supposed to resemble a bio-cock that is 75-80% erect, and many Mr Hankey’s customers report that it feels the most lifelike of the options. Medium is closer in firmness to a fully erect penis.

What I Liked About the Monster Dildo

I found this toy challenging to use. And that’s fine—sometimes a challenge can be fun! I do prefer girth over length (hitting my cervix = ow, bad pain!) though so I’d be more inclined to reach for a girthy toy like this one if I was in the mood for a large insertable. Overall, the girthy design is excellent for those who enjoy the sensation of a stretch, but don’t desire or enjoy excessive length.

This one takes a lot of warm-up and lube for me to use it comfortably. And even then, as I said, I’d describe the experience as challenging and seriously, seriously intense.

Let’s look at some of the specific features of the Monster Dildo that I enjoyed.

I really love the shade of purple and the shimmery effect from the metallic colourway.
This is a highly realistic toy, down to the skin texturing of the balls and the detailing around the head and foreskin. It was apparently life-cast from a real penis owned by a person simply known as “The Jackpot.”
At least at this size, it stands up on its own due to the size of the base. If you want to use the toy hands-free, this makes it easier to do so as you can simply put it on a firm surface and then “ride” it.
The gentle curve is ideal for targeting your G-spot or prostate. When I’m able to get the toy inside me, it presses firmly against my G-spot in a very enjoyable way.
At the firmness level I chose (75% soft or the second softest), it’s fairly squishy and flexible. For a toy of this size, that’s going to be essential for a lot of users. If you like a lot of flex, go softer. If you prefer more rigid toys, go firmer.
The large base makes it anal-safe, if that’s your thing. There was no universe in which this thing was going in my butt, but it can safely go in yours if you’d like. (Obligatory disclaimer: if you’re putting something of this size in your butt, go S L O W L Y. Use even more lube than you think you need. To be fair, that actually applies to vaginal use as well, but the butt isn’t self-lubricating so you’ll need to be even more careful.)

Anything I Didn’t Like?

Personally, I don’t like the pronounced ridge on the underside of the Monster Dildo’s shaft. Even with plenty of lubrication, I consistently found it made insertion uncomfortable. Once the toy was fully inserted, I could still feel the ridge in a way that was pretty distracting.

Like the other Mr Hankey’s Toys I’ve tried, the silicone is very matte. I would have preferred a smoother silicone for a toy of this size. With that said, a smoother silicone would lessen the realistic effect of the toy’s appearance, so it’s a trade-off. As you can probably see in the photos, it also gathers lint and dust.

The texturing can make the Monster Dildo take a little longer to clean. This isn’t really a problem, just something to be aware of. You’ll want to make sure you’ve got all bodily fluids and lube out of the little creases.

Due to its size, the Monster Dildo is also pretty heavy. It’s just about manageable at this size but I have to imagine that the larger versions could be quite difficult to hold and manipulate in use.

Verdict

Honestly, the final analysis is that even in the smallest size this toy is bordering on too large for me. And that’s fine—I am not really the target market for very large toys. But you might be, and this is an excellent choice if so! So many large toys are not body-safe, so it is nice to have somewhere to point my readers for oversized toys that are also safe and well-made.

And make no mistake, this is a beautifully designed toy. The attention to detail is excellent and the array of colours and effects on offer means that you can truly make it your own.

I like having this in my collection but I don’t think it will be going in my body very often. I can enjoy it occasionally, but it’s going to be a once-in-a-while thing and probably revolve around enjoying the challenge as part of a kink dynamic.

The Nothosaur Toys ALLA is a tentacle dildo based on sources such as the Kraken sea monster mythology and the Cthulhu science fiction/horror stories. And it is literally a giant tentacle. It features a large heavy base and two rows of suckers along a flexible shaft. The long shaft tapers gently to a point.

The ALLA is available in several colourways. I chose the light pinkish-purple with blue accents known as “Redemption”, which is super pretty. For a small additional cost, you can also request a custom colourway of your choice.

