[Toy Review] We-Vibe Chorus Pro

When I learned that a new version of the We-Vibe Chorus was dropping, this time named the We-Vibe Chorus Pro, my first thought was “already!?” Surely it hasn’t been that long since the first iteration of the Chorus hit the market. However, apparently it’s been well over five years! Time is fake. That can mean only one thing: it’s time for a review of the newly released We-Vibe Chorus Pro.

What is the We-Vibe Chorus Pro?

The Pro is a new, updated version of the original We-Vibe Chorus. It’s the same basic design, and follows the theme of We-Vibe’s classic C-shaped “wear during intercourse” vibrators.

We-Vibe Chorus Pro & remote in purple

It’s designed to offer additional clitoral stimulation to the wearer during penetrative sex, while also stimulating the inside of their vagina and (if applicable) their partner’s penis with vibrations. It comes with a “Haptic Squeeze Remote” (more on that below) and can also be controlled via the We-Vibe app.

The Chorus Pro is made of body-safe silicone and available in 3 colourways: Cosmic Purple, Satin Black, and Electric Pink. Its internal arm measures ???

The Chorus Pro is rechargeable, with a 2 hour charge giving around 90 minutes of running time. Its sturdy black plastic storage case is also a USB charging case. It is also IPX7 waterproof, i.e. submersible. It’s unclear whether the remote is waterproof, though; the Chorus Original’s remote was only splashproof so the same may be true here.

Chorus vs Chorus Pro: What’s New?

The We-Vibe Chorus Pro offers many of the same features as the previous iteration of this product, including the adjustable hinged design, squeezable remote, app control options, and touch sensors on the main body of the toy. However, it also offers a number of upgrades. Most notably:

Three Motors and Fusion Wave Stimulation

While the original Chorus had two motors, the Chorus Pro has three. There are two motors in the external clitoral stimulator, and one in the insertable arm. This enables something We-Vibe calls “Fusion Wave Technology”, which sounds like something out of Star Trek but actually seems to just mean that the two clitoral motor synchronise to offer rhythmic, rolling and flowing “wave-like” vibrations.

“Haptic Squeeze” Remote

Close up of We-Vibe Chorus Pro remote in my hand, demonstrating for review

Though the original Chorus had a squeeze-sensitive remote, the Chorus Pro has had a significant upgrade in this regard. The word “haptic” just means something relating to the sense of touch. The new Chorus remote is designed to adjust vibration strength with the intensity of the squeeze, with the remote vibrating at the same strength as the toy to provide immediate feedback to the person holding it.

Is this a good thing? Debatable. We’ll get into this in more detail shortly.

We-Vibe Chorus Pro Review: Pros

Something I appreciate about We-Vibe is that, unlike some toy manufacturers, they don’t constantly churn out new products at an alarmingly fast rate. Instead, they seem to take their time and put real thought into their designs. As a result, the We-Vibe Chorus Pro has a lot to recommend it.

Let’s get into what I like about this product.

  • It’s so pretty! The material sort of shimmers.
  • The hinged design allows you to adjust the fit according to your body.
  • The charging case is convenient for both travel and storage. For an ADHDer like me, it also makes me less likely to lose either the toy or the remote.
  • With 7 classic We-Vibe patterns and 3 new “Fusion Wave” patterns built in, as well as constant vibrations and the ability to change the intensity level of any pattern using the remote, the user experience is pretty versatile even before you get the app involved.
  • The remote is highly responsive, both in squeeze mode and when just using the buttons.
  • The squishy design also makes the motor super comfortable to hold and use.
Underside of We-Vibe Chorus Pro with hinge open to show textured surface

  • I love the texturing on the underside of the external arm. It’s pretty subtle but it adds a little extra stimulation. I can’t personally feel the texturing on the internal arm when I’m wearing it, but other users’ experience may differ.
  • The addition of a third motor really does make a difference in use. While I think calling it “Fusion Wave” is a stretch, the synchronised external motors deliver more intense clitoral and all-over vulva stimulation than a single motor can manage on its own.
  • The motors! We-Vibe always uses excellent strong and rumbly motors in its toys, and this one is no exception.

Cons

There are also a few things about the We-Vibe Chorus Pro I found frustrating. Namely:

  • While the original Chorus had two adjustable hinges for a better fit, the Chorus Pro appears to only have one. It’s a shame to lose the extra adjustability the additional hinge offered.
  • There doesn’t seem to be a way to control the motors separately using the toy itself or the remote. If you want to do this, you’ll need the app. As someone who doesn’t like internal vibrations, this is a pretty big downside for me personally.
  • The insertable section isn’t long enough (or curved enough) to get anywhere near my G-spot. Instead of providing additional pleasure, it just sort of sits there as an anchor to hold the toy in place (sort of; see below.)
  • Overall, as in the original We-Vibe Chorus, I found the “Touch Sense” modes too unpredictable and unreliable to be pleasurable. It’s an interesting concept, but the reality is mostly just annoying.
  • I wish there were better controls on the toy itself. The single button interface is very limiting and basically means this toy is only worthwhile with either the remote or the app.
  • Like virtually all toys of this type, it doesn’t really stay in place without a helping hand unless you’re staying very still (and sometimes not even then.) If you’re moving or doing any kind of thrusting, you pretty much have to hold it in position with your hand to stop it slipping around all over the place.

Other Things to Be Aware Of

We-Vibe Chorus Pro inside its black plastic charging case

I have really mixed feelings about the haptic feedback of the squeeze remote. On the one hand, having the feedback could be useful if you’re using the toy on a partner and want to get a sense of the intensity of the stimulation for them. On the other hand, having your hand repeatedly vibrated is really annoying and uncomfortable. Ultimately, each user will need to decide if this bothers them (and, if it does, if they like the feature enough to put up with it.)

I also find that, the longer I do this job, the less I care about a toy’s app features. I can count on one hand the times I’ve used an app to control a toy outside of an “I’m testing this product so I can review it” session. I don’t really want to be on my phone when I’m trying to masturbate or have sex, I don’t use toys in public because they’re nowhere near as discreet as some people seem to think they are, and I’ve found ways to have long-distance sex that work better for me personally.

That said, We-Vibe’s app is one of the better options for app-controlled toys out there, and it offers a number of intriguing additional options including:

  • Handing control over to a partner anywhere in the world with an internet connection
  • Chatting and video-calling with a partner while they control the toy
  • As mentioned above, controlling the motors separately
  • Activating the three available “Touch Sense” modes
  • More finely controlling the intensity of the vibrations
  • Touch mode, in which you can control the toy with the swipe of a finger
  • Creating your own vibration patterns
  • Creating “playlists” of your favourite patterns

We-Vibe Chorus Pro Review: Verdict

Overall, I think the We-Vibe Chorus Pro is an excellent product. It improves on the original in a couple of fun ways, while maintaining We-Vibe’s reputation for good motors and thoughtful design. Despite a few frustrations, I’m still happy to recommend it.

