[Toy Review] Godemiche Vibe Pads

Since they first released the revolutionary Grind Ring, Godemiche have been adding more and more products to their range of grinding toys. The latest is the Vibe Pad vibrating grinder, which I just received to review.

What is a Vibe Pad Vibrating Grinder?

Godemiche Vibe Pads in "Jelly Bean" and "Ridges" textures

Vibe Pads are the latest iteration of Godemiche’s line of grinding toys which began with the Grind Ring and continued with the Grind Pad. Each Vibe Pad is a flat, rectangular piece of piece of silicone with a cylindrical raised area a few inches long in the middle. The raised part is covered in texturing to stimulate the vulva and clitoris when you grind against it.

It is hollow, with a slit in the back where you can insert the included bullet vibrator. There is also an indent in the silicone where the vibrator button sits, allowing you to switch it on, off, or change settings without taking it out.

Back of the Godemiche Vibe Pad

Vibe Pads come with removable straps so you can attach them to a surface, toy mount, or body part if you want to.

Each Vibe Pad is customisable. You can select your texture, choose from the standard “extra soft” or medium-firm silicone, choose one or two colours from over 60 options, and choose the colour and length of your straps.

Vibe Pad vibrating grinders are available in nine different textures. I received four of them to try.

Back of the Godemiche Vibe Pad

Godemiche Vibe Pad: “Jelly Bean”

I decided to start the review with this one, since this Vibe Pad texture is my least favourite of the four I received. The fact that I still quite like it should tell you how I feel about this range overall.

Jelly Beans is the gentlest of the four Grind Pad textures I’ve tried. As you grind, each of the little beans laps slightly against your… no, I’m not making a “bean” joke. It’s too obvious and I am ashamed of myself for even thinking it.

Godemiche Vibe Pad in "Jelly Bean" texture

This one definitely works best with a vibrator. The vibrations which cause each of the little beans to flicker and quiver. I’m actually wondering, though, whether the Jelly Beans texture would work better if the beans lay horizontally rather than vertically. With them positioned vertically, a lot of that lovely “flicking” sensation is lost because you’re grinding with the texture rather than against it.

I enjoy using the Jelly Beans Vibe Pad as a warm-up toy. Overall, though, I find this one too gentle and I haven’t been reaching for it anywhere near as much as the others. This might be a good one to start with if you’re new to hump toys or just prefer a less intense type of stimulation.

Godemiche Vibe Pad: “Ridges”

The Ridges texture is a bit like a slight variation of the “Waves”, which was my favourite of all the original range of Godemiche textures, so I knew straight away that I was probably going to like this one.

Godemiche Vibe Pad in "Ridges" texture

The Ridges are perhaps more intense than the Waves, as the tops of them are slightly firmer and they don’t move quite as smoothly. If you liked the Waves texture and think you’d enjoy more intensity, this is a great step up. You’ll really need adequate lubrication for this one, though. I like to add a little to both my body and the surface of the toy.

The great thing about this texture is that the ridges are close enough together that, as you grind, you get a constant rubbing sensation along your vulva and clit. Of the Grind Pads I received for this review, this is the one that can most reliably get me off.

Godemiche Vibe Pad hump toys with Rocks Off RO80 bullet vibrator

Godemiche Vibe Pad: “Waves”

My love affair with Godemiche’s Waves texture continues with this iteration. The silicone ripples are very soft and flexible, and close enough together to provide constant clitoral contact as I grind against it.

Waves Vibe Pad hump toy by Godemiche

It’s a bit like having your clit licked by lots and lots of little silicone tongues. It’s also an ultra smooth sensation compared to many of the other textures. I like this one best when I can grind down really hard against it.

Godemiche Vibe Pad: “Tall Pyramids”

The Tall Pyramids texture is a variation on the “Spikes” from the original range and, at first glance, it looks a little scary. Who wants sharp-looking pointy things near their vulva!?

Tall Pyramids Vibe Pad hump toy by Godemiche

However, when you touch the tall pyramids you’ll realise that they are actually very soft and flexible. Depending on how hard you grind against the toy, you can get anything from a very gentle tickle up to quite an intense rubbing sensation. The pyramids glide around your vulva and flick over your clit, stimulating you all over at once but in a way that’s somewhat unpredictable.

Let’s Talk About the Vibrator

Your Vibe Pad comes with a vibrator included: the RO80 bullet by Rocks Off. This battery-operated mini bullet vibe has a single-button interface and 7 different settings (3 constant speeds and 4 patterns.)

The Vibe Pads are cleverly designed with a “button” cut into the silicone right where the vibrator’s button sits. This means that you can turn it on, off, or change the setting during use without having to take the vibrator out. This is an excellent touch.

Used by itself, the RO80 isn’t anything special. It’s not terrible, but it’s pretty buzzy and not particularly powerful. It’s definitely an enhancement to the Vibe Pad’s main function as a grinding toy rather than the main event.

The design of the Vibe Pad is such that the vibrations dissipate all the way across my vulva regardless of which texture I’m using. In my experience, they definitely work best with the more “raised” texture designs than the flatter ones, as they make everything sort of quiver.

Your other option, of course, is to use any bullet vibrator you prefer that fits within the slot. However, this will make operating it more fiddly unless your vibe of choice also happens to have a single button in exactly the same place.

In reality, I rarely use my Vibe Pads with the vibrator since testing them for this review. Godemiche’s grinders are so good on their own that the vibrator is an extra I don’t feel like I really need. But it’s nice to have the option!

Verdict

I am, once again, totally obsessed with these toys and ready to evangelise about them to anyone who will listen! They’re a great evolution of the basic grinder concept.

Vibe Pads start from £54.99 for a random colour with the vibrator included. Optional extras including custom colours, strap lengths, strap colours, and lube available at an additional cost. You can also save by getting a bundle of 3 textures in the same colour.

[Toy Review] Arosum Vibratwin Strapless Strap-On & Kegelator Kegel Exerciser

Arosum, who both sponsored this strapless strap on dildo and kegel exerciser double review and recently came on board as a site sponsor, is a rare beast in this industry: a sex toy retailer that does not use gendered language in its marketing. You won’t find Arosum toys grouped into limiting and cissexist categories such as “for women” and “for men.” Instead, toys are categorised by type and body part.

This is such an easy change to make if you want to make your sex toy marketing more inclusive, and yet so many retailers fail.

Arosum kindly send me the Vibratwin strapless strap on vibrating dildo and the Kegelator vibrating kegel balls to review.