The Nothosaur ALLA is available in six sizes, ranging from XS (11.8″ in total length) up to “Legendary” (41″ in total length.) Pay close attention to the size chart when you’re ordering, because if you’re not careful you’ll end up with something a lot bigger than you expected! I ordered the ALLA in a medium, which measures 22″ in total length and 1.1″ in diameter towards the top of the tentacle. The sheer idea of one that’s almost twice as large again makes my eyes water, but you might be a lot braver than me!

Nothosaur ALLA Review: What I Liked

Nothosaur Toys are gaining a great reputation in the world of fantasy sex toys, and it’s easy to see why. The ALLA is the first of their products I have tried, and there are plenty of things about it that I really like. Namely:

The Nothosaur Toys ALLA is a beautifully designed dildo. If you have a tentacle kink, I don’t think you could do much better! The detailing is impressive and the use of the two silicone colours adds both depth and an ethereal, otherworldly quality which can be tremendously appealing to lovers of fantasy toys. The Nothosaur dragon insignia is stamped into the base.
The silicone is body-safe and looks and feels to be of a high quality. So many fantasy toys are still being made from unsafe jelly materials or porous TPE/TPR. It’s great to see more and more silicone options coming onto the market. The ALLA’s silicone is very matte, and the suckers can be a little grabby, so using plenty of water-based lube is essential.
“Depth play” and “depth training” – gradually training your body to take longer toys safely and comfortably, either vaginally or anally – isn’t my thing as I find it far more painful than pleasurable. However, it is a fairly popular kink and relatively few body-safe toy options for this purpose have been available. The ALLA, with its softness and long, tapered body, is perfect for those who want to focus on depth of penetration in their play.

That texture! Oh my goodness, that texture! The Nothosaur ALLA’s suckers provide incredible additional stimulation when you use it internally. And there’s another possibility, too: repurposing the ALLA as a grinding toy for clitoral play. Seriously, try it and thank me later.
Thanks to the large base and lengthy shaft, the ALLA is anal-safe if that’s your thing.
Its suction cup holds it in place well despite its large size and significant weight. Some reviewers have commented that they can hang the entire toy from the ceiling with the suction cup!
The toy arrived quickly, and was discreetly packaged with no indication of what was inside.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

When I tried to use it for (presumably) its intended purpose of penetration, I found the Nothosaur ALLA to be slightly too floppy and flexible to be truly satisfying. I was able to insert it with plenty of lubrication and warm-up, but it took a few attempts because it kept bending away from my body when I applied pressure rather than slipping inside. If you enjoy very soft, flexible and gentle toys, this might be a good thing for you. For me, though, I found I wanted a little more rigidity.

I ordered the ALLA in medium firmness (the firmer of the two available options, the other being “soft.”) So keep this in mind if you’re looking for a firmer penetrative toy. I’m actually not convinced I’d be able to use it anally for this reason. All bodies are different, though, so your mileage may vary.

Due to its design, the ALLA can also be a bit of a pain to clean. All those little suckers can harbour bodily fluids, which can breed bacteria if not properly cleaned. For that reason, I really recommend boil-sterilising your toy after each use to ensure that it is completely clean. It just has too many creases and crevices for me to feel confident recommending any other method.

Nothosaur ALLA Review: Verdict

The ALLA is totally different from anything else in my collection, and I kind of love it. I am unlikely to use it as a penetrative toy again (as I said, it’s a little too flexible for me and ultra lengthy toys aren’t really my thing.) However, I will definitely be making plenty of use of the clitoral stimulation possibilities afforded by all those fabulous little suckers!

If you’re looking for a fantasy-style depth trainer or just have a kink for tentacles, you’ll love this toy.

In my first Mr Hankey’s Toys review last month, I noted that I was kinda blown away by the sheer size of the toy in front of me. That theme continues in this, the second of three Mr Hankey’s reviews. Today, we’re looking at this glorious unicorn horn dildo.

When the Mr Hankey’s Toys gave me pretty much free rein (heh) to pick a selection of toys from their site, I couldn’t possibly resist this one. I mean, just look at it!

