[Toy Review] Satisfyer Sweet Treat Spinnator

Sometimes I feel like I’ve tried every variation of sex toy under the sun. Then something comes along that makes me go “ooh, I’ve never seen one of those before!” The Satisfyer Sweet Treat/Spinnator was one such toy. Naturally, I had to request it to try out.

It’s also been a long time – around three years! – since I last tested and reviewed a Satisfyer toy. Let’s find out how this one fared, shall we?

What is the Satisfyer Sweet Treat Spinnator?

Satisfyer Sweet Treat Satisfyer Spinnator

The Satisfyer Sweet Treat, AKA the Satisfyer Spinnator, is a cute little clitoral sex toy shaped like an ice cream cone with a swirl of ice cream. It is made of silicone with ABS plastic accents. Instead of vibrating, the head of the toy rotates so that the soft silicone swirls lap against the clitoris and vulva. (You could also, of course, use it on different body parts such as the nipples, penis, or balls.)

The Sweet Treat is IPX7 waterproof – submersible in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes – so you can safely use it in the bath or shower. It is also USB rechargeable.

This toy comes in three colourways: white, black, or brown-and-pink (this last one looks the most like an actual ice-cream cone!)

Things I Like About the Satisfyer Sweet Treat Spinnator

Once I got over the frankly horrible noise it made when I turned it on (see below for more on that!), I actually found a lot of things to like in the Satisfyer Sweet Treat.

Satisfyer Sweet Treat AKA Satisfyer Spinnator

  • The body-safe silicone is super soft and flexible. This means it is gentle on the sensitive clitoris and – unlike some licking/flickering/rotating toys I could mention – will not feel like being repeatedly and painfully poked in the clit.
  • It feels good. Which, you know, is sort of the point of a sex toy. It’s unlikely to make me orgasm any time soon – see the next section! – but it does feel pleasurable. I like this one when I want to tease myself or a partner with very gentle, feather-light stimulation.
  • Thanks to its small size it is portable, travel-friendly, and fits comfortably in my hand during use. One review I read said that you’d never guess it was a sex toy at first glance, which I think is a stretch to be honest. But if you’re concerned about discretion, it is at least less obvious than a realistic dildo or giant wand vibrator.
  • The buttons are raised, making them easy to feel for and press without looking. They are also easy to press.
  • There are an impressive 15 speed and pattern settings and the controls are dual-directional, meaning you can scroll up or down through settings as you choose.
  • It comes with an industry-leading 15 year warranty. Satisfyer builds their toys to last and wants you to know it. Basically, if you look after this product properly it can last you for many, many years.
  • Its aesthetic is silly and playful.

A quick FYI before we move onto the cons list: you really need plenty of lubrication with this one. Even though it’s very soft, this toy is not comfortable to use if you’re not sufficiently wet. (But clean your hands after you apply the lube, or the little toy will just slip out of them!)

Things I Don’t Like About the Satisfyer Sweet Treat Spinnator

There were also a few things I did not like so much about the Satisfyer Sweet Treat.

  • The noise. Why is it that most rotating or thrusting toys make exactly the same horrible, high-pitched whine? It makes the toy far less pleasant to use because I’m in auditory hell by the time I’ve been using it for a few minutes.
  • This is a very, very gentle toy. Now that isn’t necessarily a problem, of course. Some people enjoy very light stimulation, and this toy might be a great option for those who find traditional vibrators too intense. I even enjoy light stimulation sometimes. However, the Sweet Treat is so gentle that even if I’m very aroused, it’s unlikely to ever get me off. You really cannot apply any significant pressure at all in use, or it will simply stop spinning.
  • It’s an absolute nightmare to clean. Lint, dust, and bodily fluids get trapped between all the little folds, meaning that you need to clean it really thoroughly not only between uses, but also when it’s been sitting in storage as well. The white silicone also shows up every speck of dust, which can look quite unsightly.
  • It took over 3 hours to charge and I only got around an hour of use time out of that. This is a pretty poor charge-time-to-running-time ratio.

Verdict

If you like very gentle, soft and flickery clitoral toys, the Satisfyer Sweet Treat could be a great choice for you. If you have tried vibrating toys and suction toys and your clit is looking for something a bit diffferent, this is certainly a change of pace! But if you need any kind of pressure or significant intensity to enjoy yourself, skip this one.