The Chorus Pro retails for £189/$229 and is available from Lovehoney UK, Lovehoney US, Shevibe, Good Vibes, Babeland, or directly from We-Vibe Europe and North America.

[Toy Review] Womanizer Enhance

Something that bugs me more than it probably should? When people refer to toys that don’t vibrate as “vibrators.” This term is often erroneously applied to clitoral suction toys, which stimulate the clitoris via air pulses instead of traditional vibrations. However, what if a clitoral suction toy was also a vibrator? That’s the basic premise of the Womanizer Enhance, which I recently received to review.

Womanizer Enhance: Details

Womanizer Enhance clitoral suction toy

The concept of combining clitoral suction with vibrations has been done before. One of the earliest iterations was the surprisingly-good-in-its-day (and now defunct) Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration. However—spoiler alert for the rest of this review!—I think the Womanizer Enhance is probably the best iteration of this concept I’ve seen so far.

The Womanizer Enhance is a clitoral suction toy in the classic tapering Womanizer shape similar to products such as the Classic, Premium, and Next. However, this one has two important differences:

  • There’s no removable nozzle; it’s all one unit
  • The toy offers not only suction-based stimulation, but vibrations as well

The Womanizer Enhance is available in three colours: black, pink, and lilac (my personal favourite.) It is made of body-safe silicone with a plastic base. It’s USB rechargeable, taking around 90 minutes to charge and offering up to 2 hours of runtime depending on intensity. The Enhance is also IPX7 waterproof, allowing for full submersion.

Womanizer Enhance Review: Greater Than the Sum of Its Parts

Womanizer claims that “100% of testers had an orgasm!” which, I admit, made me roll my eyes a bit. It’s not quite one of those “orgasm guaranteed!” claims that make me want to scream, but it’s at least skirting around the edges of being one.

However, I’ll give them this: the Womanizer Enhance really is an excellent product.

Womanizer Enhance clitoral suction toy in my hand

It offers 10 vibration speeds, 10 suction intensity levels, and 10 vibration patterns. This means that, all-in, there are over 1000 possible combinations to play with. Of course, if you’re anything like me, you’ll find one to maybe five settings you like and stick with those. But, given the versatility, there’s a decent chance of finding at least a few that hit the spot for you.

Suction-wise, the Womanizer Enhance is pretty similar to the many other clitoral suction toys in the Womanizer range. The 10 speeds are well graded, offering a noticeable but not too extreme jump between settings as you move up through them. The suction sensation is intense, yet also smooth and sensual.

In terms of vibrations, I was pleasantly surprised to find them far more rumbly than I was expecting. They’re not the strongest, even at the highest levels, but they’re still pretty good. Overall, though, the beauty of this toy is that it’s greater than the sum of its parts. The suction is good, the vibrations are fine, but together is where the magic really happens.

Compared to other suction-only toys I’ve reviewed, I felt as though the orgasm from the Womanizer Enhance encompassed my whole vulva rather than being concentrated in my clitoris.

Back review of Womanizer Enhance with buttons

Other Things I Liked Include:

  • The five button interface makes the toy easy and intuitive to use. There are two buttons to control the vibrations, two to control the suction, and one to change the pattern. Simple to learn, relatively easy to use by feel, and sensibly positioned on the back of the toy’s handle.
  • The ability to control the suction and vibrations completely separately means that no matter what combination of stimulation you’re in the mood for, you can fine-tune your experience accordingly.
  • It fits comfortably in my hand, with the tapered handle providing ergonomic comfort in use.

Any Downsides?

On my first try with the Womanizer Enhance, I found the positioning slightly awkward. Due to the nozzle being integrated with the main body of the toy, it doesn’t stick out as far from the body as the nozzles on other, similar products. This made it a little challenging to find a position that was both effective and comfortable to hold for a while.

The above positioning issue also makes it challenging to use a penetrative toy such as a dildo at the same time. Not impossible, but… logistically complex. Something to bear in mind if you prefer to use multiple toys together.

Another reason I don’t love the lack of a removable nozzle is that it makes both cleaning the toy and sharing it with a partner more of a faff.

The Womanizer Enhance can also be pretty loud at the higher levels, particularly if you have the suction and vibrations going at the same time.

Womanizer Enhance Review: Verdict

Whether the Enhance is the best Womanizer product yet will be a matter of opinion and personal preference. But for me at least, it’s definitely in the top five and possibly the top three. Yes, the vibrations really do enhance (see what I did there?) the experience that much.

I love this toy.

The Womanizer Enhance retails for around £149/$169 and is available from retailers including Lovehoney UK, Lovehoney US, Shevibe, Good Vibes, Babeland, and of course directly from Womanizer.

[Toy Review] Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo

Hot Octopuss made some serious waves with the Pulse, the company’s first product and a precursor to the Pulse Duo, back in 2013. I received the company’s latest product, the new and improved Pulse Duo, and Mr C&K was kind enough to test it out so I could review it.

What is the Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo?

The new and redesigned Pulse Duo is the latest iteration of the Pulse penis vibrator, and this time it’s specifically designed with use by couples in mind. It looks like this:

Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo "guybrator" sex toy

Based on medical technology designed to help people with spinal cord injuries and similar disabilities to ejaculate for the purposes of taking part in IVF, Pulse toys utilise an oscillating mechanism (known as “PulsePlate”™) to stimulate the penis. As a sex toy, their unique selling point is that the user doesn’t need to have an erection in order to use them.

The Pulse Duo is made of body-safe silicone in a blue-grey colour. It is rechargeable via the included magnetic USB cable. It also comes with a battery-operated remote control and a branded drawstring storage bag.

The toy is waterproof, but the remote control is not.

The user inserts their penis between the flexible silicone “wings”. The plate then stimulates them by rapidly oscillating back and forth. Pro tip: experiment with which way around, and how far along your shaft, you position the toy. The Pulse Duo is designed to stimulate the frenulum (the V-shaped spot that connects the foreskin to the head of the penis), but every penis and every person’s preferences are different, so figure out what feels best for you.

The Pulse Duo is also designed to stimulate a person with a vulva. The suggested use is for the penis-owning person to wear the toy with the top side facing up, and for their vulva-owning partner to straddle them with the toy pressing against their vulva, allowing them to feel its vibrations:

Though the Hot Octopuss Pulse range was inspired by medical technology for people who can’t get an erection or enjoy penetrative sex, anyone with a penis can enjoy this product.

Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo Review: Pros

One of my favourite things about the Pulse Duo is that it centres a hugely underrated sex act: grinding. Many people with a vulva masturbate by grinding against things. There’s now a booming market for clitoral grinders in numerous different designs. Using the Pulse Duo with a partner offers a new way to enjoy close bodily contact and simultaneous pleasure without the need for penetration.

Unlike many “couples’ toys” I’ve seen, the Pulse Duo does not treat the vulva and clitoris as an afterthought. The design features an arched base, designed to part the vulva and target stimulation to the clit. The rigid surface is amazing for grinding against, providing plenty of pressure, and the toy transmits vibrations well, particularly on the higher settings.

Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo vibrator viewed from the side

Mr C&K reported that the vibrations and oscillations are strong and rumbly. Based on how the exterior of the toy feels, I would agree with that assessment. I’m not sure the vibrations are strong enough to give me an orgasm alone. Coupled with the grinding motion, though, they absolutely could.

The flexible wings mean that the Pulse Duo will fit most penis sizes. Hot Octopuss recommends this toy for anyone with a flaccid penis length of 3.25″ or more, and with a maximum girth of 2.5″. There is no maximum length or minimum girth recommendation.

The Pulse Duo has a four button interface, two on either side of the toy. There are 7 vibration modes to choose from (steady vibration plus 6 patterns) as well as 9 speeds. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn, and I particularly appreciate the dual-directional speed controls. The remote control offers additional flexibility in how you use the toy and has a range of around 3 metres.

Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo close up of remote control

Unlike a stroker, you don’t need to move the Pulse Duo up and down the penis during use. Depending on your penis size and how it fits, some people will be able to use this toy completely hands-free. Others will need to hold it in place. Of course, if you have a partner straddling you to use the toy in “Duo” mode, their weight will help anchor it in place.

Mr C&K didn’t use lube on his first attempt with the Pulse Duo. He said the toy worked fine without it, but that most people would find insertion easier and may find the toy more comfortable with some water-based lube added.

Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo Review: Cons

Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo vibrator viewed from the side

The first notable downside of the Pulse Duo is that it’s annoyingly loud. Oscillating toys are often louder than traditional vibrators, but the Pulse Duo is bordering on distractingly loud.

The battery life is also only around an hour, which isn’t great considering a full charge takes 3 hours.

Finally, and this is an admittedly minor gripe: the plastic battery tab in the remote control would not come out! No matter how hard we pulled it, we could ultimately only remove it by opening up the battery compartment with a tiny screwdriver. Again, minor, but annoying.

Verdict

This is a really well-designed toy and an improvement on the previous iteration in virtually every way. It is an innovative and inclusive product that focuses on pleasure rather than centering penetration. It has a strong motor, good controls, and well-thought-out use cases for both solo and partnered use. Mr C&K and I are both happy to recommend this product.

I’ll leave you with this gem from Mr C&K regarding the Pulse Duo’s aesthetic: “it looks like I have a little helmet on my… helmet.”

The Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo retails for £129/$149 and is available directly from Hot Octopuss and from Shevibe.

Thanks to Hot Octopuss for sending Mr C&K and I the Pulse Duo to review. All views are ours!

[Toy Review] VVD Rider Desire Sex Saddle

There are certain items I wanted to get my hands on for ages before finally managing to, and receiving them felt like a career milestone of sorts. (Then there are certain toys that I liked the idea of owning, but the reality was really annoying. Looking at you, 42lb sex doll I have absolutely no use for that is still taking up space in my guest room.) One category I’ve been keen to explore for forever? Ride-on toys like the VVD Rider Desire vibrating saddle sex machine we’re looking at today.

A sex saddle is, essentially, a toy that you straddle. Most have a part that goes inside the vagina, and then another part that stimulates the clit. Some come with interchangeable attachments for different riding experiences. The Sybian and Cowgirl are probably the most famous iterations.

VVD recently reached out and offered to sponsor a review of their “Rider Desire” sex saddle. Obviously I immediately said yes. It looks a little something like this:

VVD Rider Desire sex saddle with pink dildo attachment
Image: VVD

VVD Rider Desire Saddle Sex Machine

VVD, or “Viva Desire”, is a women-led brand currently producing a small line of toys aimed at people with vulvas. Currently, the Rider Desire is VVD’s flagship product, along with the “VKini“.

VVD Rider Desire sex saddle box
Image: VVD

The VVD Rider Desire is a vibrating saddle-shaped ride-on sex toy made of a combination of hard plastic and soft silicone.

The Rider Desire comes with three attachments: a simple vibrating dildo, a thrusting attachment, and a tapping attachment. It also has an external part that vibrates and “taps” against the clit. It can also be used without attachments, which I’ll get into in more detail below.

VVD Rider Desire attachments image and sex saddle viewed from above
Image: VVD

Though it comes in a sizeable box, the VVD Rider Desire is actually both smaller and lighter than a lot of other sex saddles on the market. It measures 44cm/17.3″ in total length, 24cm/9.4″ in width, and 20cm/7.8″ in height, and weighs 1.9kg or 4.2lb. Not the smallest or lightest thing ever, but less cumbersome than many comparable products. I recommend keeping the box it came in for easy storage of the saddle and its components.

What I Liked About the VVD Rider Desire Vibrating Saddle Sex Machine

Let’s start by saying that I think this is an excellent product. Genuinely super impressive. So what specifically did I like about it?

  • Everything that touches your body is made of soft and body-safe silicone.
  • I love that it’s cordless! This offers much more flexibility in where and how I use it.
  • I love that the three attachments offer such different experiences and sensations! They’re not just different sized iterations of the same thing. The first is a basic curved vibrating dildo with a rippling texture. One offers a “tapping” sensation against the G-spot, similar to products such as the Lovense Osci. And the third provides a thrusting motion.
  • Even better, you can use this toy without any of the attachments, if you like! I’m generally more of a clitoral stimulation girl than a penetration girl, and I love being able to ride the VVD Sex Saddle and enjoy its amazing external motor (more on that in a minute) without needing to have something inside me unless I want to.
  • Let’s talk about that motor! So many ride-on or dual stimulation toys treat clitoral pleasure as an afterthought, giving us weak and buzzy motors that are more likely to numb me out than get me off. Not so here! The motor is strong and rumbly, and the tapping function is reminiscent of the (utterly excellent) Hot Octopuss Pulse Queen.
  • The attachments affix to the toy using a magnetic mechanism with a cut-out ridge to ensure you’re positioning them correctly. This means they stay in place well and don’t come loose during use.
  • The shape of the VVD Rider Desire vibrating saddle sex machine allows for a gentle rocking motion, which is particularly enjoyable for me as someone who really loves getting off by grinding on things.
  • It comes with a remote control, allowing you to change the settings easily or hand over control to a partner. There’s definitely potential here for teasing and edging games, orgasm control, forced orgasm play, and more if you’re into any of that.
VVD Rider Desire buttons and remote control