Arosum Vibratwin Strapless Strap On Dildo Review

Arosum Vibratwin strapless strap-on vibrator

Strapless strap-ons are a divisive topic in the sex toy space. Some love them and others hate them. I’ve always been quite indifferent. I had a mediocre experience with one in my twenties, and haven’t really bothered again since. So I was curious to see how I’d get on with the Arosum Vibratwin Strapless Strap-On.

Fun fact, as I discovered when doing Google keyword research for this post: Vibratwin is also the name of a dual-action floor cleaning machine!

Vibratwin Strapless Strap On Dildo Review: Details

The Vibratwin is a classic strapless strap on vibrating dildo, with one arm to go inside the wearer and then a protruding arm for them to fuck their partner with. The main shaft measures 5.35″ in length and 1.57″ in diameter at the widest point, and the shaft for the wearer measures 5.51″ in insertable length (but is very curved) and 1.26″ in diameter at the widest point.

The Vibratwin is made of body-safe silicone in a pretty shade of green. In the box you’ll also find a remote control and a storage bag (though, weirdly, the bag isn’t really big enough for the toy unless you squish it in at a weird angle!)

The Vibratwin is IPX7 waterproof and rechargeable. The battery life – around 45 minutes on a full charge – isn’t great, but is anyone really doing penetrative sex for longer than 45 minutes at a time anyway?

In Use: What I Liked

Arosum Vibratwin strapless strap-on vibrator

I really like the curved shape of the wearer’s shaft on the Vibratwin, for two reasons:

  1. It helps the toy to actually stay inside me
  2. It presses very pleasurably against my G-spot

Other things I like about this toy:

  • The “come hither” motion of the main shaft. It feels great and it means that, if you want to have strap-on sex without a lot of thrusting, you can just slide the shaft inside your partner and let the toy do the hard work. There are 3 different speeds.
  • The versatility. You can control the come-hither motion and the vibrations separately. Or, if you’re not in the mood for either, just leave them switched off.
  • It takes much less set-up than my regular strap-on, which I love but which always requires several minutes of futzing with straps and rings before it’s ready to go.
  • The remote control is a really nice addition, making it easy to control the toy in use with a partner. It’s fast and responsive.
  • There’s no reason you can’t also use it as a solo toy, if you want.
  • The silicone is really soft and smooth.

Anything I Don’t Like?

  • The inevitable squeaky whine that accompanies the “come hither” motion. This isn’t really Arosum’s fault, it’s probably almost impossible to make a toy that does this motion without it, but I still hate it.
  • The ridges on the main shaft. These will work really well for some people but for me, that level of texturing is more likely to be painful than pleasurable. As such, I think I’d prefer to use this toy when I’m Topping (assuming my partner enjoys that texture) rather than bottoming.
  • The vibrations are quite weak and buzzy. I don’t really like internal vibrations anyway, though, so I’ll just keep them turned off when using this toy in the future.

Arosum Strapless Strap On Dildo Review: Verdict

Surprisingly great! I really like this one and will definitely use it again.

The Vibratwin Strapless Strap On retails for $99.

Arosum Kegelator Vibrating Kegel Balls

Arosum Kegelator vibrating kegel exerciser

I’ve written about kegel balls (AKA pleasure balls) and their purported benefits before. Some proponents claim that they can strengthen the pelvic floor, reduce incontinence, or enhance (or make it easier to have) G-spot orgasms. The actual evidence, though, doesn’t really stack up. The data supporting the bladder control claims is minimal and contradictory, and I could find no evidence (beyond the anecdotal) to support the orgasm claims.

Kegel exercises themselves are good for you, helping to prevent incontinence and other pelvic floor problems. It’s a good idea to do them regularly. But do kegel balls or other exercisers really help? The jury is out on that one.

Due to the lack of evidence to support any health claims, I choose to look at kegel balls and kegel exercises purely as sex toys.

How Does the Kegelator Perform as a Toy?

The Kegelator measures 8.27″ end to end, of which 4.33″ is insertable and the rest is the tail. The insertable portion is 1.54″ wide at the widest point, and 0.79″ at the narrowest point. It’s made of body-safe silicone in a dusky pink shade and is the classic “two connected balls with a long tail” shape.

As well as vibrating, the top part of the Kegelator moves in a “come hither” motion to stimulate the G-spot.

What I Liked About the Kegelator

Arosum Kegelator vibrating kegel exerciser

  • The main thing I like about this toy is its shape. The size and slight curve of the head is ideal for seeking out my G-spot and targeting it with precision.
  • The remote is fast, responsive, and allows you to move between the 10 patterns and settings in either direction.
  • It’s comfortable enough to wear for quite a while, if you want to.
  • The silicone is silky soft.

Anything I Didn’t Like?

  • That whining noise again!
  • The fact that you can’t control the vibrations and come hither motion separately. I don’t like internal vibrations and would really like to turn them off while still using the other function!
  • 60 minutes battery life isn’t great, especially for something you might theoretically want to wear for longer periods.
  • The vibrations are weak and buzzy.

Verdict

Unlike the Vibratwin strapless strap on dildo, I think the Kegelator is just okay. It’s really let down by the lack of dual controls, and the buzzy vibrations will be a downside for anyone looking for powerful internal vibes.

The Kegelator Kegel Exerciser retails for $79.

[Toy Review] We-Vibe Rave 2

If you’re a regular reader of my toy reviews, you’ll know that I am not always the biggest fan of internal vibrators. In general, vibrations against my G-spot just don’t feel that good to me. Sometimes they can even be uncomfortable. This means that, when I am asked to test G-spot vibrators, I often end up using them in ways beyond their intended purpose. The We-Vibe Rave 2, which landed in my review pile this week, is no exception to this rule.

We-Vibe Rave 2 G-spot vibrator

So how did I get along with this new toy from a company that has created so many enduring faves over the years?

We-Vibe Rave 2: Details

The We-Vibe Rave 2 is a new iteration of We-Vibe’s Rave G-spot vibrator. It’s an app-controlled G-spot toy that measures 8.5″ in length (5″ insertable) and 1.5″ in diameter. Made of body-safe silicone, it is available in either hot pink or dusky blue.

We-Vibe Rave 2 app controlled vibrator

There are several upgrades to this edition of the We-Vibe Rave from the original, including:

  • It now has two motors instead of one
  • It has a hinge in the centre of the shaft
  • The shaft has been slightly redesigned

The Rave 2 is rechargeable, with 2 hours of charging giving around 2 hours of runtime. A storage pouch is also included.

We-Vibe Rave 2 Review: What I Liked

Having been big players in the app-controlled toys space for a long time, We-Vibe typically produce reliable and good quality products. As such, there are a lot of things to like about the We-Vibe Rave 2.