I’ll likely use it once in a while for a gentle warm-up or tease, but it won’t be something I reach for when I want to just have an orgasm and get on with my day.

The Satisfyer Sweet Treat retails for a pretty reasonable £41.95 at full price. It is available from Babeland and Good Vibes.

[Toy Review] Satisfyer Wand-er Woman

Satisfyer started out making pressure wave toys, bringing products like the excellent Satisfyer Pro 2 and the famously adorable Pro Penguin to market. After that, they branched out into vibrators, some of which I loved and some of which were just okay. So I suppose it was inevitable they’d make a wand eventually.

This week I received the Satisfyer Wand-er Woman to try out.

Wand-erful First Impressions?

The Wand-er Woman arrived discreetly in plain packaging and inside, the toy was presented in an attractive blue/pink/purple box with information about the toy and line drawings of nude women. I have to say that I don’t like this product’s name. It’s a cute pun, sure, but it’s really unnecessarily gendered since wand vibrators are for everyone.

Satisfyer Wand-er Woman wand vibrator

My other first impression of the Satisfyer Wand-er Woman is that it’s LARGE. Measuring 34cm (13.4″) in length and weighing in at 647g, this is not a small toy. I’m not necessarily opposed to large toys, but they can be challenging to hold and manipulate and are inaccessible for some people. I actually found the thickness of the Wand-er Woman’s handle to be more of a problem than its weight alone. I have fairly small hands, but the thickness of this toy’s handle combined with its weight made it challenging to hold for long enough to have a decent play session with it.

Woman holding magic wand vibrator by Satisfyer

The Wand-er Woman is available in three colourways: black, white, or purple. I received the white version, which has lilac buttons and a silver decorative bad at the top of the handle. The Wand-er Woman is rechargeable via the included cable, and completely waterproof. The body and head are coated in soft, body-safe matte silicone and the silicone cap is removeable from the head, which allows for easier cleaning.

In Use

The Wand-er Woman boasts ten vibration settings (constant vibration plus 9 patterns) and 5 speeds, for an impressive total of 50 possible combinations. The three-button interface is simple and intuitive, and the buttons are easy to press. I appreciated being able to scroll through the speeds by simply holding the plus or minus buttons down, without needing to press repeatedly. The Wand-er Woman’s neck has a little flex, which is useful for positioning.

Satisfyer Wand-er Woman magic wand vibrator buttons

The Wand-er Woman is not quite as powerful, nor as rumbly, as many of the corded wands in my collection. It doesn’t deliver the eyeball-shaking, whole-room-rattling intensity of some of my all-time faves. It also doesn’t quite match up in terms of deep, penetrating rumbles.

Satisfyer Wand-er Woman wand vibrator

That’s not to say it isn’t powerful, though! All but the most discerning Power Royalty will still be able to get plenty of pleasure out of this toy. It’s not exactly buzzy, either, just… somewhere closer to the centre of the buzz/rumble spectrum. I need the highest setting to get off, but not everyone’s clit is as demanding as mine. I also don’t particularly care for patterns – I tried them all for the sake of being thorough, and because I keep hoping to meet a vibration pattern that changes my mind about vibration patterns, though I haven’t yet.

The cordless design is useful, as I don’t always wand power cords trailing across my bedroom (and, in environments like play parties, there isn’t always an outlet available). The battery life is good. Noise-wise, it’s fine. Interestingly, I’ve seen some users complain of their Wand-er Woman being excessively loud, but mine just makes a persistent hum at the kind of volume you’d expect for a toy at this power level. It’s not silent but it doesn’t sound like a power tool, either.

Verdict

One of the key selling points of the Satisfyer Wand-er Woman is its relatively affordable price point. Retailing for £46.95 at full price, it’s less than half the price of many of its main competitors. If you’re willing to cope with the downsides, such as the toy’s weight and the width of the handle, and you’re not expecting the same power you’d get from a pricy corded toy, it’s a perfectly fine option. Folks on a budget, or beginners wanting to try out wands without splashing out £100 or more immediately, might find it’s perfectly adequate for their needs.

I don’t think I’ll be reaching for it regularly, but I’m glad it exists!

You can purchase the Wand-er Woman from Good Vibes or Babeland.

[Toy Review] Satisfyer Balls Kegel Exercisers

What are kegel balls and what are they used for?