Mr Hankey’s Toys Unicorn Dildo

The Mr Hankey’s Toys Unicorn Dildo is available in four sizes, ranging in total length from 12″ up to 18.38″, in insertable length from 7″ up to 12″, and in diameter at the widest insertable point from 1.51″ up to 2.7″. I requested the second smallest size (“Medium”), which measures 14″ in overall length, 8″ in insertable length, and 1.83″ in diameter at the widest insertable point. Once the decorative base is factored in, this is a large toy.

This toy is made of 100% body-safe silicone.

It is also available in four firmness levels: 40% soft (the softest), 75% soft, medium firm, and extra firm. You can get it in any of 24 different colourways, including a white/gold two tone. I requested bubblegum pink because I was feeling extra femme that day and it seemed somehow appropriate for this toy. There’s also the option to add a vac-u-lock hole.

Things I Like About the Mr Hankey’s Toys Unicorn Horn Dildo

I mean, the entire design of this toy is just so whimsical and delightful. When you’ve tested and reviewed as many sex toys as I have, one vaguely penis-shaped piece of silicone starts to blend into the next. (Figuratively. Silicone toys do not melt together in storage and I wish this stupid myth would die already. But that’s a rant for another day.)

But a dildo that looks like a unicorn horn? Yeah, that’s new and novel. The detailing is impressive and gives a fun and playful feel that makes me smile every time I see its silly face and ginormous horn on my desk, where it is currently functioning as a particularly “extra” paperweight.

I chose the 75% soft option, which is the second softest. In this shape, that means the horn part is very squishy, bendy, and flexible. According to the company, this softness level mimics a bio-cock at 75-80% of full erection, but on this product it definitely seems softer and more flexible than that. If you want anything other than serious squish and flex, go for one of the firmer options. If, like me, you tend to prefer less intense insertable toys, the 75% soft is a great choice.

I also like the gently tapered design a lot. Coupled with the flex, this makes it ideal for targeted but not-too-intense G-spot stimulation.

The texturing of the horn is lovely, too. A lot of textured insertable toys are too much for me. They can be so intense that they become uncomfortable or even painful. The Unicorn Dildo, though, has a subtle rippling, twisted texture that is pronounced enough to be felt but also gentle.

Thanks to the bottom-heavy design, the Unicorn Dildo stands on its own. The company does warn that not all firmness levels and sizes will necessarily do this, though, so be aware of that if this feature is important to you. It does mean that putting it down on a firm surface and using it hands-free is potentially an option for users who are so inclined.

This large base also means that the Unicorn Dildo is totally anal-safe, if that’s your thing.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

As with the Perfect Penis dildo I reviewed last month, my only real complaint with the Unicorn Horn dildo is that it’s heavy. The large and solid base really adds some weight and heft to this toy, meaning that it can be a challenge to lift and manipulate if you struggle with holding heavy objects.

The silicone is perhaps a little more matte than I would ideally prefer, which means it can be quite grabby. For large toys like this one, that’s very noticeable. However, it’s nothing that you can’t solve with plenty of water-based lube. It also picks up quite a lot of lint and dust in storage, so you’ll want to give it a quick wash or wipe before each use.

Due to the grooves and ridges of the detailed design, I recommend boil-sterilising your Unicorn Dildo to ensure that it’s not harbouring any bacteria in those hard-to-clean areas.

Otherwise? No complaints at all.

Verdict

I love this product! Even in the second smallest size, it’s probably a little too large and hefty for me to actually use it super often, though it’ll definitely get the occasional outing for its intended purpose. It is playful and unique, the insertable part is genuinely well-designed, and when I’m not using it I’ll probably keep it on display anyway because it makes a fun ornament in the sex-positive den of chaos that is my office.

I love that Mr Hankey’s Toys are offering very large dildos made exclusively of body-safe materials. I often receive requests for large toy recommendations. Unfortunately, many of the manufacturers making them are still using unsafe and porous materials. Mr Hankey’s Toys products aren’t cheap, but you’ll get some serious quality for your money. With a little care, one of these toys could last years if not decades.