  • If you prefer to use the buttons on the toy itself, this is easy. The buttons are intuitively positioned on the front underside of the toy. They are large and easy to press, and the controls are simple and intuitive. There’s a button to turn the saddle on and off, a button to activate the clitoral stimulator, and a button to activate the internal attachments. And yes, you can use both functions separately!
  • There’s a nice “heating” function that warms up the saddle to 42-45°C. Mmm, cosy!
  • It can actually be used hands-free!
  • While I wouldn’t call the VVD Rider Desire a quiet toy, it’s definitely quieter than many other “sex saddle” type products.

Things to Be Aware Of

Perhaps due to its size, the VVD Rider Desire saddle sex machine doesn’t have an amazing battery life. A full charge takes around 3 hours and gives just one and a quarter hours of runtime on average.

If you have pain in your knees or hips, you may find it challenging to use the Rider Desire on the floor. Try supporting your knees with cushions, putting the saddle on the bed or other soft surface instead, or even putting it on a chair and using it in a sitting position rather than a kneeling position. The only right way to do this is the way that’s comfortable for you!

Though the internal attachments are super easy to clean with a sterile wipe or warm water and soap, the external portion is a bit of a pain to clean. There are lots of ridges and the toy is only IPX5 waterproof, meaning it can withstand splashes but should not be submerged. I use a body-safe medical wipe and take extra care to get all the little crevices.

Personally, I wish there were more constant speeds and fewer patterns for the external portion. Does anyone actually like patterns? In my little world of sex geeks, folks seem to pretty much universally hate them.

The weight limit of the VVD Rider Desire vibrating saddle is 150kg or 330lb, so it may not be suitable for those in bigger bodies.

I don’t mind it so much, but my partner and metamour – who also tested the toy – disliked the bright pink colour and suggested it would look more luxurious in a shade like the darker purple of the main box and attachments box.

VVD Rider Desire Saddle Sex Machine: Verdict

Overall, I think it’s fair to say that I was far more impressed by the Rider Desire Sex Saddle than I expected to be. It has actually good motors, great attachments, and a relatively lightweight build as well as good finishing touches like the remote control and intuitive button positioning. The ability to use it without penetration is what really tips it from good to great for me.

In my metamour’s words: 8/10 would ride again!

The VVD Rider Desire Sex Saddle retails for $399 US at full price. My readers can get $20 off with code “coffee.”

[Toy Review] SVibe Snail Curve

I’ve been wanting to do a “Snail Vibe” review ever since I read Kate Sloan’s review of an earlier iteration back in 2022. And lucky me, I was recently approached by SVibe who invited me to do exactly that. I received the Snail Curve, which has been out in North America for a while but is now available globally!

What is the SVibe Snail Curve?

I’ve said it before: in a world where stolen designs abound and there are only so many iterations of “put this thing that vibrates on your genitals”, it is relatively rare to see genuine innovation in the sex toy industry. SVibe’s “Snail Vibe” range, though, ticks that box. I have genuinely never seen anything quite like these toys before.

The Snail Vibes, like the Curve I received to review, are so called because… well, because look at it:

SVibe Snail vibe for review post. Pictured in its box

The basic premise of all SVibe’s Snail Vibes is the same. They are dual stimulation toys for the vagina and clitoris, much like the traditional rabbit vibe design. However, the spiral-shaped clitoral stimulator (the snail’s “shell”) unrolls as you thrust. What this means, at least in theory, is that it stays in constant contact with the clitoris. Perhaps the closest comparison with another toy on the market is the We-Vibe Nova. Since most people with vulvas require sustained and continuous clitoral stimulation to orgasm, this feature is already a game changer.

Did it work? You’ll have to read the next section to find out.

SVibe Snail vibrator with its storage case

The SVibe Snail Curve is made of body-safe silicone and available in pink, purple, peach, or black. It measures 9″ in total length and up to 5.5″ in insertable length. Its insertable diameter is 1.43″. It is also waterproof. No specific IPX rating is provided but the website states that most of the company’s toys are suitable for use in the bath, so it’s probably IPX 7.

The Snail Curve is rechargeable via the included magnetic cable. A 2 hour charge gives around an hour of runtime.

In 2024, the Snail Curve was the O Awards winner in the “Best Powered Product” category and nominated for the XBIZ “Sex Toy of the Year” award.

Snail Vibe Curve Review: What I Loved

Oh goodness, where to start? So many things about this product are just so well designed.

  • The design. This is, of course, this toy’s main selling point and oh my goodness, it’s an excellent one. The unrolling/unfurling design means that whether the insertable portion is two inches or five inches inside me, the external stimulator remains in constant contact with my clit. I can’t overstate how revolutionary it is for a dual stimulation vibe to actually stimulate my clit without me having to angle it all kinds of weird ways, insert it uncomfortably deeply, or poke myself in the side of the vagina. It also means I can actually press against the clitoral stimulator without it moving away like flimsy “rabbit ears” often do.
  • Related: I like the fact that I don’t have to insert it all the way to get decent clitoral contact. As shallow as a couple of inches will do the job, which is often the sweet spot for me anyway. I’ve complained about this issue in reviews of other rabbit-style toys, but the Snail Vibe Curve neatly avoids it.
  • This design also makes this a more viable option for using on a partner, or having a partner use on me. Many rabbit-style vibrators are definitely “solo” toys for me (when I bother with them at all, which is rare) because the positioning is so finnicky.
  • The slimline shaft design makes it more usable and accessible to the many people, myself included, who often gravitate towards smaller insertables.
  • I love the texturing of the clitoral stimulator. However, lube is absolutely essential here.
SVibe Snail Curve with the clitoral stimulator unfurled

  • The long handle makes the toy comfortable to hold, whether you’re using it on yourself or a partner. It’s particularly helpful for positioning during solo use, in my experience.
  • The buttons are well-placed on the top of the finger loop at the end of the handle, and easy to press.
  • The controls are intuitive. Each of the two motors has a button for changing the speed (only one way, though) and a button for changing the pattern. There are five patterns including constant vibration and five intensity levels to choose from.
  • The motors are actually good! So many promising toys I’ve reviewed are let down by shitty, buzzy motors but both of the Snail Vibe Curve’s motors are strong and rumbly.
  • You can control the two motors completely separately! This is great news for someone like me who wants intense, rumbly clitoral stimulation and either very gentle vibes or, preferably, no vibes inside. It also means you can use different settings, patterns, and speeds simultaneously if you want to.
Snail Vibe buttons close up

  • It’s fairly quiet.
  • It includes a zip-up storage case, which is a nice extra for a toy at this price point.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

Clitoral stimulator of SVibe snail vibe close up

Overall, the Snail Vibe Curve is a truly excellent vibrator and there is very little to criticise in this review. Personally, I would have liked the insertable shaft to have a slightly more pronounced curve. I would have also liked the shaft, which is very rigid, to have a little more flex.