Kegel balls, sometimes called Ben-wa balls, pleasure balls, or kegel exercisers, are duos or trios of small weighted balls that are inserted into the vagina. Some vibrate, others do not. Supposedly, they help the person to perform kegel exercises more effectively and with better results. There are also claims that they improve sexual pleasure over time, even making it easier to reach orgasm. But there is little actual scientific evidence for any of this.

My hand holding a set of red Satisfyer kegel balls

What the science says

“The potential benefits of doing Kegel exercises on a regular basis include: greater ease in achieving orgasm, increased intensity of orgasm, increased lubrication, heightened control over sensation during penetration, and protection against urinary incontinence and bladder prolapse.” (Bartlik et al, 2010)

When it comes to the difference between performing kegel exercises with and without balls or similar devices, though, there’s less evidence.

One 2013 study examined the effect of “vaginal spheres” (kegel exercisers) in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence and found a statistically significant difference in the improvement shown by women who used the spheres vs those who performed kegel exercises without.

A different study, however, used “weighted vaginal cones” to treat urinary incontinence, and found that “there was little evidence of difference for a subjective cure between cones and pelvic floor muscle training” (Herbison & Dean, 2013.)

So the short answer is that there is limited evidence on one of the claims commonly made about kegel exercisers, and virtually no evidence one way or the other for any of the other claims. Anecdotally, balls may help by making the user more likely to actually do their exercises, rather than making the exercises more effective by themselves – but this is little more than speculation. The literature simply doesn’t exist yet.

(Can some scientists get on this please?)

So why would I want kegel balls?

I deliberated for ages on whether to categorise this review under “Sex Toys” or “Sexual Health Products,” but eventually decided on the former. Dubiously-evidenced medical claims aside, the purpose of kegel balls is simple: they can feel really good!

Walking or moving around with something inside you can feel amazing if you’re a person who enjoys vaginal penetration. I find that on the occasions I’ve worn kegel balls for any length of time, I tend to be at a constant level of arousal for however long they’re in. Wearing kegel balls can also be fun as part of a power exchange game, if you’re into that. I definitely find it hot when my Dom instructs me to go out with my cunt full.

Basically, treat kegel ball as a sex toy and not as a medical device, and you’re more likely to have fun!

So how do the Satisfyer balls measure up?

The Satisfyer Balls come in sets of three, which get progressively heavier. Each of the pairs of balls is a different colour (blue, pink and red) and they are made of silky smooth, soft and body-safe silicone.

Official product image of the Satisfyer Kegel Balls

Each of the balls have gentle ridges to them, which provide delicious internal stimulation.

The balls themselves and the joins between them feel well-made and sturdy. However, the “handle” loops are ridiculously thin and flimsy! They stretch when pulled, making them ineffective for helping to remove the balls from the vagina, and though mine have held out so far I don’t see them lasting very long.

With that said, these sets are inexpensive and good value so if you’re new to using kegel balls and just want to try, they’re not a bad place to start. You can buy them from The Pleasure Garden for £39.99.

Pro tips for using kegel balls safely and pleasurably

  • Remember to use plenty of lube.
  • Start slowly – keep the balls in for just 10 or 15 minutes at first. You can build up from there.
  • Give your body a break every few hours at least, never sleep with your kegel balls in, and take them out immediately if you experience any pain.
  • Boil-sterilise your kegel balls between uses.
  • If you like, try keeping your kegel balls in while you use a clitoral vibrator or do anal play. The dual stimulation can be fun!

[Toy Review] Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine

I, along with many other sex bloggers, recently received a package of seven sex toys from Satisfyer which included the Yummy Sunshine vibrator

. This brand, known primarily for suction-based toys, is now making vibrators too. I gave most of them away to friends, but decided to keep and try out this one: the Yummy Sunshine.

Unfortunately, I have to acknowledge that many of the new Satisfyer products are pretty blatant rip-offs of Fun Factory designs, right down to the loop handles. This happens a lot in the sex toy industry (and Satisfyer is plenty guilty of it, having started life riding on the suction toy coat-tails of Womanizer,) but that doesn’t make it acceptable. So I’m immediately predisposed to dislike this toy from that perspective.

Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine: Details

The Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine vibrator on a white sheet

The Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine is made of bright yellow silicone with a plastic handle. Sex toys aimed at people with vulvas tend to come in a small range of colours, with pink, purple, and red reigning. There’s nothing wrong with any of these shades, of course, but it’s nice to see something a little different. One of the reasons I gravitated to the Yummy Sunshine was simply that I’ve rarely seen a yellow sex toy.