  • The twisted shaft design and pronounced curve is excellent for targeted and precision G-spot stimulation.
  • The hinge! Oh my god the hinge. It’s an absolutely brilliant addition and I love how much it can alter the feel of the toy as well as how easy it is to hold and manipulate.
We-Vibe Rave 2 app-controlled G spot vibrator

  • The app functionality for solo/close-range play (we’ll dive into the app in more detail below.)
  • The second motor which offers stimulation of the sensitive area around the vaginal entrance.
  • The ability to control the two motors independently.
  • The vibrations are strong, rumbly… but also quiet.

We-Vibe Rave 2 Review: What I Didn’t Like

Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room: this product’s bizarre marketing claims. On the We-Vibe website, the company claims that the Rave 2 offers “dual stimulation target[ing] both G-spot & clitoris.” There is no universe in which that’s true, sorry. Even with the hinge bent as far as it will go, there is no way this toy is reaching both the clit and the G-spot at the same time on the vast majority of bodies.

It also claims that it can be “worn during sex,” which… maybe sort of, I suppose, depending on what kind of sex we’re talking about. However, that terminology in the sex toy industry mostly refers to toys that can be worn during penis-in-vagina intercourse. The We-Vibe Rave 2 toy is definitely not that. It’s also just not something I would ever consider to be a “wearable” toy in any meaningful way.

Seriously, did We-Vibe just copy the wording from another of their products wholesale and not edit it at all? Because that’s how it looks.

Okay, so what else didn’t I like?

  • I would have preferred the insertable part to be a little more flexy and less rigid.
  • The manual controls are really fiddly and annoying. It can be hard to tell which motors you’re turning on and off and the responsiveness to speed changes isn’t always reliable.
  • A lot of the vibration patterns are quite samey so though there are nominally 10 patterns, it’s really more like five or six.
  • “Touch mode” on the app does not work at all. No matter how I move my finger, the toy responds exactly the same.
  • The long-distance app functionality made me want to scream. This deserves an entire section to itself, so we’ll get into that below.
We-Vibe Rave 2 G-spot vibrator buttons

Okay, Let’s Talk About the App

The reason most people will buy a toy like the We-Vibe Rave 2 is because it’s app-controllable. App-controlled vibrators have taken off enormously and are particularly popular with people in long-distance relationships as well as cam performers.

Solo Mode

The We-Vibe app seems to be slightly different every time I use it, with new additions and improvements. Overall, I really liked this latest iteration when I was using the toy in solo mode. You have a few options including:

  • “Single Vibe”, which allows you to adjust the speed of the two motors (separately or together) on a single pattern.
  • “Multi vibe”, which allows you to use a different pattern for each motor simultaneously and switch between patterns quickly.
  • “Touch mode”, which is supposed to change the vibrations based on your finger movements on the screen but actually does absolutely nothing.
  • “Beat”, which syncs your toy to music.
  • “Playlist”, in which you can create your own personalised collection of settings in a particular order.
  • “Ambient”, in which the toy responds to ambient noise around you.

The connectivity was fast and the responsiveness was good. So far so promising.

Long-Distance Mode

But then I tried to use the long-distance feature to hand control of the toy over to my girlfriend, and that’s when my experience with this toy really started to go sideways.

Bearing in mind that the long-distance capabilities are one of We-Vibe’s main selling points for many of their toys: it simply does not work at all. We spent the best part of an hour trying to get the We-Vibe Rave 2 to connect and got nowhere.

No matter what we did, up to and including deleting and reinstalling the app, we could not get it to connect. We were met with either blank screens or notifications that the other was “offline” when we were very definitely online.

Having read lots of reviews this seems to be a common issue with this iteration of the We-Vibe app. I do expect some occasional issues with app-controlled toys as the technology is still relatively new and the kinks are being ironed out, so to speak. But there’s really no excuse for it to be this useless, particularly when it’s marketed so heavily as a benefit of these toys.

So instead of a hot remote sex date, we ended up spending a frustrating hour battling with technology. In the words of my girlfriend when we finally gave up: “I’m just horny and angry now!”

Verdict: Do I Recommend It?

The We-Vibe Rave 2 itself is fine as a toy, though not spectacular. It offers great power and good app functionality in solo play mode, as well as some excellent design features. But its manual controls are a massive pain, it makes some outlandishly inaccurate marketing claims… and the feature that is arguably its most important selling point doesn’t fucking work.

Therefore I cannot currently recommend this toy if you want to use it remotely. If you want to use it with the app at close range or just as a regular G-spot vibrator then sure, it’s fine, though I think you can probably get an equally serviceable G-spot vibrator at a lower price if you don’t need all the additional fancy features.

The We-Vibe Rave 2 retails for £129.99 ($139.00) and is available from Lovehoney UK, Lovehoney US, We-Vibe Europe, We-Vibe North America, Good Vibes, Babeland, and SheVibe.

[Toy Review] OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse

Kiiroo is currently one of the world’s biggest names in remote control and app-controlled sex toys, alongside the likes of Lovense and WeVibe. After my recent experience with the Kiiroo Pearl2+, I was excited to get to try another legendary Kiiroo toy: the OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse.

OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse: Details

OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse

The OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse is a rabbit-style vibrator. In the box you’ll find the toy, a charging cable, an instruction manual, and a silky drawstring storage bag.

The entire toy measures just over 7″ in total length. The rigid internal arm offers 5″ of insertable length and is a slimline 1.3″ in diameter. Its clitoral arm is 2″ in length and extremely flexible. The entire thing weighs in at a petite 131g.

The Fuse is rechargeable via the included USB charger, and you’ll get 1.5-2 hours of use from a full (2.5 hours) charge. It’s not waterproof, though (only splashproof) which is a little surprising from a toy at this price-point.

The Kiiroo Fuse is made from body-safe matte silicone in black or pink, accented with a silver metallic strip on the handle.

Using the OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse Manually

With the best will in the world, I’m unlikely to regularly use an app to control a vibrator when I’m using it by myself. Aside from anything else, I need one hand to hold the toy and one hand to scroll through erotica or sext one of my partners. I simply don’t have enough hands to do a third thing, too! So I started off by testing the Fuse as just a regular rabbit vibrator, using its manual controls.

Kiiroo Fuse app controlled vibrator buttons

The Fuse’s manual mode is operated from a single-button interface, which I don’t love. It includes 7 inbuilt settings: one constant speed and 6 patterns. The lack of multiple constant power levels in manual mode is a pretty major downside! However, you can somewhat get around this by putting the toy into “touch sensitive” mode. This means it will vibrate when it is in contact with your body. The more of the toy is inside you, the harder it will vibrate. Clever, no?