In a totally ideal world, dual-directional speed controls would be good. But when there are only five speed to cycle through I can’t complain too much.

The battery life isn’t great, offering just an hour of running time on a full charge.

Finally, the handle transmits quite a lot of vibration through to my hand, though this is probably unavoidable.

SVibe Snail Vibe Curve Review: Verdict

The SVibe Snail Curve is, by every measure, a damn good toy. It’s also one that works incredibly well for my body in particular, which is relatively rare for a dual stimulation vibe. Even rarer: reliable clitoral stimulaton AND powerful, rumbly vibrations. I adore the innovative “unrolling” design, and I love that it’s suitable for those who don’t want deep penetration and for those who do.

And it looks like a snail, which is just pleasingly whimsical.

The SVibe Snail Curve retails for £111/$149 and is available from the manufacturer as well as from retailers such as Good Vibes, Babeland, Shevibe, Lovehoney UK and Lovehoney US. Use code COFFEEKINK10 for 10% off at Svibe.

[Toy Review] Lovense Osci 3

Lovense Osci 3 review update/disclaimer 2025: Lovense has come under fire for significant security breaches in the last few months, including allegedly exposing users’ email addresses in the supposedly-anonymous app. Though the company claims to have fixed the problem, this is part of a pattern of worrying privacy concerns when it comes to app-controlled sex toys in general. Do with this information what you choose, but it has made me extremely hesitant about using toy apps personally. I have updated my Lovense reviews to include this information to allow you to make an informed choice.

Rabbit vibrators are hard to get right. As a general rule, when one lands in my review queue I have pretty low expectations. A rabbit vibe I enjoy is a rare find. A rabbit vibe that can actually make me come is even rarer. Still, I like to keep an open mind, so let’s get into my review of the Lovense Osci 3.

What is the Lovense Osci 3?

Lovense Osci 3 app-controlled rabbit vibrator

The Lovense Osci 3 is the latest in Lovense’s line of Osci toys. It measures 8.5″ in total length, around 5″ in insertable length, and 1.2″ in diameter at the widest point. The Osci 3 has three functions: an oscillating G-spot stimulator on the end of the internal arm, a flexible vibrating clitoral stimulator, and a warming function. The internal arm offers an impressive 4000-6000 oscillations per minute.

This toy is made of Lovense’s signature hot pink silicone. It is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it is fully submersible, and rechargeable. A full charge takes just 75 minutes and gives you up to 3 hours of battery life.

Like most Lovense products, the Osci 3 is app-controllable via the Lovense app. This gives you tonnes more options for ways to play, and also allows you to hand over control to a partner anywhere in the world.

Lovense Osci 3 Review: What I Liked

Lovense Osci 3 app-controlled rabbit vibrator

The Osci 3 is an impressively full-featured toy with a lot to recommend it. These are the main things I liked about it, and that you might appreciate too:

  • I love that the G-spot stimulator oscillates rather than vibrating. I’m really not a fan of internal vibrations, finding them far more uncomfortable than pleasurable. But the Osci 3’s rapid tapping motion is quite a different sensation. It’s also far more focused, stimulating the G-spot intensely without vibrating the entire vagina.
  • The flexible clitoral stimulator makes it relatively easy to try different positions and angles to find what works for your unique body.
  • The intense curve of the insertable shaft is fantastic for targeted G-spot pressure.
  • The two motors are independently controllable. This means you can use one without the other, use them together, and use them on two completely different settings – whatever you prefer, the experience is completely customisable.
  • The clitoral motor is strong and, even better, fairly rumbly.
  • Connecting with the Lovense app (free on Android and iOS) was easy and took seconds. You can use the “Remote” function to control each of the toy’s motors with the swipe of a finger, use the “My Patterns” function to use the various inbuilt settings or create your own, use the “Music” function to sync your toy to music stored on your device.
  • You can add more than one partner! This is great for those of us who are non-monogamous. Many sex toy apps still only allow you to have one partner connected at a time.
  • The “Control Link” function allows you to hand over control and chat anonymously without connecting or showing any personal data. I don’t really have much use for this function personally, but it’s one of the reasons Lovense toys are popular with online cam performers.
  • Through the app, you can also sync your toy with various types of online content and other adult apps, play games such as “Control Roulette”, turn on sound-activated mode, and much more. Use the “app gallery” and “discover” tabs to do this.
  • The heating function really changes how the toy feels, bringing it up to just above body temperature. It also works quickly, heating the toy in 1-1.5 minutes.
  • The quick charging time is a nice bonus, especially given the excellent battery life.
  • It’s not too loud.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

Because no toy is perfect, I do also have a few gripes with the Osci 3.

  • I actually might have liked one slower speed for the oscillating G-spot stimulator! I know this is an unusual thing for me to say, but even on the slowest speed it’s pretty fast and intense. If I’m not very well warmed up, this can be too much.
  • The silicone is extremely matte and “grabby.” You can overcome this with plenty of lube (water-based is best for silicone toys!). Even so, I would have preferred it to be softer and smoother.
  • I feel like I say this about virtually every toy I test, but dual-directional controls please! It’s really distracting and offputting having to scroll through every setting just to go back one.
  • Lovense toys generally really do require the app to get the most out of them. As someone who doesn’t really use sex toy apps except on very rare occasions, I do consider this a downside personally. I just want to switch my toy on and have access to all its features without needing to fuck around with my phone! Of course, your preferences may vary.

Lovense Osci 3: Verdict

The reality of the situation is that I just don’t really use rabbit vibrators very much. As rabbit vibes go, though, I think the Lovense Osci 3 is excellent. It’s objectively well-designed, with body-friendly flexibility and great motors.