The Yummy Sunshine is an internal vibrator measuring 8.75″ in total length, 6″ in insertable length, and 1.5″ in diameter at the widest point. Given the size, it’s pretty lightweight. It has a lightly ribbed shaft and a gentle curve.

The Yummy Sunshine vibrator on a black pillow

This toy is USB rechargeable via a magnetic charging pin. It’s also waterproof.

In Use

The Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine has 6 speeds, 6 patterns, and a straightforward three-button interface. Though the buttons are well-placed and easy to press, the lower button is the “up” setting and the upper button is the “down” setting for some reason, which is completely counter-intuitive. When it comes to holding this toy, I like the loop handle but someone with larger hands might find it more difficult to use as the loop is pretty small.

The control panel on the Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine vibrator

In use, my overwhelming impression of this toy was “blah.” It’s fine but I’d be unlikely to reach for it by preference.

The vibrations are mediocre, neither rumbly nor powerful enough to be impressive. I can orgasm with the Yummy Sunshine if I set my mind to it, but it’s one of those toys where the orgasm almost feels like more trouble than it was worth.

I will say that I like this toy’s shape and texture. The curve is just right for targeted G-spot stimulation, and the soft silicone has a nice flexibility that allows for comfortable positioning. I also like using the ridges and ripples along the shaft externally on my vulva and clit.

Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine: Verdict

I didn’t hate this toy so much I wanted to throw it across the room, but I was left with the overwhelming impression of something that’s just barely okay. It gets the job done, just about, but there’s nothing great or special about it. Again, it’s also a blatantly stolen design and nowhere near as good as the Fun Factory products it mimics. Overall, you can do better for your money.

You can purchase the Yummy Sunshine for $49.99 from SheVibe or £63 from Sex Toys UK.

[Toy Review] Satisfyer Multifun

Update 23/04/25: the Satisfyer Multifun appears, mercifully for genitals everywhere, to no longer be available. I normally remove content about defunct and obsolete products, but this Satisfyer Multifun review is staying because I think it’s worth showing you all what truly terrible sex toy design looks like.

It’s here, folks. The winner of the not-so-coveted title of “the worst designed sex toy I have ever had the misfortune of putting anywhere near my genitals.”

I hate being snarky about toys. I really do. I always try to find something positive to say. But in this case, I just… I can’t.

Satisfyer Multifun Review: Basic Details

The Satisfyer Multifun, a pink u-shaped vibrator
First impression: what is this even for?

Satisfyer is known for its suction-based toys such as the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation and Satisfyer Pro Penguin, many of which have been good-to-excellent. That’s why I was a little surprised that this offering is such an absolute, irredeemable mess.

The Satisfyer Multifun is a U-shaped toy with two prongs that come almost together at the top. There are two very slight variations between the Multifun 1 and 2: the Multifun 1 is blue and the Multifun 2 is pink, and the ends of the prongs curve in very slightly different ways on each. Again, the difference is tiny. Calling them two different products is, at best, a stretch.

The Multifun contains three motors, one in each of the prongs (which are operated together with a single button) and one in the base (operated separately with a second button). The toy is about 5 inches long in total, 3.5″ being the prongs and 1.5″ the base.

This toy is waterproof and USB rechargeable.

Safe Isn’t Enough

When I ranted to Mr C&K about how terrible the Satisfyer Multifun is, he pointed out that it’s at least a slight improvement on many terrible sex toys in that it is body-safe. And yes, it is. The entire body of the toy is made of silicone, which is the gold standard for body-safe sex toy materials.

The Satisfyer Multifun, a pink u-shaped vibrator

But, as I explained to him, at this point I don’t see “body safe” as enough. I see it as a bare fucking minimum. At this point in my career, “this toy is body safe” is up there with “this food didn’t give me food poisoning.” It’s not a glowing recommendation, it’s a basic expectation.

So yes. This toy is body-safe. Can I say anything else positive about it? I’m honestly really struggling.

Satisfyer Multifun Review: Multi-NoFunWhatsoever

On the back of the Multifun box, Satisfyer has helpfully (and I use the word “helpfully” in the loosest possible sense) included diagrams of different ways to use this toy on both a vulva and a penis. Being the dutiful and diligent toy testers that we are, we tried all of them (except the “hang it off your balls” one, because even Mr C&K’s tolerance for doing weird shit to his genitals for the benefit of my readers has its limits.)