The button is also sort of small, though there is a little pulsing light so it’s easy to see even if you’re playing in a dark space. The Fuse’s handle is ergonomic and comfortable to hold, and the button is well positioned.

But all of that aside, does it actually feel good? The Fuse’s shape is excellent, with a gentle curve and pronounced ridge on the head that’s ideal for G-spotting. The flexibility of the external arm makes it easy to keep consistent contact with my clit. It also means the toy is likely to suit a wider range of bodies than those with a fixed position clitoral stimulator. Physically and ergonomically, the Fuse’s design is excellent.

Finally, let’s talk about the Fuse’s vibrations. As with other Kiiroo products I’ve tried, they are strong and rumbly. One huge, major, enormous problem? You can’t control the vibrations in the two arms separately. This is a real issue if, like me, you prefer much more intense stimulation in one area than the other.

Using the Fuse with the App

Kiiroo toys like the OhMiBod Fuse really come into their own when they are connected to the Kiiroo app (called FeelConnect, available free on both Android and iOS.) I started off trying it with the app by myself (even though, as mentioned above, I’m unlikely to actually do this in general use.)

I thought I might be able to control the toy’s two vibrating portions separately through the app. Sadly, no such luck. It’s still both or neither. There are some fun features within the app, though. You can use touch control to turn the toy up or down with the swipe of a finger. For some reason, though, I COULD NOT get this to give me constant vibrations. It insisted on pulsing up and down no matter what I did.

Screenshot of Kiiroo Fuse app

The “clap control” (which is really just “sound control”) offers some interesting potential. You can adjust the sensitivity, but beware: if it’s up too high, the toy will pick up on the sound of its own vibrations and stay on regardless!

Screenshot of OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse app

Finally, you can connect your OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse to various erotic media including both 2D and VR porn. You’ll need a VR headset and the FeelVR app to enjoy the latter. This can provide a more immersive masturbatory experience, if that’s something you’re after. And if you’re an online performer such as a cam model, you can connect your Fuse to various camming sites and give control over to your fans in exchange for tips or as part of an interactive show.

Testing the Remote Capabilities

To test the OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse’s remote capabilities, I embarked on a little remote vibrator sex date with my girlfriend[1][2].

We had a little trouble finding each other on the app after she set up her account, for some reason – my username showed up in her searches but hers didn’t show up in mine. I’m still not sure what the problem was here. Once we’d found each other, the toy connected quickly and the responsiveness was excellent. (Which is good news if your partner happens to enjoy switching the toy off or turning the power right down juuuuuust as you’re about to cum… ask me how I know.)

Fuse by OhMiBod and Kiiroo

You can text-chat or video call through the FeelConnect app, though you can’t send pictures, which feels like an oversight. Of course, you can also chat in a different app and switch between the two as needed if you prefer. (That’s what we did in the end.)

The person controlling the toy will see a slider. They can use this to turn the toy’s vibrations up and down. Unfortunately, as far as we could tell, that’s about the only thing they can do. There didn’t seem to be any way to turn on a pattern or pulse setting instead of the constant vibrations remotely. This wasn’t actually a problem for me – I far prefer constant vibrations to patterns! – but it’s something to be aware of if your preferences are different.

From a connectivity and responsiveness perspective, though, the OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse is one of the best toys I’ve ever tried. Not once did the connection drop. Despite the tremendous rise of app-controlled toys recently, it is still unusual in my experience for one to work this seamlessly.

If your partner also has a Kiiroo toy, you can use the “Device to Device” functionality to control both toys at once. Which seems like it would have some very fun potential!

I think that my main use for this toy going forward will be remote play like this. It’s unlikely to be something I’ll reach for regularly by myself, but its long-distance capabilities are probably its main selling point.

[1] The eagle-eyed regular readers amongst you will notice this is the first time she’s been mentioned. Yes, it’s a new relationship. She’s wonderful and I am very happy!

[2] The things my partners do for you all! #DoingItForTheReaders.

OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse Review: Verdict

Mixed on this one. On the plus side, very strong and rumbly vibrations that get me off hard and reliably. It’s got great connectivity and responsiveness for playing remotely with a partner. On the downside, though, the app is clunky to use. It is also surprisingly limited in functionality compared to other similar products on the market.

By far my biggest criticism about the OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse is that you can’t operate the internal and external portions separately. This is a huge downside if you’re someone like me who prefers gentle internal vibrations or just the pressure of an insertable alongside strong clitoral vibrations. To get the strength of vibes I want on my clit, I have to deal with internal vibes that are really much more intense than I would prefer.

Overall? I think the Kiiroo Fuse is a good toy but not a great toy. It’s got great potential but also some significant flaws that need fixing to make it worth the price tag. The OhMiBod Kiiroo Fuse retails for £144/$149 at the time of writing and is available from stores such as Good Vibes and Babeland, as well as directly from Kiiroo.

[Toy Review] Kiiroo Pearl2+

A few months back, I got the opportunity to review the Kiiroo Pearl3 for Sex Tech Guide. It feels a little strange to have reviewed the newer product before the older one. But the preceding toy in the range, the Kiiroo Pearl2+, is still available and I recently received one to test out for you all.

Kiiroo Pearl2+ Review: Details

The Kiiroo Pearl2+ is a G-spot vibrator that claims to be “the world’s most high-tech G-spot vibrator.” That’s quite the claim! And while I’m as much of a fan of fancy sex tech as anyone, I’m ultimately a woman of quite simple tastes when it comes to what my vulva likes. I want rumbly power, and lots of it.

Kiiroo Pearl2+ app controlled vibrator

The Kiiroo Pearl2+ measures 8″ in length and just over 1.5″ in diameter at the widest point, and weighs in at a pretty light 139g. It is coated in body-safe silicone and fully waterproof. The Pearl2+ is USB rechargeable via the included cable. You’ll get around 90 minutes of battery life for a two hour charge.

Kiiroo Pearl2+ Review: What I Liked

Let’s start with the good. The Kiiroo Pearl2+ does offer genuinely powerful and rumbly vibrations. In a world where sex toy manufacturers are often so focused on gimmicks (nifty app features) that they forget the basics (good motors), it’s good to see that Kiiroo’s designers have not fallen into that trap.

I also really like the Pearl2+’s shape. Its smooth shaft is comfortable to insert, and its gentle curve is ideal for targeting my G-spot. It has a soft silicone exterior and a firm texture, which is great for applying G-spot pressure.

Kiiroo Pearl2+ smart vibrator

Aesthetically, too, I’m a big fan. The Kiiroo Pearl2+ is a lovely turquoise, which happens to be not only an unusual colour for sex toys, but also my favourite colour apart from purple.