Like many Lovense toys, it really comes into its own with the app. If you just want a rabbit vibrator you can enjoy without bothering with app controls, there are cheaper options on the market which are just as good. But if you want something you can use long-distance, or something with extensive app-based and online features, the Osci 3 is a worthwhile purchase.

Lovense Osci 3 prices start from £159/$139.99. It is available directly from Lovense as well as from retailers such as Shevibe, Good Vibes, Babeland, Sex Toys UK, Lovehoney UK and Lovehoney US.

Thanks to Lovense for sending me the Osci 3 to review! All writing and views are, as always, my own. Affiliate links appear in this post and if you use them to buy this or any other Lovense product, I will make a small commission at no additional cost to you.

[Toy Reviews] Funzze 3-in-1 Sucking & Flapping Thrusting Triple Stimulator

Toys that try to have multiple functions are a mixed bag, and today I’m trying another one! This time we’re looking at Funzze’s 3-in-1 triple stimulator, a vibrator/sucker/thruster toy for both penetrative and clitoral stimulation.

What is the Funzze 3-in-1 Triple Stimulator Vibrator?

The Funzze 3-in-1 Sucking & Flapping Thrusting Vibrator (hereafter the Funzze 3-in-1 for the sake of brevity) is a triple stimulator that offers three different ways to use it. Its head end features a clitoral suction stimulator on one side and, on the reverse side, this same motor allows the flat surface to make a “tapping” motion. At the other end, the toy’s handle is also an insertable dildo with a thrusting mechanism.

The Funzze 3-in-1 Triple Stimulator is made of body-safe silicone and available in either purple or green. It is IPX-6 waterproof (suitable for use in the shower and for cleaning under the tap, but not fully submersible) and USB rechargeable. It measures around 7.5″ in total length, 3.5″ in insertable length.

What I Liked About the Funzze 3-in-1

There’s a common problem with sex toys that try to do too many different things: they do none of them particularly well. Happily, this isn’t the case with the Funzze 3-in-1. Let’s talk about the things I liked about this triple stimulator.

  • The clitoral suction part performs well. It is moderately intense on the lowest setting and very intense on the higher ones. One thing to be aware of is that the nozzle is on the smaller side, so if you have a larger clit that might be something to be aware of. But if you enjoy serious focused clitoral stimulation, this toy will likely work well for you.
  • The tapping function is genuinely excellent. The stimulation it provides offers the depth and intensity of very rumbly vibrations. Even the lowest speed feels surprisingly intense, particularly for a toy at this price-point.
  • The construction of Funzze Triple Stimulator toy feels sturdy. I can press it firmly against my body and get plenty of pressure without feeling like I’m going to damage it.
  • I kind of like that the suction and tapping functions operate off the same motor. This means you can switch between the two in a second, just by turning it around.
Funzze triple stimulator 3-in-1 vibrator in purple with buttons illuminated in blue

  • The two motors—suction/tapping and thrusting—are controllable separately. They can also be used together, though I can’t think of any reason you’d want to that doesn’t defy the laws of physics!
  • The controls are simple and intuitive, and the buttons are easy to press.
  • The thrusting part has quite a short “length”—only maybe an inch or two of thrust. This won’t work for everyone, of course, but for those who (like me) enjoy penetration but often find deep thrusting more painful than pleasurable, it’s a great choice.
  • With 10 thrusting speeds and 10 sucking/tapping intensity levels, the Funzze Triple Stimulator is a truly customisable experience with numerous options for different users and different preferences.
  • It comes with a storage bag included.
  • The retail price of $42.99 (that’s around £34) is exceptional value for the quality.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

There’s one main thing I don’t like about the Funzze 3-in-1 triple stimulator: the noise. Whichever way you’re using it, this thing is loud. Both the loud buzz of the head end and the back-and-forth squeak of the thruster are really offputting and grating to me. Which is a shame in a product that I otherwise liked so much.

Funzze triple stimulator 3-in-1 vibrator

My other criticism is the lack of dual-directional controls. Whichever of the Funzze Triple Stimulator toy’s three functions I’m using, it would be nice to be able to scroll through the speeds in either direction.

Funzze 3-in-1 Triple Stimulator: Verdict

Overall, the Funzze 3-in-1 is a much better product than many of the “multiple things in one” options on the market. The clitoral suction stimulator does its job well, and the thrusting function is gentle enough that I can actually use it. It’s that glorious tapping function, though, that really elevates this one for me.

A surprising winner. Good job, Funzze!

The Funzze 3-in-1 triple stimulation toy retails for $42.99.

Thanks to Funzze for sponsoring this review of their triple stimulation toy! This means they paid me to test the toy and write an honest account of my experience. All views, as always, are mine.

[Toy Review] We-Vibe Wand 2

I was surprised, looking back, to see that I never published a We-Vibe Wand review on here when the first iteration of this toy launched back in 2020. I was sure I had, but apparently not. Anyway, I received the new edition – the Wand 2 – this week, so you’re getting a We-Vibe Wand review at last!

We-Vibe Wand 2: Details

We-Vive Wand 2 vibrator in its box

The We-Vibe Wand 2 is a cordless wand vibrator. It measures around 11″ in total length, with a 2.1″ diameter head at its widest point. It is made of soft and body-safe purple silicone, with a curved handle, large head, and flexible neck. The Wand is controllable either manually or through the We-Vibe app. Additional features include a travel lock and WOW Tech’s[1] Smart Silence functionality – more on that in a minute.

We-Vibe Wand 2 on grey blanket

The Wand 2 is USB rechargeable, giving around 2 hours of runtime for a 2.5 hour full charge. It is also IPX7 waterproof, meaning you can use it safely in the bath or shower.

[1] We-Vibe’s parent company which also owns brands such as Womanizer, Romp, and Arcwave.

What I Liked About the We-Vibe Wand 2

At risk of spoiler-ing myself before I get to the overall verdict, let’s begin by acknowledging that the We-Vibe Wand 2 is a genuinely fucking excellent vibrator. I’m not usually particularly brand-loyal when it comes to sex toys, but I do make an exception for my wands (#Doxy4Life!) It takes a lot for another wand to make it into my easy-access sex chest. But this one has managed it.

Image for We-Vibe Wand review showing the toy's bendy neck

What makes it so great?