The Satisfyer Multifun, a pink u-shaped vibrator, hanging on a purple suction cup dildo stuck to a wall.
Feat. our shower wall and the Blush Ruse Jammy silicone dildo.

All 12 of Satisfyer’s suggestions were… equally terrible? Similarly nonsensical?

Pinching it around my clit was mildly painful for the two seconds it stayed on, and then merely annoying as it kept slipping off. Trying to stick it inside me made absolutely no sense whatsoever as it’s entirely the wrong shape to do anything but poke me annoyingly in the vaginal walls. Trying to get it to hang off my nipple like a nipple clamp was merely hilarious (and, needless to say, a complete failure).

Hanging it around Mr C&K’s penis in various configurations produced no greater reaction than “well… that’s kind of in the way.”

Even using it as a straightforward clitoral vibrator didn’t work, because the vibrations were so weak and buzzy that I literally Did Not Feel A Fucking Thing.

Texting a fellow sex blogger friend about this (mis)adventure, I described the Multifun’s vibrations as “akin to a bee buzzing away on my clit. Not even a hive of bees. Just one.”

A Non-Exhaustive List of Other Things I Hate About This Toy

  • The sound. Good God, the sound. This thing doesn’t just buzz, it whines.
  • The buttons. They’re small, fiddly, and hard to press.
  • The ridiculously gendered marketing. The Satisfyer Multifun proudly proclaims to be “for men, women and couples” (ah yes, the three genders?) There are so many better ways to market that your product is suitable for different types of bodies. The diagrams of possible ways to use it with different genital configurations is more than enough (or would be, if any of them made an iota of sense.) And literally anything can be a toy for couples if you use it with a partner. As if this wasn’t bad enough, it comes in exactly two colours: baby blue (Multifun 1) and pastel pink (Multifun 2.) You know, conveniently colour-coded in case you don’t know which one is for you.

Satisfyer Multifun Review: Not Satisfying, Zero Fun, Thanks I Hate It

I hate this toy. I hate it with a burning passion that surprises me. I have never hated a sex toy this much. No, not even the stupid vibrating jelly cockrings like the ones you get out of pub toilet vending machines (is that still a thing or am I showing my age there?) At least we knew those were going to be terrible, and at least they didn’t have a nearly $50 price tag).

I implore you, do not buy this toy. Your genitals deserve better. For powerful clitoral stimulation, get the We-Vibe Tango X. For a decent vibrating cock ring, get the Hot Octopuss Atom. For a great toy to wear during penetrative sex, get the We-Vibe Sync or Chorus. And for your nipples, even a fucking vibrating bra is a better pick than this nonsense.

Satisfyer: what the fuck is this? Please do better. And for the love of God, please test your products on actual human genitals before you mass produce them.

[Toy Review] Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation

Every time I review or indeed use a Satisfyer toy now, I end up with “Satisfied” from Hamilton going around in my head. Of course, this means I really want a musical theatre parody about sex toys. Anyone want to write this for/with me? In the meantime, it’s time for a Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation review.

The first time I tried to write a Satisfyer Pro 2 review, I couldn’t understand what all the fuss for this much-hyped toy was about. Looking back now, I’m not sure if I was just doing it wrong (for the value of “wrong” that means “in a way that didn’t work for my body”) or if the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is just that great of an improvement on the original. Either way, I tried the Pro 2 Next Generation and – spoiler alert! – I loved it!

Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation Review: Details

For anyone who isn’t familiar with Satisfyer’s suction toys, they utilise something called “pressure wave stimulation”. Essentially, you put the nozzle end around your clitoris and the stimulation comes from rapid air pulses rather than vibrations. Some vulva-owners say this type of stimulation can make them come in less than a minute. Others describe it as like having the orgasm forcibly ripped from their body.

Some people describe these toys as “oral sex simulators,” but I think that’s mostly marketing hype. I don’t think it’s truly possible to replicate the sensation of cunnilingus with a sex toy with the technology we have available at present.