Manual, Interactive, Touch-Sensitive: Multiple Ways to Play with the Kiiroo Pearl2+

The Pearl2+ also comes with an impressive array of additional features.

Kiiroo’s FeelConnect app is available free on both Android and iOS, and is quick and easy to download and set up. The toy’s box includes instructions for connecting your toy to the app, which takes under a minute.

You can then sync your toy to interactive online content (such as VR porn), connect with your partner from anywhere in the world (they’ll also need the app for this), or use the “Touch Control” feature to control your toy’s vibrations with the swipe of a finger. If you’re an online performer, you can also sync your toy to your camming platform to allow your fans to tip you in exchange for temporary control of your toy.

The Kiiroo Pearl2+’s long-distance responsiveness from a partner was excellent during my test runs, but the Touch Control function was quite spotty and unreliable. And personally, though I like the idea of a toy that connects to interactive content, most of what’s available is what could broadly be called “mainstream porn”, which I have virtually no interest in (and am often actively turned off by.)

Finally, there’s the Pearl2+’s touch-sensitive functionality. Touch-sensitive plates along the back of the toy respond to any kind of contact from your body, such as the pressure from your vaginal walls when it’s inserted or the touch of a finger. More pressure equals more power, so you can turn the toy’s intensity up and down simply by using one, two, or three fingers. From my perspective at least, this is probably the coolest of all the Pearl2+’s features.

For a toy that comes with this many extras, the Kiiroo Pearl2+’s price of £105 ($109) is extremely competitive.

What I Don’t Like About the Pearl2+

Interestingly, I find the Pearl2+ very comfortable and ergonomic for use as a G-spot toy, but significantly less so when I use it as a clitoral vibrator. Perhaps it’s something to do with the angle, but my hand was really sore after a 20 minute session of clit play with this toy.

Honestly, I’d probably like it more if I was a bigger fan of G-spot vibrations. For a comfortable-to-use and powerful clitoral vibrator, though, I’m unlikely to reach for it regularly.

Kiiroo Pearl2+ app controlled vibrator

Finally, I don’t like the Kiiroo Pearl2+’s controls. It has only one button, which means you have to scroll through all the settings to go back a step if you’re using it on manual mode. Even with just three constant speeds and two patterns, it’s really annoying. In a toy of this price point, there’s really no excuse not to have bidirectional buttons. In addition, if you hit the button again after the final setting, the vibrations switch off entirely. This is immensely frustrating, particularly if you’re close to orgasm.

Verdict

So is the Kiiroo Pearl2+ worth it? Ultimately, that depends on how much use you’re going to get out of its additional high-tech features.

If you’re after a basic vibrator, there are cheaper options on the market that are of at least as high a quality. Not that the Pearl2+ is bad, because – despite its flaws – it’s fairly strong and rumbly. But it’s just unnecessary to pay over £100 for a straightforward G-spot vibrator (especially one that uses a single button interface.)

But if you’re more interested in syncing your vibe with online content, playing long-distance or syncing toys with your partner, or playing around with fun extras such as the touch-sensitivity, you’ll struggle to find another toy with this many excellent features at this price point.

You can buy the Pearl2+ from several of the retailers I love including Babeland, Good Vibes, SheVibe, and Sex Toys UK, as well as directly from Kiiroo.

Review: Bestvibe CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo

Happy new year, friends! 2022 was a rough one and I’m not naive enough to say “2023 is going to be my year!” We’re all still facing ongoing challenges due to *gestures vaguely at everything*. Personally, I’ll be satisfied if 2023 reaches the bar of “better than 2022.” With that said, it’s time to dive into my very first review of the new year: the CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo from Bestvibe Toys.

Bestvibe Toys CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo Review

Bestvibe approached me right before the holidays to invite me to review of their products. Since readers ask me about recommendations for both realistic toys and thrusting toys all the time, I thought I’d choose this one, which ticks both of those boxes.

CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo

The CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo is closely resembles a bio-cock. It is impressively detailed, with a veined shaft, textured balls, a pronounced head, and even skin texturing at the base of the head. If you’re looking for a highly detailed realistic toy without breaking the bank, look no further.

The CYRUS measures 9″ from base to tip, of which 7″ is insertable length, and 1.59″ in diameter at the widest point. This makes it a little larger than the average factory-installed penis, but not scarily huge. Due to the internal mechanisms and dense silicone, it weighs in at a hefty 490g. It features a suction cup base, allowing for hands-free play or harness compatibility for strap-on sex.

CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo

The CYRUS is made of body-safe silicone. Since the texture is quite similar to some TPE/TPR toys I’ve handled, I flame tested it to be sure. I’m pleased to say it’s definitely silicone. (The lack of any discernible smell also tipped me off that it’s real silicone.) Manufacturers often sacrifice safety in favour of “real feel” materials when it comes to realistic toys, so it’s great to find safe, non-porous alternatives.

The CYRUS is IPX5 waterproof, meaning it can withstand a sustained, low-pressure spray of water such as that from a home tap. Therefore, you can wash it under the tap, but don’t submerge it in water. It is rechargeable via the included cable and comes with a battery-operated remote control (1 x 27A 12V battery is included.)

The CYRUS retails for a very reasonable $77 and is currently on sale at $66.

Settings and Controls

There are two ways to control the Bestvibe Toys CYRUS: via the button on the base or via the remote control. Using the button, you’ll be able to scroll through 9 different patterns of vibration and their corresponding inbuilt thrusting patterns (there are 3 different thrusting patterns.)

CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo

With the remote, you can enjoy a much finer level of control, pairing any of the 3 thrusting and rotating modes with any of the 9 vibration patterns for a completely customisable experience. You can also use either the vibrations or thrusting separately, if you like.

The button on the base of the toy is a little stiff and requires quite a firm press. The buttons on the remote control, on the other hand, are easy to press. The toy’s responsiveness to the remote is fast and reliable, and the range of the remote is 10 metres.

Bestvibe Toys CYRUS Realistic Dildo Review: In Use

The CYRUS’s realistic design is ideal for users looking for the most lifelike experience possible from a toy. The shaft is rigid most of the way along, though the soft and squishy head (the last inch or so) really makes a positive difference from a comfort and ease of use perspective. The pronounced and ridged head is ideal for G-spotting.

I also really love the dual density feel. This means that the toy has a firm core on the inside, and a softer layer on the outside. Like an erect penis, in other words!

The Bestvibe Toys CYRUS’s thrusting mechanism feels amazing in use. If you have a vulva and enjoy dual stimulation, try using it hands-free (or asking a partner to use it on you) and pairing it with your favourite clitoral vibe. I actually prefer to use the thrusting mode alone, because I’m not the biggest fan of internal vibrations. Though it’s far too large for me to have tried it in this way personally, the CYRUS is also anal-safe if that’s your jam.