  • Intense, deep, powerful, and rumbly as fuck vibrations. This is one of the rumbliest vibrators I have ever used. Even better, it keeps that rumbliness even on the highest settings. I can’t sing the praises of this toy’s vibrations enough. Whatever motor We-Vibe are using, they have set a new gold standard for cordless toys with this one.
  • The shape of the head is fantastic. With the broad, rounded sides and pronounced “pleasure edges”, you can switch easily between broad and focused stimulation.
  • The flexible neck enables easy and comfortable positioning.
  • The manual controls are simple and comprehensive. You can scroll in either direction through the 10 vibration patterns and 10 intensity levels, setting exactly the combination you prefer and moving between them easily.
  • If you have the original We-Vibe Wand, its two included attachments will also fit on the Wand 2. Other brands’ wand attachments may also work. For example, though the fit isn’t quite perfect, I’ve found that I can easily use my Godemiche Wand Toppers with the Wand 2.
We-Vibe Wand 2 with wand attachments
Feat. wand attachments from We-Vibe Wand original

  • Connecting to the We-Vibe app (formerly WeConnect) is quick and straightforward. If it’s been a while since you downloaded the We-Vibe app, you might need to update it or download the newest version for it to pick up the Wand 2, but that’s also fast and free.
  • The app offers various possibilities, such as controlling the toy from your phone, switching between your favourite settings instantly, or creating “playlists” of various settings in a particular order. You can also use Ambient Mode to vibe along to ambient noise (in my experience it has to be pretty loud for this to really work) or Beat Mode to connect your toy to music stored on your device (not compatible with music from streaming apps.) And, of course, you can hand over control to a partner from anywhere in the world as long as they have an internet connection.
  • The app’s responsiveness is reliable and instant.
  • The app is a nice-to-have rather an an essential. As someone who rarely uses sex toy apps in real-world contexts outside of reviewing, I much prefer the toys to speak for themselves and the apps to be optional extras. This toy achieves that aim.
  • The Smart Silence function is one of my favourite ever WOW Tech inventions. This means that the toy is equipped with a sensor and will start vibrating when it is in contact with your body, then stop automatically when you take it away. This is ideal for people who require discretion, and also for people who prefer a seamless stop-and-start experience. Smart Silence is on by default, but you can also switch it off if you find you don’t like it.
  • Though not exactly “whisper quiet” (stop claiming this, toy companies, it’s almost never true!), the We-Vibe Wand 2’s sound level is reasonably unobtrusive particularly for its level of power.
  • Great value. To be clear, the We-Vibe Wand 2 isn’t a cheap toy. But for what you get, the price of £129.99 in the UK/$149 in the US is very reasonable.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

Because no product is perfect, the We-Vibe Wand 2 does have some minor downsides too.

  • Unlike the original We-Vibe Wand, the Wand 2 does not come with any attachments included. This wasn’t really an issue for me personally because, as mentioned above, it will work with the attachments I still have from my original Wand as well as other attachments in my collection. However, that won’t be true for people who didn’t own the We-Vibe Wand original or who don’t already have a collection of attachments.
  • The app’s “Touch Mode”, as I’ve identified in previous reviews, is pretty useless. The vibrations will turn on in response to touches, but whatever I do I cannot get the intensity to change.
  • It’s pretty heavy.
  • A lot of the vibrations transfer through the handle, particularly on the higher settings. This can be a problem for people who suffer with hand pain or discomfort.

We-Vibe Wand Review: Verdict

This is an absolutely amazing toy.

With the exception of the lack of attachments, this iteration is an improvement in virtually every way on the original We-Vibe Wand. It has better app connectivity and responsiveness, more comprehensive manual controls, and a better head design. Most importantly, it has one of the best – if not the best – motors I’ve ever encountered in a cordless toy.

You can purchase the We-Vibe Wand 2 from Lovehoney UK for £129.99 or Lovehoney US for $149. It is also available directly from We-Vibe North America and We-Vibe Europe.

Thanks to Lovehoney for enabling this We-Vibe Wand review by sending me the Wand 2 to try. All views are, as always, my own. Affiliate links appear in this post.

[Toy Review] FusyFun WAVE Anal Toy for Two

Dual stimulation toys for people with vulvas, from rabbit vibrators to wearable toys and much more, have been abundant for a long time. However, there are far fewer dual stim toys for those with penises out there. That’s why, when FusyFun reached out to me, I was excited to check out their “WAVE” dual stim (and shareable) anal toy.

What is the FusyFun WAVE?

The FusyFun WAVE is a vibrating toy designed for anal and penis stimulation. However, it’s a bit of a misnomer to call this a “dual stim” toy; in certain configurations, it can also stimulate the perineum and the balls, making it a triple or even quadruple stimulation toy!

FusyFun WAVE in box with remote control and cable

It has four main parts: an egg shaped bulb with some gently rippled texturing, a raised textured ridge, a stretchy ring, and a long tail with a rigid vibrating nub at the top. It measures 14.88″ in total length, with the insertable bulb measuring 2.56″ in length and 1.3″ in diameter.

FunyFun WAVE laid flat with remote control

The WAVE is made of body-safe silicone in dark blue. It also comes with a plastic remote control.

There’s a little “how to” video on the product page which can help if, like me, you initially struggle to envision how this toy is supposed to work when you unbox it. It covers both solo and partnered use. (The video also covers consent and communication, as well as use of condoms and lube for safer sex, which was a nice unexpected touch!)

The FusyFun WAVE is USB rechargeable, with a 90 minute charge giving around 60 minutes of use time. Its remote requires one CR2032 battery, which is included. The toy is IPX6 waterproof, meaning that it can withstand jets of water but should not be submerged. In other words, it’s fine to wash it under the tap and it’s probably fine to use it in the shower. Don’t take it in the bath (/pool/any other large body of water you might be having sex in) though! The remote control is also not waterproof.

How the WAVE Works

In a nutshell: the bulb end goes into your anus. The stretchy ring can then sit around either your penis or balls, holding the long thin tail and vibrating tip against either the top or underside of your penis.

FusyFun WAVE how-to image
Image: FusyFun

If you like, you can penetrate your partner with your penis and the toy’s tail, adding a little extra girth as well as some internal vibrations for their prostate or G-spot (depending on what type of body they have.) The instructions are weirdly gendered but they don’t need to be; regardless of whether you’re penetrating a vagina or an anus, the toy works in pretty much exactly the same way.

Things I Liked About This Toy

FunyFun WAVE

The most obvious thing I like about this toy is that its design is something new and innovative that I haven’t seen before. In a world of endless reiterations of the same basic toy designs, I always get excited when I see something a bit creative and different. The FusyFun WAVE is a really creative approach to stimulating multiple erogenous zones at the same time. In particular, I love that it allows for stimulation of the perineum, an underrated and potentially highly pleasurable area of the body on folks of all genders.

I also love the versatility of the FusyFun WAVE. Not only is it suitable for both solo and shared play, there are also several different ways to use it in each configuration. You can experiment with different positions, and even use the different parts of the toy entirely differently from the “standard” ways if you like.