The Satisfyer Pro 2, for a product review
Image: Satisfyer

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation has a plastic body and a silicone nozzle. It is a lovely rose gold colour and has the name of the company embossed on the body. The nozzle is detachable, making it easy to sterilise, and you can purchase more if you need to. This toy is rechargeable and waterproof.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation has a slightly bigger nozzle than the Satisfyer Pro Penguin, which I recently tested and which retails for a similar price-point. If you have a larger clitoris or like a slightly larger area stimulated, the Pro 2 Next Generation would be a better choice over the Penguin (whereas I’d recommend you choose the Penguin if you prefer a bit more of a pinpoint sensation.)

Satisfyer Pro 2 Review: In Use

It took a little practice to position the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation in the right spot for my body. If you’re new to suction toys, be prepared for a little experimentation. Once it’s in the right place, though, the soft and cushy silicone of the nozzle makes this a comfortable toy to use.

One of the most noticeable improvements to the Next Generation model over the original, in my view, is how much easier the buttons are to press! I found the buttons on the previous version frustratingly sticky and difficult to press. It’s also much quieter than the previous iteration. The other major improvement is the addition of dual-directional controls. This means you no longer have to cycle through all 11 speed settings to get back to the previous one.

Unlike vibrators, my go-to MO with suction toys isn’t just “ramp up to max and leave it there.” Even the lower settings of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation are pleasurable, and I often don’t need to go to the highest setting to get off.

Verdict

With some major issues from the original model ironed out, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is an excellent clitoral suction toy.

[Toy Review] Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation

My first attempts at using clitoral suction toys were pretty lacklustre. That’s probably why the Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation has been sitting on top of my pile of “to review” sex toys for the last two weeks, trying to guilt me into actually testing it. But test it I finally did, so let’s do a Satisfyer Pro Penguin review!

Cute little thing, isn’t he? I showed Mr C&K the toy without telling him its name, and he immediately exclaimed, “It looks like a penguin!” So I guess, name-wise, it does what it says on the tin.

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation: Basics

Like all Satisfyer clitoral suction toys toys, the Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation uses a suction nozzle and pressure waves of air to stimulate the clitoris without actually touching it. This provides an intense sensation without the numbing effect that some buzzy vibrators can cause.

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation clitoral suction toy in original packaging
Image: Satisfyer

The Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation is waterproof and USB rechargeable. Its nozzle is silicone, and the body is ABS plastic. The nozzle is removeable, which makes cleaning a breeze.

Aesthetically, it’s cute and all but also… a bit baffling? I really wish I’d been a fly on the wall at the marketing meeting where someone said, “we’ve got this brilliant new sex toy technology. You know what would make this product even better? Let’s make it look like a PENGUIN!” Still, the sheer cuteness makes it non-threatening, which some beginners will appreciate, and I find its little bow-tie hilarious, so let’s run with it.

My first reaction upon switching the Penguin on was that it’s a little loud. But the sound is dampened significantly once the nozzle of the toy is against the body.

In Use

The Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation is small and not too heavy. The shape of the body means it fit nicely into my much-smaller-than-average hand. The main button on the front switches the toy on and off as well as controlling the speed, and is nice and easy to press. A really nice feature this toy has is the ability to turn it down as well as up without cycling through all the settings.

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation clitoral suction toy
Image: Satisfyer

When I first turned the Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation up to its max setting, I initially assumed it wouldn’t do anything for me. Chalk that up to my relative lack of experience with suction toys, because I was wrong. Remember: it’s not a vibrator. It works differently.

To begin with, I must admit I was underwhelmed. Pleasant sensations one second became too intense – so intense as to be painful – remarkably quickly. It’s so precise that the slightest shift in position threw me off my game. This is definitely a toy that takes some practice.

What I learned, though, is that it’s all about positioning with this one. Being even slightly off can alter the entire experience. Personally, having it all the way over my clitoral glans is way too intense for me. Over the hood is the sweet spot. The sensation is something between a suck and a caress.

My advice when you’re using a suction toy like the Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation, particularly if you’re new to them, is to try to throw out your assumptions about how they’re “supposed” to work and what your body likes. These toys might feel superficially a bit like vibrators, but they’re actually quite different. Expect a learning curve accordingly.

Satisfyer Penguin Review: Verdict

A fun and playful toy that requires some experimentation, but ultimately delivers on performance as well as cuteness.

The Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation is available from retailers such as The Pleasure Garden, Good Vibes, Babeland, and Sex Toys UK.