One of my favourite features of the CYRUS is its “warming” function. Press the little flame icon on the remote to activate this mode. The toy will warm to 38℃ (just very slightly above human body temperature). This really enhances the experience if you’re looking for a toy that feels as realistic as possible. Instead of cool silicone, you can mimic the natural warmth you’d feel with a partner’s cock.

CYRUS Classic Swing&Heat Thrusting Realistic Dildo

The Bestvibe Toys CYRUS’s silicone is quite “grabby” due to its matte texture. Therefore, I’d really recommend using plenty of lubricant for a comfortable experience. Any water-based lube will work. It will also pick up dust and lint in storage, so give it a quick wipe before each use.

The vibrations aren’t massively strong and are a little buzzy. However, they are concentrated in the head of the toy. If you like really powerful G-spot vibrations, this one might not be for you. But if you’re happy with gentler vibes (or mainly here for the thrusting function, as I was) this shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Volume-wise, the vibrations are very quiet. The thrusting mode isn’t exactly loud, but it does have a very distinctive sound that I can best describe as a repetitive, high-pitched whir. The suction cup is strong and stays in place well on every surface I’ve tried it on.

Bestvibe Toys CYRUS Review: Verdict

I like this one! If I’m honest, realistic dildos aren’t often my thing, aesthetically speaking. I tend to prefer more abstract, colourful (and occasionally glittery) designs. But functionally, it does the job and comes with some great extra features. If I was going to recommend one body-safe, realistic toy at a very realistic price, it might be this one.

Thanks to Bestvibe Toys for sending me the CYRUS realistic dildo to review. All views are, as always, my own. This post was sponsored, meaning I was paid to write an honest review.

[Toy Review] PinkPunch Sunset Mushroom Vibrator

I’ve reviewed many different styles of sex toys at this stage. There’s the classic vibrators and dildos, of course. But I’ve also tested toys shaped like penguins, whales, birds, roses, ice creams, and more. Until Pink Punch (pinkpunch.com) sent me this toy this week, though, I have never tested a vibrator shaped like a mushroom!

Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom Vibrator: Details

PinkPunch sunset mushroom vibrator

Pink Punch got in touch and asked me to test their brand new Sunset Mushroom vibrator, which is the result of multiple years of development and a significant financial investment. I was only too happy to agree!

The Sunset Mushroom is a miniature app-controlled vibrator made of silky smooth and body-safe matte silicone. It measures just under 4″ in total length and looks like a little pink mushroom with cream and orange detailing. The design is really cute and eyecatching. I particularly like the detailing on the mushroom head and the translucent top layer of silicone gives it a softened, otherworldly aesthetic.

The Sunset Mushroom Vibrator comes with its own wireless charging case (think the sort of thing that you charge Airpods in!) This means you don’t need to plug the toy into the wall to charge it. As long as the case is charged, the toy will charge up automatically when you pop it into the case. The little heart light will flash to indicate that the toy is charging. This design makes the toy ideal for travel. A full charge takes 30 minutes and you’ll get an hour of runtime (charging the case takes around 2 hours.) The Sunset Mushroom is also fully waterproof, though its charging case is not.

PinkPunch sunset mushroom vibrator case

My Sunset Mushroom Vibrator arrived in discreet, nondescript packaging. Inside, the toy is attractively boxed in cute branded packaging and fastened with a PinkPunch branded ribbon. Inside the box you’ll find the toy, its charging capsule, a micro USB cable to plug it in, a detachable pull loop with you can optionally clip onto the toy, and a little PinkPunch pin badge. You’ll also find an envelope containing an instruction leaflet and some PinkPunch stickers. It’s clear that real thought has gone into the presentation here, making this toy lovely for gifting or just as a treat for yourself.

PinkPunch sunset mushroom vibrator in its case

The Sunset Mushroom Vibrator retails for $99 (just over £80), which is at the lower end of the price range for an app-controlled toy. But how did it fare in use?

Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom Vibrator In Use: Manual

Despite its small size, the Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom Vibrator packs, well, a punch when it comes to features and functionality.

The motor is sensibly located in the head of the mushroom for best vibration transferrence. This isn’t quite as powerful as I would ideally like and it’s a little buzzy. The handle also vibrates a little during use, so be aware of this if that’s likely to be a problem for you.

The single-button interface is sensibly located on the base of the toy and is easy to press to cycle through the inbuilt three constant vibration speeds and four patterns.

PinkPunch sunset mushroom vibrator

Here’s a really cool thing about this toy: at first glance it looks like it’s primarily a clitoral vibrator (essentially it’s a mini wand!) but, thanks to the included detachable pull-loop to aid with easy removal, you can also use it as an internal vibrator. It’s small enough that it can even function as a leave-in if you like, stimulating you as you go about your day.

One of my favourite aspects of the Pink Punch Sunset Mushroom Vibrator’s design is the rigid neck. This means that you can get a good amount of pressure without it flexing away from your body. The curved shape and large, rigid head is amazing for targeted G-spot stimulation. I also really love the texturing on the tip of the head for clitoral play which, when coupled with a little water-based lube, adds a lovely additional sensation.

PinkPunch sunset mushroom vibrator

Personally, and perhaps surprisingly, I like this one best as an internal toy. The vibrations weren’t quite enough for me to orgasm clitorally, which tends to require very high powered and rumbly vibes. But I prefer gentler toys for internal use. The lower level vibrations combined with the fantastic shape and bulbed mushroom head made it the ideal long-term wear G-spot toy for me.

Unlike so many toys that make this claim, the Sunset Mushroom Vibrator actually is impressively quiet. It’s unlikely anyone in the next room will hear it unless you have paper-thin walls.

Sunset Mushroom Vibrator In Use: App Functionality

The Sunset Mushroom Vibrator functions just fine by itself, but really comes into its own when coupled with the Pink Punch app, which is available for free on both Android and iOS. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll need to set up an account using your email address. It’ll ask you for your date of birth (I’m not really sure why? A licensing requirement for an 18+ product maybe?) and your gender (there are, sadly, only “male” and “female” options.)

Once you’re in, you need to connect your toy by following the instructions on the leaflet. This took less than a minute and connected the first time with no issues. At this point, the app gives you an array of options.

To start controlling your toy from your phone, click “start”. You can then scroll through the four different pattern options and change the speed with a swipe of your finger. The “Lottery” option is fun, cycling through patterns at random in ten-second increments.

You can give control to your partner using the “remote control” option. They will need to have the app downloaded on their phone. Then you simply give them a unique code which will allow them to control your toy until you end the session. This has good potential for people in long-distance relationships, as well as for cam performers.