Some of the other key things I liked about this toy included:

FunyFun WAVE cock ring close up being stretched

  • It came packaged in an attractive and sturdy branded box. It also comes with a storage bag.
  • The matte silicone is lovely and soft, and feels high quality.
  • The main motor is really good! It’s strong and fairly rumbly.
  • The bendable tail stays in whatever position you put it in. This allows you to position it in exactly the right way for your body, and it won’t move until you want it to.
  • If you position it right, you can use this toy hands-free, keeping your hands available to do other things.
  • The texturing, both on the insertable bulb and the perineum stimulator, is excellent. It’s at the perfect level, in my opinion: pronounced enough to feel it, but gentle enough so as not to be uncomfortable.
  • The super-stretchy ring will accommodate most penis and testicle sizes.
  • The insertable bulb is small enough to be non-intimidating and accessible to newer anal players.
  • The buttons are easy to press and the toy is highly responsive to the remote controls.
  • It is fairly quiet in use, particularly once the bulb end is inside the body.
  • The $75 price point is very reasonable for the quality.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

Along with all the things I liked about the FusyFun WAVE, there were also a few small things I didn’t like so much.

  • The controls are a little confusing until you get the hang of them. The button on the toy itself only seems to switch on and control the insertable vibrating bulb. The remote allows you to control the bulb and the small vibrating tip independently. You’ll need to remember which button controls which motor, though, or you risk turning the wrong one off at just the wrong moment.
  • The vibrations in the small tip are very weak and buzzy. This is a real shame considering how good the vibrations in the insertable part are! As it is, it feels like the second motor is a bit of an afterthought.
  • The vibrations that transmit to the perineum portion are pretty weak, too. An additional motor here would fix this issue.

FusyFun WAVE: Verdict

This toy really surprised me, in a good way! I was a little unsure about the concept, but it’s actually such a good design overall. Some tweaking to make the controls a little more intuitive and improving the smaller motor in the tip could easily turn the FusyFun WAVE from a really good product into a truly excellent one.

The FusyFun WAVE retails for $75.

Thanks to FusyFun for sending me this product and sponsoring this review. All views are, as always, my own.

[Toy Review] Womanizer Vibe

Womanizer are best known for their high-end clitoral suction toys. From the travel-friendly Liberty to the revolutionary Next, Enhance, and many more, I’ve loved many of their products over the years. So when I saw they were releasing a vibrator, I immediately knew that a Womanizer Vibe review was in my near future.

What is the Womanizer Vibe?

Womanizer Vibe in box

It’s a vibe. By Womanizer. Yeah, the name pretty much does what it says on the tin with this one.

Specifically, the Womanizer Vibe is a vibrator shaped like many of the iconic Womanizer suction toys I’ve reviewed, with a tapered handle and a rounded end. This end is normally where the suction nozzle would go, but instead we get a kind of hooked head with a central ridge leading to a gentle point. The entire toy measures around 6″ in length.

Womanizer Vibe in green

The main body of the Womanizer Vibe is soft, body-safe silicone and the bottom part of the handle is plastic. Mine is a gorgeous mint green colour. It also comes in blue and pink. The Vibe is IPX-7 waterproof and rechargeable with the included magnetic USB cable. Its running time is around 90 minutes.

According to the product page, the Womanizer Vibe is specifically “designed to be less intense than a pin-point clitoral vibrator.” We’ll get into more of my thoughts on that below.

Womanizer Vibe Review: What I Liked

When I received this toy, I showed the box to Mr C&K. “This toy is described as noiseless,” I said. “That’s obviously going to be laughably untrue, but how laughably untrue do you think it’s going to be?”

Well, fuck me because Womanizer have just made me eat my words. Now it isn’t really technically accurate that the Womanizer Vibe is “noiseless”—it does make some sound—but this thing is seriously, seriously quiet. It’s the kind of low, unobtrusive hum that could come from a household appliance, fan, or air conditioner. No-one is hearing this toy outside your closed bedroom door unless your walls are made of paper. So yes, it is as close to noiseless as I believe it is possible for a vibrator to get.

Womanizer Vibe back side showing buttons

What else did I like about the Womanizer Vibe?

  • The Womanizer Vibe is literally the rumbliest toy I’ve ever tried and reviewed. This thing gives the kind of deep, penetrating rumbles that very few toys manage. Apparently this is due to something called “UltraWave Vibration.”
  • Its shape is absolutely brilliant. The broad, smooth sides allow for all-over stimulation, while the central ridge and slightly raised edges offer more precision. Personally, my favourite way to use it is to place the central tip against my clit.
  • With its broad back and raised head, it is ideal for placing on a bed or other surface and grinding against.
  • The tapered handle is comfortable to hold.
  • It has an intuitive and simple three-button interface.
  • Apart from the easily-avoidable Autopilot sillyness (more on that below), there are no annoying patterns. Just 10 speeds of constant vibration.
  • It came beautifully packaged in a box that wouldn’t look out of place containing a piece of high-end tech.
  • It’s gorgeous. Of course, form matters less than functionality when it comes to sex toys, but it doesn’t hurt when they’re pretty and in one of my favourite colours.

The Womanizer Vibe is not the most powerful toy on the market. In fact, Womanizer specifically markets it as being less intense than some of the other products out there. Even so, turns out that rumbles are more important than sheer intensity alone. The orgasms I have with this toy are a slower build than with many of the other vibrators in my collection, but

Anything I Didn’t Like?

I really had to scramble for anything negative to include in my Womanizer Vibe review. Sure, in a totally ideal world I would have liked it to go a notch or two more powerful. But it’s so rumbly that I don’t really miss the extra insensity.

Womanizer Vibe in green held in a woman's hand

A remote control might also have been nice. This vibrator was made for grinding against, and it’s tricky to change the setting when it’s underneath you. A remote would solve this.

I also think the “Autopilot” functions are a bit silly. I don’t want the toy controlling what sensations I feel unless the toy can register and understand my reactions and respond according. (Which, as a concept, sounds equal parts seriously fucking cool and like a Black Mirror episode.) Needless to say it cannot, so instead it’s just a bunch of random intensity changes and the risk of ruining my orgasm. No thank you.

Womanizer Vibe Review: Verdict

This is an excellent vibrator.

The Womanizer Vibe is likely to particularly suit those with sensitive clits, anyone who prefers very rumbly vibrations, and those who enjoy a more all-over, less pinpoint type of clitoral stimulation.

The Womanizer Vibe retails for £119.99 at Lovehoney UK and $129 at Lovehoney US.