The app has a fun and colourful aesthetic that reminds me a little of a retro video game. There’s even a section where you can see your use stats and get reward badges for using different functions. So that’s fun if, like me, you are eternally motivated by little hits of digital dopamine.

Pink Punch Mushroom Review: Verdict

I really like this one! Even though I wasn’t blown away by the strength of the vibrations and am unlikely to use it again as a clitoral toy, it’s a surprisingly excellent insertable. The design is cute, the shape is excellent, and the app functionalities and portable charging case really elevate it.

What are the Best Vibrators for Long Distance Play?

I’m not in a serious long distance relationship at the time of writing (though I do have a lovely long distance play partner.) But until a few months ago, I had a partner who lived in a different city. We saw each other about once a month, and kept in touch using various methods in between. We texted, sexted, had virtual dates, and occasionally played with sex tech like remote control long-distance vibrators.

Who Uses Long Distance Vibrators and Why?

Sales of high tech, remote-capable sex toys designed for long distance relationships boomed in the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic. Whether you’re temporarily separated by travel restrictions, one of you is travelling for work, or you currently (or permanently) live apart, you can enjoy sex from anywhere in the world with the right remote sex toy.

This is just one of the use-cases for the large, and growing, market for sex toys that can be controlled over long distances. If you enjoy the thrill of wearing a sex toy out and about and handing control to your partner, a long-distance vibrator can also be a good investment. They tend to be much more reliable than the ones with short-range handheld remotes.

Remote sex toys are now available in just about every iteration you can think of, from the common wearable toys to strokers, rabbits, clitoral suction toys, and more. There are even app-controlled chastity devices, believe it or not!

Another popular use-case for long-distance vibrators is for those who do online camming. Say you’ve set up your custom Chaturbate profile and built a loyal following, what’s next? Many performers find that using a remote vibe, and allowing fans to take control of it in exchange for tips, is a fun way to boost their earnings. Lovense toys are specifically designed with this functionality in mind.

But what are the best vibrators for long distance couples, cam models, and anyone else who needs a toy with remote control capability? Turns out that’s not a simple question to answer. Here are a few things you might want to consider to help you choose the best long-distance sex toy for YOU.

What’s Your Budget?

App-controlled and long distance sex toys are becoming more accessible, price-wise, as more and more companies are making them. You might say that sex tech has gone mainstream! Even so, there are products available at a wide range of price points. Lower priced products in this category tend to start at around the $80 mark, but you can easily spend hundreds of dollars for high-end products from some brands.

Before you start shopping, decide on your budget. You might need to compromise on some features, depending on how much you want to spend. Which brings us to…

Which Features Matter Most to You in Long Distance Vibrators?

You should also consider which features you want your toys to have and what matters the most to you. For some people, the most important feature will be the toy’s level of power. Though there are exceptions, many people who use sex toys tend to prefer strong, rumbly vibrations over weaker, buzzier ones.

App reliability is another big factor to consider. You don’t want the connection to keep dropping in the middle of your hot virtual sex date! And if you’re into the idea of semi-public play (or live with family/roommates), the volume of the toy might also be important to you.

When it comes to power, volume, and app connectivity, the best thing you can do is read honest reviews like the ones you’ll find here and on other sex blogs. Good sex toy bloggers test things robustly and call it as we see it when we give our verdict on a product.

Some app-controlled sex toys are more feature-rich than others. At the most basic level, app control will allow your partner to switch the toy on and off and scroll through a pre-set range of speeds and patterns. More advanced products have all kinds of fancy bonus features. For example, some toys allow you to draw your own vibration patterns, sync the vibrations to music, or even use your wearable toy as an alarm.

The Lovense Connect app
App: Lovense Connect

If you’re non-monogamous or do (for example) camming or phone sex, the option to give control to different people at the touch of a button might be important to you. Some toys only let you add one partner to their apps at a time. This means that you have to delete and re-add every time you’re playing with a different person.

The Most Powerful App-Controlled Toys

Two of the biggest players in app-controlled vibrators and other long distance sex toys right now are Lovense and We-Vibe. These products are popular for a reason – they are, in the main, high quality, reliable, and powerful vibes. But they are far from the only options on the market. Other options include Lovehoney’s Desire range as well as products from brands like Kiiroo, Svakom, and Lelo. I strongly suspect that over the next few years, most of the major sex toy brands will start bringing out app-controlled toys, if they haven’t already.

From a personal perspective, I have found We-Vibe’s products to be the most consistently powerful app-controlled toys I’ve tried. Lovense products are also generally pretty powerful. Interestingly, however, I found their most iconic and popular product (the Lush) rather lacklustre in the power department.

Consider Privacy When Using Long Distance Vibrators

I am far from a digital privacy expert. I do know that some people with far more knowledge than me have expressed legitimate concerns over the privacy aspect of long distance sex tech apps. Ultimately, you must do your own research and decide your level of acceptable risk. If you’re concerned, read the privacy policy of the company you’re considering buying from. You can also check out reviews from sex tech experts to see what they have to say about the privacy aspect.

Long Distance Sex Tech: A Few Specific Recommendations

As you can see, it’s not easy to give a blanket answer to the question “what are the best vibrators for long-distance sex?” Ultimately, what’s best for you will depend on your personal preferences and the various factors I’ve discussed in this piece.

But from a personal perspective, here are a few of the app-controlled sex toys that I like the most:

  • Lovense Ferri, a fabulously powerful-yet-discreet knicker vibe.
  • Lovense Domi, a genuinely brilliant wand. You don’t see app-controlled wand vibrators very often, which makes this one even more appealing.
  • We-Vibe Nova 2, an app-controlled rabbit vibe with a fantastic clit-friendly design.
  • We-Vibe Chorus and Chorus Pro, vibrators designed for clitoral stimulation during penetrative sex but also ideal for hands free long-distance play.

[Toy Review] Doxy Die Cast 3R

Update 2025: I received the limited-edition purple version of the Doxy Die Cast 3R rechargeable wand, produced in partnership with Lovehoney, which is no longer available. However, apart from the colour, the actual product reviewed here is identical to current iterations.

As a devoted and long-term Doxy fan, I was delighted to receive the new Die Cast 3R cordless version of their iconic wand vibrator to test and review.

Doxy Die Cast 3R: Introduction

Modelled on the full-size Die Cast wand, the Doxy Die Cast 3R is a miniature, rechargeable version. Here’s how they compare in size:

Doxy Die Cast and Doxy Die Cast 3R for comparison

The Die Cast 3R measures 11″ in length and the head measures 1.8″ in diameter. It features a stylish aluminium body and a body-safe silicone head. This toy weights 328g according to Doxy. This is just over 2.5 times less than the 869g of the full-size Die Cast.

I love the purple version I received, but the smart matte black standard version is just as gorgeous. Some suppliers also offer fun colourways and patterns from hot pink to tiger stripes to roses and beyond.

The head unscrews, making it easy to clean. This is helpful, since the Die Cast 3R is not waterproof. It also allows you to pair your toy with any of Doxy’s 3/3R attachments, such as this clitoral attachment and this penis masturbator attachment.

The Doxy Die Cast 3R also has a travel lock. Pro tip: mine came with this enabled, which confused me for a minute, so if you’re having trouble turning the toy on this is probably the issue.

Doxy Die Cast 3R for Doxy review

Doxy Die Cast 3R in Use: Pros

The main reason I love wand vibrators and reach for my Doxy Original and Doxy Die Cast so much is, of course, that they’re knock-your-socks-off powerful. When I’m having a low-sensitivity day, when my medication’s sexual side effects are getting in the way of my pleasure, when a shitty buzzy vibrator has numbed out my clit, or when I just want to get off quickly and get on with my day, they can be relied upon to get the job done quickly.

Did the Doxy Die Cast 3R match up? The short answer is “yes… sort of.”

According to Doxy’s convenient comparison chart, this toy has half the power of the Die Cast (its flagship and most powerful wand.) However, in a toy this size, that 50% still packs a serious punch. You still get intense, powerful, rumbly vibes and lots of them.

It’s also worth noting that the vibrations do feel different to the full-sized Doxy wands. This is likely due to the smaller head size. As the vibrations are focused into a smaller area, you get more direct intense stimulation instead of the broad, all-over rumble you get from a full-sized wand.

If noise is a concern for you, a petite wand like this one could be a better choice for you than a full-sized wand vibrator. Though it’s not exactly what I would call truly quiet, you do lose some of the volume thanks to its smaller size.

The Doxy Die Cast 3R features the same convenient three-button interface as other products in the Doxy wand range. The buttons are large and light up, making this toy ideal for use in low lighting. You can turn the power up and down by either pressing or press-holding the plus and minus buttons. (Dual directional speed controls? We love to see it!)

Doxy Die Cast 3R Rechargeable in Use: Cons

If the Doxy Die Cast 3R has one major let-down, it’s this: its charging and run time. A full charge takes four hours and gives only one hour of use. In reality, that means this is a toy you might need to plan ahead to use. If you’re someone who can have multiple orgasms and wants to get off several times in one session, this might be a downside.

Doxy wand insignia on magic wand massager

Verdict: Is it Worth the Cost?

If you’re looking for a cordless or travel-friendly wand vibrator that still offers virtually unbeatable intensity, the Doxy Die Cast 3R is a no-brainer. The rechargeable 3R is more expensive than both the Doxy Original and the Doxy Number 3 corded. You’re paying a premium for the rechargeable option, but some people will find this worth it.

While I do prefer the extra kick of the Die Cast Original’s superior motor, the 3R is a great alternative when I’m travelling, don’t have the energy to hold such a heavy toy, or can’t be bothered to scout around for power outlets at a play party.

The concentration of the vibrations into a smaller head is also a good choice if you’re looking for something a little less broad than a full-sized wand. Overall, I’m happy to give the Doxy Die Cast 3R a glowing recommendation.

The Doxy Die Cast 3R retails for £149.99-£209.99 UK or $219.99-$239.99 US. It is available from retailers such as toy Lovehoney UK, Lovehoney US (use my code AFF-COFFKINK10 on any Lovehoney site to get 10% off your entire purchase), Babeland, Good Vibes, The Pleasure Garden, Shevibe, and Sex Toys UK.

[Toy Review] Pillow Talk Cheeky Wireless Wand Vibrator

I fell in love with Pillow Talk when I reviewed the Sassy a few months back. So, when I got the chance to try out another toy from this range, I was happy to oblige. Let’s take a closer look at Pillow Talk Cheeky, a mini wireless wand vibrator.

Pillow Talk Cheeky Wand: Details

The Pillow Talk Cheeky is a wireless small wand style vibrator measuring 8″ in length. In the box you’ll find the toy, charging cable, a branded storage pouch, instructions, and even a little cleaning brush to help clean in those little grooves and ridges.

Pillow Talk Cheeky magic wand vibrator

The Pillow Talk Cheeky is made of body-safe silicone in a gorgeous mint/turquoise shade. I particularly love this colour for sex toys because it’s just so unusual (and pretty!) The Cheeky is also available in pink, if that’s more your thing.

The Cheeky is waterproof and rechargeable rechargeable via the included USB cable. It also has a travel lock.

Pillow Talk Cheeky: What I Liked

I was expecting great things from the Cheeky, given that amazing motor in the Sassy. I was not disappointed! The power starts off at an impressive rumble and builds to knock-your-socks-off intensity.

The single button interface on this toy are a little unusual. You press the button once to switch it on and off, and then hold it down to ramp up the power. I like this, because it allows for really fine grading on exactly what level of power you want. The light will flash while you’re turning up the power, then stop flashing when you’ve reached the highest level. Getting from the lowest to the highest setting takes a full ten seconds, to give you an idea of how much range this thing has!

The Pillow Talk Cheeky’s button, by the way, is a sparkly and light-catching crystal. Unnecessary, but cute.

Green wand vibrator Pillow Talk Cheeky

The Cheeky is lovely to hold thanks to the plushy soft silicone and cushioned handle. The neck is flexible, making it easy to angle the toy just right, however you prefer your stimulation. It’s also relatively light, and the vibrations are concentrated in the head and don’t transmit too much through the handle.

Green magic wand vibrator clitoral sex toy

Anything I Didn’t Like?

As usual, I would have preferred up/down controls. Only being able to change the speed in one direction without going all the way back to the beginning isn’t ideal.

The Pillow Talk Cheeky’s battery life is also poor. On a full charge, it lasted less than an hour. This isn’t a deal-breaker because I can get off with this toy reliably in under 10 minutes, but it’s something to be aware of.

Pillow Talk Cheeky Wand: Verdict

The Cheeky is a winner. Powerful, cute, and simpler to use. It’s an ideal balance between the broad and powerful stimulation of a wand and the relatively small and lightweight design of a smaller toy.

Pillow Talk Cheeky retail prices start from £80/$66. It’s available from retailers such as Sex Toys UK, Good Vibes, Shevibe, and Babeland.

A retailer that is sadly no longer in business sent me the Pillow Talk Cheeky wand to review. All opinions, as ever, are mine. Affiliate links appear in this post.
